The comparison of National Property Fund of the Czech Republic and Land Fund of the Czech Republic

The goal of this thesis is the comparison of selected areas of two transformation institucions in the Czech Republic, which are Land Fund of the Czech Republic and National Property Fund of the Czech Republic. In the introduction of the theoretical part, there will be characterized all the terms and definitions related to transformation changes. The thesis will describe the starting position and determinants of the transformation process of the Czech economy, resulting in characteristics of all the pillars of the transformation process in the Czech Republic. Also, there will be characterized all the transformation institutions and their role in the process of transformation. The practical part of the thesis will analyze the legal framework of both institutions of the transformation, then there will be processed the analysis of activities of both funds and their management. At the end of this section, there will be comparisons based on the analytical findings of previous chapters.

This bachelor thesis deals with the "The tourism industry of the Brno destination" and tries to characterize the tourism industry in this city. The offer of the tourism industry was presented, based on the theoretical knowledge, which as well as the evaluation of attendance of the mentioned destination, helped to specify different kinds of tourism in Brno. In the conclusion of this work documents, projects significant for the tourism development and institutions working in the tourism industry were presented.

Bachelor thesis Opposition in the GDR and its Connection to the Czech Dissent. Mutual Contacts at the Turn of 1970s and 1980s offers a new point of view on the oppositional movement in the German Democratic Republic (GDR) at the turn of the 1970s and 1980s, as it is based on the comparison with the oppositional movement in Czechoslovakian Socialistic Republic (CSSR). The work concentrates on the contacts between the representatives of the opposition from both countries and on the possible topics of their cross-border cooperation in the period between the Final Act of the Conference of Security and Cooperation in Europe in 1975 and the election of Mikhail Gorbachev as the leader of the Soviet Union in 1985. Although the traditions of the East German oppositional movement were different to the traditions of the opposition in the CSSR, there were intensive contacts between both groups (usually individual) at the turn of the 1970s and 1980s. One of the crucial topics of the East German oppositional movement was the question of peace. The space for moulding of the independent peace movement (and later also for other civic initiatives) was created under the protection of the East German protestant church, which was the only institution that was independent from the state structures. This masters thesis deals with the phenomena of corruption and its methods of measuring. The objective of this thesis was to fully analyze the problem of corruption, its types, causes and consequences. This work describes organizations that measure corruption and the methods of its measuring. Most of the methods are based on the soft data gained in opinion polls. That is why the aim of this thesis was to link Corruption Perception Index with the truly measurable data as world tax index and size of shadow economy. The main finding of the work is negative correlation between world tax index and CPI and positive correlation between size of shadow economy and CPI.

Last years sereval editions of documents, mem01r and monogpraphs apppeared dealing with the situation in the Soviet leadership. This theses summarize the research of these above- mentioned publications. In the postwar period thc rivalries betwecn individuals becamc more intense. The core group of lcaders that forrned around Stalin in thc 1920s (Molotov, Voroshilov, Kaganovich, Andreycv and Mikojan) was supplemcntcd by a younger gencration of lcaders after 193711938 (Malenkov, Beria, Bulganin, Khrushchev, Voznesentskiy). But the manner of Stalin's interaction with these subordinates also changed. At the cnd of war no tirne was lost in restoring the presař structure of Party and government. In Septernbcr 1945 the State Defense Cornrnittee was abolished and his autority distributed aminy the regular governmental organs. Into the power group belonged members of Politburo, Sckretariat and Presidiurn of govcrnment. In March 1946 at the first postwar plenum CPSU was elected the Politburo consisting of Stalin, Molotov, Voroshilov, Kaganovich, Mikojan, Andreev, Khrushchev, Zhdanov, Kalinin and new members Malenkov, Beria and four candidate mernbers Shvernik, Voznesenskiy, Bulganin and Kosygin. Analysis of selected indicators of activities and powers of central bank in our country since 1989

The issue of competences of central bank in monetary or foreign exchange policy, the optimal adjustment of regulation and supervision of financial market and also the necessary independence of this institution is subjected to intensive discussion at the present time economic policy. In the theoretical part I will define basic concepts and definitions relating to this issue. From a theoretical point of view I will describe the concept and function of central banking, the independence of central bank, its types and optimal settings. I will also characterize the regulation and supervision of financial markets with regard to the definitions, models, systems, objectives and instruments of this issue. I will define the basic theoretical aspects of monetary and foreign exchange policy. In the analytical part I will process an analysis of selected indicators of activities and powers of the central bank in our country since 1989, mainly from the independence of the central bank, setting of monetary policy, financial market supervision and foreign exchange policy. I will make a comparison of changes in the development and activities of central banks in these areas with regard to trends in the legislation and their powers. The aim of this thesis is to analyze the development of selected indicators of activity of the central bank in our country with a focus on the transformation of the Czech economy with a summary of significant changes.

Title: Attitudes of Russian Population to Winter Olympic Games in Sochi Objectives: The main objective of this thesis is to determine attitudes of Russian population and residents of Sochi to XXII Winter Olympic Games. Another objective is to show advantages and disadvantages of hosting the Olympic Games and also to make recommendations, which can be used by government and sport institutions while organizing big sports events. Methods: Quantitative sociological research was made for the purpose of this thesis. Research was implemented by written, electronic and oral questioning .Obtained statistics were processed and analyzed. The evaluation of the benefits of the cycling path within the Giant Mountains Region

The Final Thesis deals with the evaluation of the benefits of the Elbe Cycling Path within the Giant Mountains Tourist Region. The teoretical part is explaining the basic terms of cycling, describing the infrastructure necessary for this activity and also organizations and institutions active in this area. Within one separate chapter there is a description of the Elbe Cycling Path including it's history. The practical part is focusing on particular section of the cycling path between Elbe spring and Dvůr Králové nad Labem. It is based on the results of the qualitative and quantitative research, both undertaken on the Elbe Cycling Path. The benefits are evalueted according to the results of the research and some measures are proposed to use the potential of the path in better way.
