Modelling of Projects with Stochastic Cyclical Structure
Sládková, Ivana ; Zouhar, Jan (advisor) ; Kuncová, Martina (referee)
The Presented Thesis is focused on exploitation of stochastic cyclical networks in project management during project planning. Particularly, it is focused on the GERT method, which enables to carry out both the probability analysis and the time analysis of projects with stochastic structure. We deal primarily with analysis of such networks where cyclical activities occur. As an integral part of the Thesis, derivation of simplified computing procedures for cyclical activities is included. We extend the possibilities of the GERT method with stochastic evaluation of time duration of activities using the fuzzy GERT method. This fuzzy GERT method is applied on the real project and its results are compared to results of Monte Carlo simulation.

Economic Aspects of Blood Donation
Hanus, Luboš ; Janotík, Tomáš (advisor) ; Kukačka, Jiří (referee)
Sufficient blood supply is a continuous problem for health care systems around the world. The diversity of systems is also manifested as different methods of compensation and motivation of donors. During the last century the different types of compensation and motivation have brought about various high probabilities of transmission of infectious diseases. The goal of this thesis is to provide a sufficient description of donors' motivations in the Czech Republic and elsewhere. The first part aims to compare the risk of financially compensated blood donors and those who are not compensated. The second part gives a description of characteristics of the sample donors from the Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion in Prague. A probit model is used to analyse the sensitivity of donors to two benefits provided by the state, these benefits are either a paid working day-off on the day of donation or the possibility of deduction of 2000 CZK from one's taxable income for each donation.

The knowledge and atttitude of mothers to vaccination in Czech Republic in the multiresources system
Myrdacz, Martin ; Vlček, Jiří (advisor) ; Beran, Jiří (referee)
The childhood vaccination in the Czech Republic represents a very complex area. While the current legislation defines which children vaccinations belong under mandatory, fully reimbursed National Immunisation Program (NIP), there are also possibilities to undergo vaccination as a result of own decision. The role of the State as the only guarantee and payer of children vaccination has been, due to registration of next vaccines, extended by subjects who use opportunity to vaccinate against additional infections diseases and consequently pay for it. Nowadays, financially, non-reimbursed vaccination doubles NIP vaccination reimbursed by the state. Almost 350 million CZK was spent in 2008 on vaccination against human papillomavirus (HPV). That represents the most paid non-mandatory vaccination. National-wide Research amongst mothers of children up to five years of age performed in 2008 showed high confidence in the benefit of vaccination when only 4% of the mothers are in contradiction with this statement. Nevertheless, the research also unveiled need for more information as 28 % of the mothers think that children are receiving more vaccination than is good for them. More than 50% of them would also welcome a next vaccination to be added into the current NIP system. Such evolution is likely to happen in...

Design of Measurement Net
Krajčír, Róbert ; Drexler, Petr (referee) ; Kadlec, Radim (advisor)
This thesis deals with transfer of measured data from sensors placed on pulse power generator for long distances in areas with strong outer interference. Main goal is to design fast and reliable network. Therefore some basic transfer methods, which are available for usage, are analyzed. Regarding to the characteristics of these methods, the most suitable option was chosen, which is analog fiber optic link. In the next phase, the concept of the network itself is dealt with, including analysis and choice from variety of modulation techniques, transmitters and recievers and their characteristics. Variety of drive and amplifier circuits are also mentioned, with emphasis on their influence on transfer and noise attributes and available bandwidth. Based on theoretical analysis and component pros discovered, exact parts are chosen and complete concept of the network is established, including auxiliary circuits. According to this concept printed circuit boards for both transmitter and reciever are made and tested.

The analysis of investment certificates traded on the Czech market
Rychtaříková, Jana ; Radová, Jarmila (advisor) ; Dobrovolný, Marek (referee)
This thesis deals with investment certificates traded on the Czech stock exchange. Firstly, the thesis introduces characteristic of basic types of investment certificates focusing on the certificates traded in the Czech Republic. The elementary features of their functions and their relations to the underlying assets are described. The profitability of each type of certificate is represented in the diagram for better comprehension. In the practical part, the investment certificates quoted on the Prague Stock Exchange are presented providing key characteristics as issue date, maturity date, issuer, subscription ratio and underlying asset. The last chapter is devoted to the profitability of particular certificates in comparison with each other and with alternative investment in underlying assets. Past experience with already paid certificates is also mentioned.

The Role of Information and Communication in Organisations. Diagnostic Tools of Informatiopn and Communication Processes
Sluková, Petra Zia ; Papík, Richard (advisor) ; Basl, Josef (referee) ; Vlasák, Rudolf (referee)
The Role of Information and Communication in Organisations Diagnostic Tools of Information and Communication Processes The thesis has the objective to explore the interaction of the terms information and communication in organizational settings, and to identify their common characteristics and direct mutual influence. By introducing settings with open and closed communication climates, and diagnostic tools of communication and information audits, the author highlights the mutual overlap of these terms. The first part of the thesis provides an introduction into the theoretical terms information and communication as used in the historical context of their mother disciplines, identifies their similarities and differences, and, most importantly, highlights the long-term intense overlap of these terms at various levels. The second part goes on to introduce the basic forms of organizational structures affecting information transfer, i.e. direction, speed and accuracy of formal and informal information flows in organizational communication networks. The concept of information is brought into context with communication climate which has a direct influence on its form, quantity, quality and timeliness. When characterizing the most frequently used communication diagnosis tools falling into the category of...

Design of sound reinforcement system
Košarišťan, Miroslav ; Hruboš, Zdeněk (referee) ; Brančík, Lubomír (advisor)
This Master´s thesis deals with sound apparatus. The first part is a theoretical explanation of the main part of the equipment, such as microphones, amplifiers, proofreaders, switches and speakers. Another section is devoted to the design itself, starting with the block diagram which is followed by the design of single important parts. These are made as PCB. For select-ed diagrams there is an example of PSpice program simulations and the measurement of important characteristics. The essential part of the work also addresses constructional pro-cessing of apparatus. At the end of this thesis some examples of the PCB are introduced.

Romany community in Vsetin
Růžičková, Alena ; Sadílková, Helena (advisor) ; Červenka, Jan (referee)
The Bachelor Thesis Roma Community of Vsetín is concerned with migration of the Roma from Slovakia to Vsetín after WWII. It is particularly focused on the first two waves of migration. The first wave of Roma migration from Western Slovakia and the City of Košice was spontaneous and its main motivation was to find a stable and paid employment. This migration took place within an extended time span from 1945 until late 1950s. The second immigration wave was more vigorous; Roma families from a settlement near the village of Bystrany, in the district of Spišská Nová Ves, were resettled following the Government decision no. 502/1965. The thesis is concerned with the ideological concept of dispersion and it discusses the reasons of its failure. The thesis also outlines further development of the Roma community in Vsetín. Apart from written sources and the material provided by the District Archive, the author worked withthe methods of oral history. The text is supplemented with testimonies of Roma narrators, which were modified minimally and which provide an insight into their view of the recent past. Keywords Roma Community, Gipsy Population, District of Vsetín, Village Bystrany, Migration, Oral History
