The imposition of the sentence pursue the protection of the society from the offenders and to prevent the convicted from continuation in criminal activity as well as to bring him up to live impeccably. It performs repressive and preventive function, and operates educationally on other members of society. The thesis is focused on application of Balanced Scorecard in Federal Express Czech. BSC is a management tool, A performance metric used in strategic management to identify and improve various internal functions and their resulting external outcomes. BSC is a way of: measuring of companie's succes, balancing long-term and short-term actions and balancing different measures of success -- financial, customer, internal operations, human resource system & Development (learning and growth) The theoretical part is focused on introducing of BSC and includes strategic analysis. The practical part is devoted to the strategy of the parent company and its relation to the company in Czech Republic. First of all, an analysis of the company financial performance and the strategic analysis were executed and then strengths and weaknesses have been defined by SWOT analysis. The most important part is the actual implementation of the BSC. This implementation consists in assigning corporate strategic goals and their indicators of success for individual perspectives of BSC. The coherence and the causality of the corporate strategic goals clearly show the strategic map. The shortcomings of the Czech Federal Express and proposal for their solution are described in the conclusion..

The Gospel of Mark and an anthic tragedy

This essay (Mark`s gospel and antique tragedy) concerns the stylistic quality of Mark`s gospel. First it generally compares antique genres with Mark`s gospel and briefly enumerates the correspondences and the divergences. It will come to the conclusion that Mark`s gospel has the most common elements with a greek tragedy. That for at first it compares religious and sociological function of a tragedy and gospel. When some of these functions will have found, the essay will concentrate on requirements of tragedy production, especially these included in Aris totel`s Poetic. In the analysis of Mark`s Prolog of gospel we are going to show also the other dramatic functions and narativ strategies, which are typical for Mark. In the framework of modern literary critique the essey continues with analysis of narativ function of characters and other dramatic tools. Practical part deal with family from two standpoints, then by two researchs. Evidences, research sighting and processing casuistries concrete case, how important are also ever so little changes in those social group and how often they may alter allowance interaction. Second research in form questionnaire method to us outlines contemporary situation know - how parents in modern educational styles and their practise behaviour to babies.

The influence of depression on cognitive functions in the remission period. What changes can be observed in cognitive functions during the course of mood improvement until the remission period?

The aim of this study is to summarize a research on cognitive functions and depressive disorder with focus on the remission period and to map, on this background, using a longitudinal design, changes in cognitive performance of the depressive patients during the course of mood improvement until the remission period. We set together a test battery consisting of two cognitive functions measures (AVLT, Letter-number sequencing), two mood rating instruments (BDI, MADRS) and two additional questionnaires (Unfavourable-events questionnaire and Social support Survey - MOS). We included an interview, as well. The research took place in Prague psychiatric centre. The sample consisted of 10 inpatients with unipolar depressive disorder according to ICD-10. 4 of the patients were excluded - 2 of them for deeper mood impairment and other 2 for early discharge from the clinic. Only 2 of the remaining 6 patients achieved remission. We present their case studies in this thesis. The conclusion of this study is that the image of cognitive performance in depressed patients can be various. All patients experienced subjective cognitive performance impairment and work ability impairment. Ensuring the Airways and Care about them in Intensive Care Setting

Breathing is one of the basic life functions together with consciousness and blood circulation. Ensuring of patient's airways clearness is the primary action to save human life. It determines patient's chance to survive and success of his subsequent treatment frequently. Consecutive care for patients with secured airways is absolutely axiomatic. It is the prerequisite for subsequent adequate treatment. Without that there would be likely development of serious complications. The main goal of my thesis was to explore the ability of nurses at the Anesthesiology Intensive Care / ICU to take care of patient's airways properly and their knowledge of airway management instruments. In my thesis I used method of quantitative research. Data collection was conducted by using method of interview and technique of anonymous questionnaire which consisted of 21 questions. Four hypotheses were set: Hypothesis #1: Nurses at the Anesthesiology Intensive Care / ICU use closed exhaustion system in most cases. The hypothesis was confirmed. Hypothesis #2: Nurses at the Anesthesiology Intensive Care / ICU are able to perform airway management properly. The hypothesis was confirmed. This bachelor’s thesis deals with design and realization of measuring program for measuring EC motor per development environment LabVIEW. The thesis provides short introduction to the LabVIEW environment, shows potential of FPGA and of its use on the CompactRIO platform. It describes methodology of measurement and mentions application possibilities of this platform to the LabVIEW environment. Further, the thesis deals with sorting types, construction and function of EC motor. It mentions eventual problems, which can appear during the solving of measuring program, describes from basics the creation of the program and explains all function of all program parts.

Music as a Value of Human's life

The thesis considers an issue of the value of music in a human life. In the theoretical section the author interprets the term music and its roles in human life using available literature. Moreover, she focuses on the influence of a music on human psyche, in context of emotions, thinking, fantasy and motivation. The author also deals with the description of musical development of a personality. The author is also attentive to issues of values and value orientation in a human life. In the empirical section the author works with three groups of respondents; namely, with active musicians (i. e. playing a musical instrument or singing). She included professional musicians (group of students of music) and amateur musicians (group of working people with a musical hobby and a group of university students with a musical hobby). There are 33 respondents in the sample aged from 20 to 30. The comparison of these groups is based on the method of halfstructured interview. Issues of the development of musical activities and influences that mattered in this development, a motivation to musical activities, an influence of musical activity on personal life of the respondents (especially in context of relationships), a value and function of a music in an overall value orientation of respondents are compared.
