The role of NADPH oxidase and ros in invadopodia formation
Hanušová, Kristýna ; Vrbacký, Marek (referee) ; Brábek, Jan (advisor)
Invadopodia as specific organelles enabling tumour cells movement, spreading over the organism and ultimately formation of metastasis are possible and promising targets of tumour therapy. Recently, many interesting facts about assembly and mechanism of function of invadopodia were discovered. Invadopodia are centres of ECM degradation by extra-cellular proteases facilitating an invasion of tumour cells. For creation of invadopodia a precisely localized increased production of ROS is necessary. ROS work as crucial signalling molecules and participate in many processes resulting in invadopodia formation. ROS in tumour cells are produced by specific extra-mitochondrial NADPH oxidases (Nox). Several regulatory molecules participating in activation and localization of Nox to invadopodia have been discovered recently (Tks organizer proteins). Furthermore, a regulatory role of Src kinase in ROS production and subsequent invadopodia formation was confirmed. Key words: ECM degradation, invadopodia, invasion, proteases, Nox, ROS, Src kinase, Tks proteins

A comparison of copyright protection of authors and performing artists
Kryl, Pavel ; Holcová, Irena (referee) ; Křesťanová, Veronika (advisor)
According to the setting of my diploma I tried to compare rights of performing artists with competent rights of authors. The most suitable way to achieve this goal seemed to be progressive movement heading from particular issues and problems related with individual subjects of law to the general differences. In the first instance I divided the object matter into four main parts (sources of the law, concepts of law, moral and and economic rights and legal licences along with free uses). It was much easier to operate inside of the "borders" of these particular parts afterwards. In the first part related to sources of positive law the main difference rests in historical development. Legal rights of authors had been legalized long before anybody even mentioned competent rights for performing artists who performed their crafts. However it is necessary to regard very reasonable argument justifying this fact. Creative asset of the author craft is bigger than its performance therefore the position of the author is stronger and it is also necessary to protect him more strongly by law. It is obvious that many issues are set up only for authors than and that the mass of rules which governs rights of authors is much bigger and detailed. Main object of the second part was to explain the nature of concepts and...

Procházka, Tomáš ; Křiček, Jan (referee) ; Süss, Vladimír (advisor)
6 Abstract Title of work: Analysis of field hockey players'load in a match Aim: The aim of this thesis is to find out the load of field hockey players in a match and on the basis of laboratory tests to define threshold limits of heart frequencies together with topical condition of field hockey players. Method: To describe the movements of players the method of conditioned observation with no active participation was used. For heart beat frequency data acquisition electronic measuring of Polar RS400 spotters was used. For simple results a running belt load test was chosen. Results: Field hockey players move in different heart beat zones from lacrosse and rugby players. This thesis is serves as the confirmation of the average heart beat frequency given by textbooks. Key words: Field hockey, running belt load test, match analysis.

Kinská, Jana ; Šotolová, Jovanka (referee) ; Belisová, Šárka (advisor)
The aim of this thesis has been to create a comparative critical analysis of the two Czech translations of the French novel called Germinie Lacerteux by the Goncourt brothers, written in 1865. The first part of the thesis contains detailed information on the life and works of Edmond (1822 - 1896) and Jules de Goncourt (1830 - 1870) as well as an outline on a wider historical and literary context of their works, with a remark on their activities in other fields, such as art, literary criticism or history, as well as their legacy of the Goncourt Academy. Particular attention has been paid to their journal, Journal : mémoires de la vie littéraire, which, embracing 45 years (1851 - 1896), comprises their experience in the literary and art circles as well as other observations, and represents a valuable source illustrating their period. A position of the unique couple of writers in French realism is defined here and a particular stress is put on their pioneer role in the emerging naturalism. This movement was associated with specific methods of creations, mainly based on the collection of documents and notes from different social environments. This chapter is followed by a part dedicated to the reception of the novel analyzed in France, where its argot and depiction of the lowest classes met, on the one hand,...

Diploma work is about social problems of foreing workers in the Czech Republic. This phenomenon because of increasing migratory movements mostly economic motivated migrants it is going to be more important. This work tries to explain what social problems citizens of the third countries have. It is not deciding if they came to the Czech republic accord of thein own o rif they were forced to migration. In my dissertation thesis I tried to explicate the fundamental institutes of Islamic family law, according to modern and contemporary legislation in a number of Arab states. The family law is fairly exhaustively treated in the sacred book of Muslims, in Koran, albeit in a number of scattered passages, mostly in suras from Medinese period. These passages are defined with more precision by the prestigeous method of the interpretation of Koran, with so called taj<;ir and thanks to collected statements of the Prophet Muhammad and his companions, constituting the tradition, so called swma. And the modern and contemporary legislation is based rigid on it with some westernized elements. After a brief acquaintance comprehension of the personal statute in contemporary Near Eastern countries is described in detail. The next chapter contains the description of the sense of marriage in Islamic law in three aspects- legal, social and religious. It is a contract of civil law concluded by the bridegroom with the legal guardian of the bride, so called wali. After this I continue through the short characterization of conditions of the conclusion of the marriage, for example form and capacity, limitations to marry any person of the opposite sex, special time period cidda ... Contemporary Eucharistic Prayers of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church
Chytil, Petr ; Hradílek, Pavel (advisor) ; Kolář, Pavel (referee)
Liturgy of Farský from 1924 was a very modern and successful reform of liturgy in that historic period. Modified liturgy of Farský has been used in Czechoslovak Hussite Church up to now. Meanwhile liturgy underwent the essential development of liturgical studies and liturgical practices in western churches (2. Vatican council and the renewal movement in other churches). Liturgical renewal was inspired by old Christian patterns. Although Liturgy of Farský was revised several times, principal changes has not been done. Its revisions do not reach the quality of other renewal liturgies. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to compare the structure of contemporary Eucharistic liturgy of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church with old Christian patterns and also with an example of renewal Eucharistic liturgy in western churches. We focus on the structure of Eucharistic prayers and their context in liturgy. As the example of liturgical renewal of non-roman type is chosen contemporary anaphoras of the Anglican Church of Canada. Finally a model example of Eucharistic prayer with revised structure is proposed. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
