Czech socialistic advertisement in the first half of 80s
Kvasnicová, Sandra ; Halada, Jan (advisor) ; Vošahlíková, Pavla (referee)
Diploma thesis "Czech Socialistic Advertising in the First Half of 1980s"deals with advertising (or propagation) industry in socialistic Czechoslovakia. The advertising of this age had different signs than commercials we know now. The commercials were quite specific, thanks to the centrally planned economy and no competitive environment. There were no classic supply - demand market, therefore the commercials and advertising itself were made to increase the product's awareness, often because of its surplus. Not to differ it from similar ones. The socialistic advertising, apart from offering products, had to educate the Czechoslovakian population to think both in state and ideological way. The main part of this work deals with ideological theories of propagation and to the process of creating such commercials. Quite a strong role played promotion companies, such as Rapid, Merkur or ČTK-Made in Publicity. Important part of the bachelor thesis is a television propagation symbolized by legendary character called Pan Vajíčko (Mister Egg).

Is it myself in the mirror?
Radová, Vlasta ; Levínská, Markéta (advisor) ; Doubek, David (referee)
in English A beautiful and healthy body now indicates a happy and contented life, and that is why our society is so obsessed by it. It was transformed into a commercial object, and the borders to which we can manipulate with it are pushed even further. At the same time, many people realize the necessity of cooperation with the body in order to reach a physical and mental health. Voices are heard calling for prevention of exploitation of human bodies and against the lowering of human dignity. We can see showing up different kinds of oriental philosophy, psychosomatic medicine or psychoterapeutic approaches targeted at the body, which are trying to outweigh the trends treating the body as a mere commodity. In spite of those efforts, the number of people with impaired perception and experiencing of their own body is still growing. The most frequent and most discussed are the eating disorders, which endanger seriously all aspects of a person's life. Most of the disorders will develop during adolescence, and that is why in my research I focused on the mapping of corporal experience of young people. In my work I employed the grounded theory method, or a qualitative research. The main research method used is semi-structured interview. The theoretical part consists of a philosophical historical and social...

Old Testament Conotations of Sermon on the Mount (according to Matthew)
Cejp, Tomáš ; Mrázek, Jiří (advisor) ; Dus, Jan (referee)
A thesis on "New Testament" Theology is aimed to search for the continuity with "Old Testament". A subject of the thesis is so called Sermon on the Mount which is recorded in Matthew 5-7. First, it was necessary to clarify what was considered as a Bible at the time of so called "New Testament" era since canonisation of scripture was not fixed by the Jewish authorities yet. Though, a written version of some of the books was already approved, there was a difference between the text of the Bible which was valid for the Jews living in Palestine and the one which was valid for the Greek speaking Jews in Diaspora. The Bible (also known by the acronym Tanakh) was composed by Torah (five books of Moses), Nevi'im (Prophets), and Ktuvim (Writings). For a sake of the thesis it was important to try to identify how was the Bible perceived by Jesus himself and then, to compare his perceiving with what we understand as an "Old Testament" today. Jesus's teaching - which we learned from the gospells - refered also as a rabbinic teaching to "oral Torah" and to the other sources as well. Several commentaries of Czech, non-Czech and also some Jewish schollars were used for analysis and were combined with a comparative study of "Sermon on the Mount" and Christian "Old Testament" by its content and its language. It has been...

Legal aspects of real estate leasing, comparison with the legal regulation in F.R. of Germany
Kostková, Kateřina ; Novotný, Petr (advisor) ; Vondráčková, Pavlína (referee)
91 6 ZÁVĚR Leasing nemovitostí dnes bezpochyby patří k zásadním a nezastupitelným instrumentům financování především v soukromoprávní sféře.

Nature conservation, farming and quality of life of human population in protected areas in connection with historical and cultural aspects - case study of the Třeboň Biosphere Reserve and Landscape Protected Area
ŠIFTOVÁ, Barbora
The dissertation deals with the conflict between economic growth in the Třeboňsko region, the requirements of the local population in regards to quality of life, and the preservation of biodiversity. The introduction is dedicated to explaining and approximating the topic and to emphasising its significance. A detailed literary research study presents a part of the work, with the title ?PLP Třeboňsko ? issues of biodiversity, economic growth and human habitation?. Also tackled here is the question of the development of tourism and general recreational activities in the area. The body of the dissertation is appropriated to research on the ground amongst the population of the PLP and an evaluation of the results of this investigation. The conclusion of the work specifies particular problems facing the area (conflicts between development projects and the agenda of the PLP administration), which are currently being handled or are likely to in the foreseeable future, and also presents suggestions as to how they may be solved or prevented. The result of the dissertation is the realisation that the region of PLP Třeboňsko has the potential to retain its contemporary natural and scenic value into the future. Statemandated institutions must however fulfil their legally binding roles and functions without exception. It is necessary to prioritise the resolution of such basic transgressions as is failure to uphold the ordinance of an administrative authority. According to the testimony of the local population, these are nowadays taking place in the PLP and are not subject to due recourse. It is imperative that the sentiment of environmental protection reach out to a majority of the local population in the future. It is a duty and obligation of the administration of the PLP, the Environmental Protection Unions, charitable organisations and erudite individuals, to ensure that the general public have sufficient access to scientifically accurate information. The answers of individual respondents further revealed a general feeling of alienation towards the current state of society in the Czech Republic. The aim of this dissertation is to highlight the fact that even relatively educated individuals struggle to find their bearings among the issues of environmental protection and landscape preservation. This, I believe, should be a future aim of change. If, as a result of the findings published here, at least one case of increased public interest in a concrete environmental protection issue arises and, consequently, the issue is purposefully and sensibly resolved, then this dissertation was meaningful and, from my perspective, fulfilled its purpose.
