Tourism in Bosnia and Herzegovina

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the tourism of the federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The thesis has two important aims to achieve. The first one is to characterise the development of the incoming tourism in the post-war period and the second aim is to evaluate the touristic development strategies, both in Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and in Republika Srpska. My determined hypothesis assumes a huge difference between these two strategies. The determined hypothesis expects a difference in more than a half of the minor points and achievements of both strategies. On the basis of similiarity of both strategies is the plan of the thesis to find out the possible cooperation between both federations. The huge difference between the strategies of both federations can be considered as a different approach of both federations to the tourism deveplopment within one state. In the theoretical part is defined the tourism term, namely the typology and also the form of supply and demand for tourist destination. The practical part focuses on the conditions. Namely the localization, cultural-historical, or technical, where is the focus on the accomodation and catering facility and finally transportation, where the thesis analyse the transport possibilities of going to Bosnia and Herzegovina. In the end the thesis focus on the outgoing tourism, on the aim of the thesis, and try to expertly predict the future development of the tourism, based on the professional preconditions and the previous progress.
Creation of a strategic development plan for selected municipalities
HAJNOVÁ, Viola
The village, which I set out a strategic development plan, is the municipality Hlincová Hora. I chose it for its significant development in recent years. The first part - literary research - theoretical foundations of the functioning of municipalities and recommendations for dealing with strategic plans. The following section - characteristics of the village, municipality SWOT analysis, interview with the mayor and citizens of several community questionnaire. The idea of strategic plans for community development plan, I found the interview with Mr. Mayor. The framework uses the municipality's vision is to develop tourism. Then I incorporated public opinion and added their own ideas and insights. In the final part of "Talk, proposals for changes in the village", I recommend me councilors to consider the proposed topics, and where začleněnit the development plan. Their implementation should contribute to increasing the attractiveness and competitiveness of the broader community, and to increase the satisfaction of most people who live here in the narrower sense. The municipality should maintain and keep its rural character in the future and thus will be attractive not only for residents of the nearby metropolis of South Bohemia, České Budějovice.

Tourism Development Strategy for ZOO Chleby

This diploma thesis deals with the formulation of tourism development strategy for ZOO Chleby. After an evaluation of importance of zoos in the Czech Republic, the theoretical part follows, relating mainly to the issue of marketing of tourism services. The work also focuses on a comprehensive analysis of external and internal environment of ZOO Chleby, especially on the evaluation of competition and importance within the tourist area of Polabí. The key part of the analysis is represented by a marketing research containing two surveys among potential and existing visitors of the zoo. The final section is devoted to the formulation of particular parts of the development strategy, including instruments of the marketing mix and design of specific measures for the director of ZOO Chleby.

The Alliance of municipalities of Novoborsko 1998-2008

The aim of this thesis is to analyze all the activities of the Alliance of municipalities of Novoborsko in the period between 1998 -- 2008. First part is dedicated to examine the actions taken by optional Alliance of municipalities in Czech Republic, in concrete their legislation, economy, positive and negative features of their mutual cooperation. Next part analyzes the Alliance of municipalities of Novoborsko and the way it works in practice, its financial situation, sponsors of projects, cooperating partners; its comprehension by local citizens, and its contribution to the individual municipalities and the whole region in general. The implementation of projects carried out by the Alliance during its 10 year existence and valuation of all its activities is depicted as well, together with the examination of its consequences on the development of the above mentioned region.
