Systemic psychotherapy in theory and practice on becoming a psychotherapist
Novotná, Nora ; Junková, Vendula (referee) ; Štětovská, Iva (advisor)
The thesis investigates the process of becoming a psychotherapist in the context of systemic therapy. It outlines philosophical and psychotherapeutic roots of the systemic approach, emphasizing postmodern thinking, in particular poststructuralism, radical and social constructivism and modern biological gnoseology. The work discusses theoretical foundations as well as practical applications of the teaching of the Prague Institute for Systemic Therapy (IST). It covers five main lines of thoughts in systemic thinking - the Milan school of family therapy, strategic therapy by Milton Erickson, brief solution-focused therapy (BSFT), Hamburg school and the narrative approach. The work focuses on defining and delineating the role of the therapist and the client, and their cooperation in the therapeutic dialogue. It emphasizes therapist's self-reflection during the therapeutic process as the primary way of influencing the client, and it discusses models which make the self-reflection more efficient. The art of dialogue is presented as the fundamental skill of a systemic therapist. Last but not least, the work covers an important area of systemic ethics and supervision. The empirical part of the work investigates, using the qualitative based interview, the process of becoming a therapist on a sample of 19...

Public attitude to abused women as victims of home violence in the South Bohemian Region
BEDLÁNOVÁ, Marta
A goal of the research part of my bachelor thesis was to find out what is an awareness of lay and professional public of women as victims of the domestic violence in the South Bohemian Region. Because I live in the South Bohemian Region, I focused the research just on this locality. I was especially interested in the fact, if people living in the South Bohemian Region are influenced by certain prejudices and stereotypes and whether they are sufficiently informed about the problem of the domestic violence. For the reason of a big number of respondents I chose an empirical method of the investigation {--} a quantitative research. To get necessary data I used a questionnaire method or the standardized set of question with an anonymous course. From summarized results of the research I concluded, that neither lay public nor professional public living in the South Bohemian Region, do not think of abused women as victims of the domestic violence with prejudices and stereotypes. However, the fact that people living in the South Bohemian Region do not think of abused women as the victims of the domestic violence with prejudices and stereotypes, does not mean that there are no myths, prejudices and stereotypes at the South Bohemian lay as well as professional public. For example I have registered a still prevalent myth at the lay public: ``women provoke men to use the violence{\crq}q. I noted an existence of the prejudice at the professional public: {\clq}qattractive and self-confident women do not become victims of the domestic violence{\crq}q. The other result of my bachelor thesis was to ascertain that, in contrast to sufficient information at the professional public, the lay public have not still enough information about the problem of the domestic violence. Currently I can see the lack of information mainly on the phenomenon at the lay public as the fundamental problem of the domestic violence. I think that it would be very useful, efficient, but also interesting to focus an attention on the way how to achieve to greatest possible awareness of the Czech public.

Forbidden Oxygen line emission from the traces of meteors
Habuda, Pavol ; Borovička, Jiří (advisor) ; Šolc, Martin (referee)
The aim of this diploma thesis was to study forbidden green oxygen line emission. It was found out that green line emit mainly in heights 100-110 kilometers, exceptionally below 90 kilometers. Time evolution of green line intensity with respect of heights was investigated in detail. There was suggested theoretical dependency and agreement with observed data was fulfilled. Dependency of integral intensity was investigated as well. Mechanisms of excitation and quenching of green line in emission was proposed in previous studies in 70. of previous century. This work discuss with its results. Efficiency of transformation of kinetic energy of meteoroid to forbidden green line's emission was discussed. The concentrations of atomic oxygen was estimated by several way in heights of green line emission.

Removing methods of power line interference in ECG signals
Herodes, Jakub ; Janů, Joshua (referee) ; Smital, Lukáš (advisor)
The thesis is comparing efficiency of digital linear and nonlinear filtration used for removing power line interference from ECG signals. For testing was used database of CSE, containing 3750 ECG signals. After adding simulated power line interference into the clear ECG signal come comparing the efficiency of filters by average output signal to noise ratio.

Efficient Gathering of Performance Information on Multicore Systems
Tůma, Tomáš
Modern multicore processors provide performance counters that export information on various essential aspects of software execution, from instruction decoding to cache utilization. Typically, a processor is capable of counting a small subset from hundreds of different event types, the events themselves can occur almost every processor clock tick. This yields a significant amount of data which is difficult to collect without disrupting the execution itself. The goal of the thesis is to apply compressive sampling - a special method of sampling signals that allows to reconstruct sparse signal from a small number of samples - to the performance counter data.

Universal Full-Text Index
Švantner, Marek ; Skopal, Tomáš (referee) ; Holub, Martin (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design and implementation of a highly efficient universal index of textual documents. Universal stands for an opportunity to configure structures of index records and methods of the index data processing (without recompiling an application). Furthermore, it means that the index library can be used even for other purposes, for example to implement a thesaurus, to represent bibliographic relationships or even for generic representation of a specific class of functions in other areas than documentographic systems. The index is implemented using the dynamic inverted file which can be efficiently updated without need of the data structure rebuilding. Specific issue is on-line index compression and failure recovery via the transactional log. It is shown that the amortized complexity of the data structure is linear. This fact is afterwards experimentally verified. Other experiments address the compression methods and the impact of the data structure parameters on its efficiency. The diploma thesis contains the implementation of the universal index in C/C++. It has been tested in the Linux and Windows XP environments.

Oriented immobilization of PNgase F on a porous polymer monolith for rapid N-glycan release
Szekrényes, A. ; Křenková, Jana ; Keresztessy, Z. ; Foret, František ; Guttman, A.
We demonstrate a simple and rapid method for the oriented immobilization of peptide-N4-(Nacetyl- glucosaminyl) asparagine amidase F (PNGase F) on a porous polymer monolith. The oriented immobilization is based on the affinity of glutathione-S-transferase (GST) tagged PNGase F towards glutathione modified monolith prepared in the capillary format. This approach allows the oriented and easily replaceable immobilization of PNGase F for rapid and efficient release of N-linked glycans. The reactor was tested by deglycosylation of several native glycoproteins such as ribonuclease B, fetuin or human immunoglobulin G. The proteins were effectively deglycosylated in several minutes and the released N-linked glycans were analyzed using off-line MALDI/MS or CE/LIF.

Comparison of methods for recruitement employees under czech labor market. Headhunting versus recruitment.
Hnízdilová, Petra ; Němec, Otakar (advisor) ; Španielová, Soňa (referee)
The theoretical part describes the field of personnel policy, focusing on the issue of finding employees. The Master´s thesis is focused on the work headhunting companies in comparison with the work of employment agencies. The aim of my work is verify possibility to determine the situations in which it is more efficient to use the method of direct systematic search and when the classical method of recruitment. In my work I analyze not only the management of human resources but also the functioning of the personnel departments of companies with reference to personal marketing. The Master´s thesis is also supplemented with practical knowledge and the final section describe the outcome of the survey
