Use of Educational Projects in Care of Diabetics

The topic of my thesis is {\clqq}Application of education plans to care of diabetics``. Diabetes mellitus is a disease characterized by a disorder of metabolism of sugars, but also proteins and fats, which leads to increased glycaemia and glycosuria. Education is understood as guiding to independent coping with diabetes and better cooperation with medical staff. It is an inevitable and irreplaceable part of successful diabetes treatment. The thesis is aimed at mapping application of educational plans to care of diabetics. The thesis has a theoretical and a research parts. The theoretical part deals with information on diabetes mellitus, education in general and its specifics for diabetics. The research part involves a quantitative data collection method, namely observation and semi standardized interview. The research took place in a diabetology centre and in a diabetologist{\crq}s office. 10 diabetics, 6 men and 4 women participated. The observation was performed during a diabetic{\crq}s visit to a diabetologist{\crq}s office and involved 18 points divided into 7 areas aimed at the education process phase, education implementation form, education forms, diabetic{\crq}s theoretical and practical skills, educational environment and others. Interviews were performed after the medical consultations. The interview contained 37 questions, 18 of which offered choice of reply and possibility to ask an additional question. The remaining 19 questions were open. The interview questions focused on treatment regime, satisfaction, knowledge and skills of diabetics. The first goal was to find out how education benefits a diabetic. The second goal was to map whether diabetics can use the obtained information and skills in their everyday life. The third goal was to learn about educational forms and methods used by the diabetologist and in the diabetology centre. The fourth goal was to create an educational plan and test it in practice. The goals of the thesis were met. All the research questions were answered. The research part thus shows that education is beneficial for diabetics, they apply the obtained information and skills to their lives, the educational methods and forms are identical in the diabetology centre and at the diabetologist. The thesis may be utilized as evaluation of effectiveness of education performed for diabetics and the basic content of diabetes mellitus and education.

"Democratization of mass media" - influence penetration amateur contributions to traditional media

Cílem diplomové práce je charakterizovat současný stav a podobu masmédií s přihlédnutím na jejich rostoucí demokratizaci. Autor sleduje a popisuje stále výraznější pronikání amatérů do tradičních médií, které se děje prostřednictvím nových internetových médií jako jsou weblogy nebo online video. Při zkoumání problematiky weblogů autor částečně navazuje na vlastní bakalářskou práci "Weblog jako novodobý elektronický informační zdroj". Diplomová práce je rozdělena do tří hlavních částí. První část Tradiční média se zabývá klasickými médii - tiskem, rozhlasem a televizí. Druhá a nejrozsáhlejší část Novodobá internetová média sleduje nové formy multimediální komunikace, které s sebou přináší rozvoj internetu. Je rozčleněna na čtyři kapitoly popisující weblogy, online video, sociální sítě a wiki systémy. V třetí části Demokratizace masmédií autor hodnotí aktuální trendy v oblasti masmédií, věnuje se zvýšené aktivitě uživatelů a zabývá se také problematikou cenzury médií.

The evaluation problems at school

Tato práce si klade za cíl zmapování problematiky hodnocení ve škole se zaměřením na motivační funkci hodnocení. Teoretická část práce je věnována hodnocení obecně. Zaměřuje se na cíle hodnocení, na formy jejich dosažení, dopad hodnocení na osobnost žáka a utváření sebepojetí, dále na chyby v hodnocení např. nálepkování, naučenou bezmocnost, . . . Zvlášť se práce zaměřuje na analýzu motivační funkce hodnocení. Empirická část práce se zaměřuje na formu převažující motivace a na podílu sebehodnocení žáka v současné škole. Tato část je realizována prostřednictvím dílčí výzkumné sondy. Cílem této sondy je potvrdit či vyvrátit stanovenou hypotézu, která čerpá z teoretické analýzy problematiky školního hodnocení.

Privatizace a její varianty řešení na příkladu velkého průmyslového podniku

Ve své bakalářské práci se zabývám některými aspekty transformace české ekonomiky, převážně týkající se privatizace státního majetku. Práce je rozdělena do tří částí. V první, teoretické části, jsem stručně nadefinovala základní termíny, které souvisí s transformací české ekonomiky. Jedná se zejména o teorie z institucionální ekonomie. Ve druhé části práce popisuji průběh privatizace v Československé republice. Zaměřuji se zde také na kupónovou privatizaci. V poslední výzkumné části jsem se zaměřila na jeden z nejvýznamnějších podniků na Uhersko-Hradišťském okrese, a to na podnik LET Kunovice. V této části práce ukazuji různé formy privatizace na podniku LET Kunovice, hodnotím jeho nástupnické firmy a také doporučuji další vývoj tohoto podniku.

Specifikace a kritické faktory zavedení e-learningového systému

Stěžejní částí práce je specifikace zavedení a nadefinování hlavních CSF zavedení e-learningového systému. Práce reaguje na chybný trend chápat úspěšné zavedení e-learningového systému jako úspěšnou instalaci systému LMS. Teoretická část práce definuje termíny a souvislosti důležité pro pochopení principu elektronické formy vzdělávání, aktuální e-learningové trendy a standardy IMS a SCORM. V praktické části jsou diskutovány požadavky na e-learningové systémy, role rozhodující o zavedení, analýza vzdělávacích potřeb, umístění systému, integrace s ostatními systémy a pilotní nasazení. Hlavním přínosem práce je definice CSF zavedení systému, konkrétně definice cílů, motivace uživatelů, funkčnost a dostupnost, komunikace, kontrola výuky a zpětná vazba během vzdělávacího procesu.

The Quality of Life of a Full-Time Health Education Students , Faculty of Education, University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice.

The bachelor thesis ?The Quality of Life of Full-Time Health Education Students? at Faculty of Education, University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice is in its theoretical part primarily focused on the definition of the concept of health, quality of life and lifestyle of contemporary people. It deals with evaluation of quality of life and approaches to investigation of the quality of life. The next chapters are devoted to characteristics of adulthood, especially the period of young adulthood. It concentrates on the development of cognitive processes, attitudes towards standards and socialization in this phase of life. In the empirical part I set the goal to evaluate the quality of life of students of Health Education program. The research was done by survey with the help of questionnaire WHOQOL ? BREF and couple of my own questions. What I evaluated from the results of this survey is that most of the students are in a good state of health and 93, 2% of them are satisfied with their health and environment in which they live. 97, 2% of respondents find their quality of life quite good or even very good. It was clear from the answers of the last part of the questionnaire that more than half of respondents live by the rules of healthy lifestyle, or they at least try to. The final part of my thesis holds the answers to my goals and the research questions. After comparing the results of all three grades I came to a conclusion that students of second grade were the most affected by the program ?Health Education?, and the influence was positive. The results are an interesting probe to the life of students attending a relatively young program "Health Education".

Violence towards the elderly regarded by medical workers

97 Title: Violence towards the Elderly Regarded by Medical Workers Key words: elderly people, violence, abuse, Elder Abuse and Neglect (EAN), cruelty, neglect, medical workers, support, This Bachelor thesis whose title is "Violence towards the Elderly Regarded by Medical Workers" is aimed in its theoretical part at the issues of elder cruelty and abuse. This part describes individual forms of violence, highlighting the difficult situation of an abused old person. Substantial part of the thesis is focused on medical workers and their opportunities how they can help the abused elderly. In its research part, the Bachelor thesis seeks to determine the level of medical workers awareness of elderly abuse indications using a quantitative research, offering some possible solutions of this problem. Tested sample included medical workers, such as certified nurse - 56 persons, attendant - 6 persons, and medical orderly - 16 persons. The research has been performed in two medical facilities in the Czech Republic. The survey results showed how many medical workers during their practice met with abused senior. Whether paramedics can identify an abused elderly person and know how to act in such case. Institutions for Leisure Time Spending of the Youth up to the age 18

The diploma thesis deals with the institutions for leisure time in the capital city of the Czech republic. This is a House of children and youth, whose founded by the capital city of Prague.The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and part of the research. In the first part of the thesis is defined by the concept, development and function of leisure time and different views on leisure time. Is indicated here, what does the pedagogy of leisure time mean. A large section is devoted to institutions and institutions for leisure time. Defined forms of institutions for leisure time activities and their functioning. In the theoretical part is explained what is meant by universal institutional structure, which is an important basis for institutional analysis in the research section. The research part of the thesis deals with the characteristics all the information about the House Children and Youth in Prague 7. The most important part of the research is the analysis of the institutional follow-up to the House of children and youth. The aim is to assess whether and the extent to which the institution carries out its percent of the mission. In the final discussion summarizes the recommendations that could lead to improve the operation of the institution.
