Framework for designing transfer function editors
Baron, Miroslav ; Krajíček, Václav (advisor) ; Horáček, Jan (referee)
There are many ways to define a transfer function for direct volume rendering (DVR). This thesis presents an universal system of transfer function editors which works also as framework for creating new types of these editors. Unified interface with proposed transfer function data structure gives us independency on used graphic engine and the possibility to work with more different editors at the same time. We can implement new technique for designing transfer function without the need of dealing with the graphic engine and we can add our new editor to this existing system in few well defined steps. We have also designed some interesting ways to define transfer function and we discuss their usefulness here.

Graphical Filters for the AGE Project
Novotný, Marek ; Ježek, Pavel (advisor) ; Kofroň, Jan (referee)
The goal of this thesis was to develop a set of libraries for the AGE project. The libraries implement common transform, convolution (both high and low frequency) and color lters. The libraries also include an implementation of one-dimensional panoramas of overlapping images. All of the functionality is designed to seamlessly fi t into the AGE project class structure. In order to present the main results of the thesis a simple graphical editor was created as part of the thesis. The editor supports generation of panoramas as well as application of all the implemented filters to bitmap and vector images.

Graphs and graphical communication
Klemová, Hana ; Šarounová, Alena (advisor) ; Boček, Leo (referee)
This text is dedicated to the teachers of not only math and natural sciences. I wanted to show the readers a general view on the problems of graphical imagery and thematic cartography. In the beginning of the text I mentioned a brief historical prologue. In the next part I desribed reasons of using graphs and their significancy for today's society. To know the ropes in classification of graphs by their types is a headstone of understanding the graphical imagery. Thematic cartography is one of the parts of graphical communication, which is often forgotten, even though we come across it daily. In the end of my work I presented samples of graph utilisation in a non-mathematical subjects of high school tuition.

A comprehensive audit of websites and their impact on the competitiveness of organizations which focus on selling bathroom products
Ezr, Tomáš ; Molnár, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Bičík, Petr (referee)
The main purpose of this thesis is an analysis of selected online stores which focus on selling bathroom products and equipment. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with basic aspects of web eshops in terms of technologies and trends. It is divided into the following parts: graphic design and web site design, visibility on the internet, SEO, communication - information, technical solutions, accessibility and eshop. These individual elements are the basis for creating an evaluation methodology, which will be used to assess selected eshops. The practical part contains its own assessment as a methodology. It evaluated a total of 11 selected eshops, one shop is assessed a detailed audit, it is a shop at www.bathshop.cz. Furthermore, all results are summarized and conclusions drawn from them, and recommendations. The main contribution of this thesis is a comprehensive comparison of selected eshops to eshop ww.bathshop.cz and making recommendations on the basis of the comparison.

Health and social strokes by pacients after acute myocardial infartion.
HAVLÍČEK, Robert
The clinical hallmark of acute myocardial infarction is chest pain, typically located in the substernal region or sometimes in the epigastrium which frequently radiates to the neck, left arm and left shoulder. Anginal equivalents such as dyspnoea and epigastric discomfort may also occur. The physical findings can include diaphoresis, pale cool skin, sinus tachycardia and sometimes hypotension. The objective of my thesis is to describe the health-social overall impact. I have been interested in acute myocardial infarction problems since my first education as a rescuer. I used the method of classificatory frequency analysis of documents, comparing and analogy results each other. The main task was to show how the people live after acute myocardial infarction, if they are able to work or not. Graphical analysis shows patient{\crq}s social anamnesis, productivity, gender ratio and etc. Sample for analysis forms 109 patients, from that 16 forms employment history results, which are made separate.

Commented translation: Petit atlas des especes menacées (Yves Sciama, Petite encyclopédie Larousse, Paris 2003, str. 96-119)
Sýkorová, Eliška ; Belisová, Šárka (advisor) ; Šotolová, Jovanka (referee)
This translation bachelor thesis consists of a practical and a theoretical part. The practical part is the translation of a chosen chapter from the book Petit Atlas des Espces Menacées, written by a French biologist and publicist Yves Sciama. The theoretical one is a commentary on the translation which engages in analysis of the original text - it studies the character of the author, the intended reader, the edition in which the book was released, etc. Next the commentary describes the typology of translational problems on the lexical, syntactic, stylistic, grammatical, and text level. It is followed by a discussion over the method of translation and characteristics of the used translational techniques (transposition, modulation, concentration) supported by concrete examples. It is concluded by a description of graphical design of the text.

Gluten-free diet in the training of students from hotel school and apprenticeship cook-waiter.
VRZALOVÁ, Radka
Gluten-free diet is a concept inflected in the media in recent years very often. This thesis is devoted to exploring whether and how the theme of "gluten-free diet" is put in theoretical and practical training for students and trainees of Secondary School and Higher Vocational School of Tourism (Vyšší odborné školy cestovního ruchu) in České Budějovice, subjects focused on gastronomy. The theoretical part focuses on the explanation of celiac disease, gluten-free meals, legislation dealing with the labeling of allergens (gluten). There are also discussed the eating problems of patients with gluten-free diet in restaurants and canteens. In the practical part there search has been conducted to determine how students are familiarized with this theme, what knowledge they have and whether they can use it in practice. The survey was conducted through a question naire survey, observation in the lessons and the analysis of used literature. Graphic design with commentaries was chosen to evaluate the qualitative survey questionnaires.

Diagnosis warming selected parts of an electric machine
Prezbruchý, Martin ; Skalka, Miroslav (referee) ; Veselka, František (advisor)
This work is describing warming parts of an electric machine. In the first part, it is describing heat and temperature, its origin and radiation. Work is carrying on with the problems of heat origin in electric machines and in selected parts of an it. In the next part, the work is describing measurment and devides it in contact and contactless. The third part is dealing with electric machines and considers commutator motors. Work continues with practical part, which describes measurments on selected electric machine, includes calculations and graphs. After this part, work is dealing with temperature allocation in graphic interface and describes a 3D model production. In the conclusion, it is evaluating the measurment achievements and comparing the results of various used metods.
