History of the Oirats in the 15th - 16th century
Dordzhieva, Yulia ; Pargač, Jan (advisor) ; Šatava, Leoš (referee)
The Bachelor work History of the Oirats in the 15th - 16th century introduces the issue of history of Mongolian-speaking groups. Work focuses particularly on the West Mongolian tribes of the Oirats. The ethno "Orates" was a general name of several groups of related tribes, who lived in the historic area of West Mongolia (today, the northern part of Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region in China). Bachelor thesis aims to highlight issues of ethno genesis and historical facts of Orate tribes from the late 14th - early 17th century. The 15th - 16th century was generally regarded as a period of political crisis after the fall of strong successor empires of the Genghis Khan's state in the Central Asian region. There were often conflicts of power between the ruling dynasties and families. Power rivalry was manifested very clearly. There were frequent mutual struggles for control of territory or the acquisition of central positions in the ruling states. The 14th - early 15th century West Mongolian tribes joined together into one power- political entity, which appears in historical literature called the Oirat tribal federation - Derben Oirat (in Kalmyk Dörven-öörd, i.e. "Four Close"). The Oirat tribal association was composed of four main tribes: the Züngars (royal family Chorose), the Derbets, the Torgouts...

Responses of naive primates to snakes: experiments with selected species kept in Prague zoo
Kutinová, Lucie ; Frynta, Daniel (advisor) ; Fuchs, Roman (referee)
In the wild, snakes are known to elicit strong antipredator responses in primates. Primates often mob the snakes, which is also accompanied by loud calls. In evolution, the deadly threat posed by snakes goes as far as to the origin of placental mammals. In this study, the reactions of naïve individuals to snakes were tested. Naïve pigtail macaques (Macaca nemestrina) and mouse lemurs (Microcebus murinus) avoided the snake stimulus. For the macaques there was a longer latency to touch the rubber snake compared to the latency to touch the rubber lizard. The mouse lemurs avoided feeding on the side of experimental box where the snake odor was presented. The reactions of macaques and mouse lemurs were not accompanied by vocalizations and they seemed to be overall mild. Nevertheless, the snake stimuli used here were strong enough for these naïve primates. For ringtail lemurs (Lemur catta), the reactions to uncovering a hidden rubber snake was tested. But the lemurs showed no avoiding reactions. A question for further research is whether the different results for lemurs were not caused by different experimental procedure. As well as in macaques and mouse lemurs, the reactions seemed to be very mild. But no deeper analysis of the behavior was performed. Thus, a reaction could have been overlooked, which...

Tourism Product in the Sphere of Adventure Tourism
Pelejová, Dana ; Hesková, Marie (advisor) ; Jaderná, Eva (referee)
Tourism is becoming an ever more important part of the national economy. In advanced economies, the majority of inhabitants are employed in the services sector, which includes tourism. Currently tourism is at the peak of its development in the Czech Republic. A new, modern infrastructure is being built to connect up the natural and cultural treasures. My personal judgement is that it is primarily the finances from European funds, which have been streaming into the country for several years now, that have a large influence in this development. I see the market deficit in the CR to be poor communications between individual stakeholders. The comprehensive interconnection of services, information systems and tourist destinations. The aim of my work is to propose possible future cooperation for individual original, attractive stakeholders in experiential tourism within the territories of the Czech Republic, above all the Jindřichův Hradec district with its overlap into Lower Austria (Waldviertel). These stakeholders will then jointly form an area where both marketing and the professions are connected; this is known in the EU under the title of a tourism learning area (TLA). They can also be understood as destinations where individual stakeholders involved in experiential tourism are interconnected. The basic idea of the TLA seems relatively simple, however its implementation requires precise coordination and multilateral cooperation, and it is this that I want to achieve within this thesis.

The theological basis for the charitable activites of the Christian Church
Koudelka, Jaroslav ; Štica, Petr (advisor) ; Sládek, Karel (referee)
The theological basis for the charitable activities of the Christian Church. The thesis focuses on the charitable work of the Christian Church today known as Diakonia, characterised as a service of love to others, which is currently considered one of the key, i.e. constitutive elements, of the fundamental structure of the Church. Based on analyses of the relations between theological disciplines, particularly Biblical, systematic theology and Christian social ethics, it identifies the Christian Church's idea of charity as the communion of love in the service of those who suffer. A fundamental defining characteristic of the Diakonia charity is God's love and the structure of the assessment system that unfolds from it that is specific and essential for the Christian Church. Keywords Charitable work, Diakonia, service of love, Christian social ethics, Catholic social teaching

Plains volcanism in Tharsis region on Mars: Ages and Rheology of Eruption Products
Brož, Petr ; Závada, Prokop (advisor) ; Hauber, Ernst (referee)
Plains volcanism in Tharsis region on Mars: Ages and Rheology of Eruption Products Remote sensing data show clusters of low shield volcanoes in Tharsis volcanic province on Mars (Hauber et al., 2009). These low shield volcanoes and associated landforms are comparable with terrestrial plain-style volcanic products (Plescia, 1981) as defined by Greeley (1982) in the Snake River Plain in Idaho, which represents an intermediate style of volcanic activity ranging between flood basalts and the Hawaiian shields. While a number of recent studies addressed some aspects of low shield volcanoes, in particular their morphology, morphometry, and lava rheology, no systematic study including the chronology for the entire region of Tharsis is available so far. The goal of this work is to determine relative and absolute ages of low shield volcanoes and surrounding lava flows and their basic rheological properties. We used crater size-frequency distribution method (CSFD) developed by Hartman and Neukum (2001) and Ivanov (2001) for determination of absolute dating of the surface. For calculation of the rheological properties of the lava, we used methods established by Hiesinger et al. (2007). It is known that the low shield volcanoes on Mars consist of basaltic lavas that had low viscosities during their effusion, which can...

User support at Ministry of Agriculture´s offices
Pech, Jan ; Novotný, Ota (advisor) ; Kučera, Martin (referee)
This bachelor's thesis is concerned with a form of helpdesk system and brings recommendations to improve quality of IT services for users working at Ministry of Agriculture's offices with using ITIL concept. To achieve my goals this bachelor's thesis is using recommendations of ITIL and results from analysis of current situation of user support on each one of the offices and from report on State Land Office's helpdesk system too. Reason for making this bachelor's thesis is heterogeneity of providing user support among offices. This situation can not guarantee the same quality of IT services to users, there are not exactly defined processes of controling user's error reports or exatly define processes for managing known problems. It causes complications in case of joining offices or in case of providing user support across offices. This bachelor's thesis structure is composed of three main parts. The first part brings definition of the user support, information about user support's work and instruments, and it brings definition of ITIL with presentation ITIL 2011's recommendations for administrate IT services. The second part analyses and presents helpdesk system's data and data gained from questionnaires survey across Ministry of Agriculture's offices. The third part uses all the data and information in order to propose a form of unified helpdesk system which keeps sovereignty and the needs of each office and brings recommendations in support of this proposal.

CONCEPTION - Different attitude than expected - Attempt to implement a model of so called city house which is already known for centuries in present Přerov. -Attempt to minimalize need number of parking places and their placement only on the groung. SOLUTION A result of the design is polyfunctional complex of five separate houses with following functions: housing (mayority) services, shopping, offices and religious areas. The goal of the solution is to fill up the corner between Brabansko and Malá Dlážka streets properly and avail excellent light conditions (orientation of main street facades is southeastern). With the rhytm and facade division particular objects try to distort strong horizontality of the street line. The corner is accented and thus represents the opposite of close Sokol building.
