The emphasis was put on the development of the real estate record and the current state of the land registry - what is recorded, who is it administred by, what legislation is it based on, all with special regard to practical functioning of the land registry. The first property register was is dated in the year 1022. It was introduced for the tax purposes by the duke Oldřich. Till nowadays many changes were made. In the past, land registery was run by court, however, today the control is performed by administrative authority, i.e. Land registry office.Courts are independent administrative bodies, holding the function of arbitrator in disputes. Hejl, Pavel ; Procházková, Eva (advisor) ; Štefko, Martin (referee)
- Alternative Collective Dispute Resolution (mediation and arbitration) The goal of my thesis is to describe and analyze the methods of resolution of collective disputes arising between the partners of a social dialog in execution of collective agreements and in the fulfillment of the respective obligations. Acting Czech legislation regulates the proceedings before a mediator and an arbitration procedure. The very fact that such topic complies the two areas of law in which I am interested was on of the main motives for my selection of this topic as my diploma thesis. My thesis is composed of six chapters, each of them dealing with different aspects of topic mentioned above. Introductory chapter one, which puts the reader into the problematic questions and defines basic terminology used in thesis is followed by Chapter Two dealing with general conception of collective Labor law and its classification in Labor law system. This chapter also contains examination of relevant Czech legislation. Aim of Chapter Three is to describe the terminology of Collective Labor-law relationships, their parties and subject. Chapter is subdivided into three parts. Part One looks at trade unions, Part Two describes tasks of employer in Collective relationship. Part Three illustrates subject of this relationships....

Global Development Education in the Czech Republic from the NGO's point of view
Antošová, Petra ; Moree, Dana (advisor) ; Muhič Dizdarevič, Selma (referee)
Primary aim of this thesis is to introduce the concept of global development education and map non-governmental organizations (NGOs) that are active in this field in the Czech Republic. Because the concept is still new, my goal was to find out how is it perceived by those who are putting it into practice, representatives of NGOs. Global development education touches topics that are paid attention on international as well as national levels more and more these days. It brings up to discussion global issues that are concern of each of us in some respect (word trade, globalization, climatic change, development countries, poverty etc.). The importance of the mentioned topics is reflected in new law that was introduced by The Czech Ministry of Education in 2004. It brings more freedom to schools in preparation of their educational programs; on the other hand, it catches them unprepared. NGOs which are more experienced and have direct contact with the field work are becoming sought-after partners for schools. Apart from know how and experience from developing countries, they are also bringing new methods and tools. The NGOs view themselves as the ones who have the ability to press the global issues through to educational system. They are also capable of motivating and activating of the target groups and offering...

Franchising as the method of market entering
Koreňová, Hana ; Turnerová, Lenka (advisor) ; Grossová, Petra (referee)
My Bachelor thesis analyzes franchising as the method of market entering. The analysis consists of two parts, theoretical and practical. The forms of expansion to the foreign markets are defined, while the accent is put on the franchising. SUBWAY, one of the world's most successful franchise companies, is taken to show how the concept operates. I tried to point out the problems which a young company must face in Czech Republic, find out the strengths and weaknesses of the concept, suggest the solutions to better the company's market place, having applied an enquiry and SWOT analysis. Using the SUBWAY concept, I think I have managed to demonstrate that franchising can be successfully used for foreign trade expansion at certain circumstances.

Trade mark law and the issue of parallel imports in Czech, EU and US law
Vávrová, Lenka ; Dobřichovský, Tomáš (advisor) ; Císařová, Zuzana (referee)
100 Parallel importation and trademark law in the Czech Republic, EU and USA Parallel imports are a non-counterfeit (genuine) goods, bearing a trademark, intended for sale in one country, but instead put on market without the consent of the trademark owner in another country. The price of parallelly imported good is actually lower than the price of the authorized good, due to several factors: currency exchange rates, laws, taxes, logistical expenditures etc. It is not only the price, but also other features of the merchandise, such as the appearance, required characteristics and customer safety measures that differ from the ones of the authorized goods. Such differences may damage the goodwill consumers associate with the trademark. Trademarks are protected dependently on national laws, therefore different countries address the issue differently. There is no international treaty that would solve the problem of parallel importation on international level. No consent has ever been unanimously reached. The issue of parallel importation is closely connected to the doctrine of exhaustion. Various countries apply national exhaustion whereas others apply international/global one. European Union developed specific type of regional exhaustion which means that once a trademark owner sells a good bearing the mark...

Comparison of legal regulation of the trade relationships of obligation in Germany and the Czech Republic
Přecechtělová, Jana ; Kotoučová, Jiřina (advisor) ; Švarc, Zbyněk (referee)
This Master thesis deals with the comparison of trade relationships of obligation in Germany and the Czech Republic. In order to introduce and analyse the topic thoroughly at first the main legal acts connected with relationships of obligation and trade relationships of obligations in both compared countries are being introduced. The main stress is put on the content of these legal acts, on their historical development, their application methods as well as on their mutual relationship. The next part of this Master thesis then explains the term trade relationship of obligation with respect to the definitions obtained in both compared legal systems. After the theoretical introduction the general legal regulation of the trade relationships of obligation is being characterised. Since the general legal regulation of the trade relationships of obligation is based on the general legal regulation of the relationships of obligation at first the differences between these two legal regulations in Germany are explained. After that the German general legal regulation of trade relationships of obligation is being compared with the Czech general legal regulation of this area. After the characterisation of the general legal regulation of the trade relationships of obligation the individual types of German trade relationships of obligation are being compared with their equivalents in the Czech legal system. The specific trade relationships of obligation that are being analysed and compared in both legal systems are namely contract with a commission agent, contract of consignment, forwarding contract and storage contract.

Höferová, Jana ; Zlatohlávek, Martin (advisor) ; Pučalík, Marek (referee)
Return to Pure Baroque. The State of the Church of St. Margaret in Jaromerice nad Rokytnou after General Overhall Reconstruction This thesis is focused on the course of the overall reconstruction of the Baroque church of St. Margaret in Jaromerice nad Rokytnou, underlining dicretion of its execution. What matters, are not just the reconstruction works but renovation of the whole image as the interior's one as the exteriors one, which was by its end evaluated by The National Heritage Instituon as pure Baroque. Firstly, for better understanding of the situation and introducing a reader into a relationship with fine Baroque architecture and decoration, a brief history of the town, the church as well as Questenberk's ancestry, who put an effort in the Baroque reconstruction of the church and the Jaromerice's castle as well, is described. In conclusion, one can get known how the church looks like nowadays and who a dean, Fr. Václav Kuchler, who initiated the general reconstruction and thus preserved the church from destruction, was. Consequently, there are some false facts, again and again repeated in previous sources, shown on light. BAROQUE CHURCH ARCHITECT ARTWORK RESTAURATION

Basic facts concerning extreme supermodular functions
Studený, Milan
Elementary facts and observations on the cone of supermodular set functions are recalled. The manuscript deals with such operations with set functions which preserve supermodularity\nand the emphasis is put on those such operations which even preserve extremality (of a supermodular function). These involve a few self-transformations of the cone of supermodular set functions. Moreover, projections to the (less-dimensional) linear space of set functions for a subset of the variable set are discussed. Finally, several extensions to the (more-dimensional) linear space of set functions for a superset of the variable set are shown to be both preserving supermodularity and extremality.
