External Financing of Firms Through the Securities

This Master’s thesis deals with the analysis of long-term corporate financing. Described is financing through the capital market securities – by shares and bonds as well as bank loan. The first part compares the theoretical possibilities of external financing, the second part is focused on the analyse of IPO and analysis of IPO which was realized in Czech republic by listed companies.

The work is focused on ECM and representation in the reference model of IT management MBI. The primary objective is to expand and update ECM components in the MBI as objects, tasks which are represented as the business processes related to IT management and the relationships between these objects and tasks. Work provides an detailed overview of the benefits, risks and problems associated with the implementation of the various components of ECM.
ECM implementation in small enterprise

The thesis is focused on the administrative support system implementation for enterprise content management (ECM). The goal of the thesis is the introduction of new procedures with a suitable ECM tool while managing enterprise content in the small company environment and the following benefits evaluation. The theoretical part creates an informational grounding for the practical part and takes for a goal to introduce the readers with ECM basic terms and principles. Especially, document lifecycle and component-oriented approach to the issue are defined. In the practical part, the individual ECM system implementation steps are described. A concrete company is analyzed from the viewpoint of the organizational structure and the requirements laid on the implemented ECM. In the following stages of the implementation, the individual setting according to the needs of a specific company and automation of certain processes are stressed.

Enterprise document management has been in a long-term progress. Not long ago only files and folders were enough for enterprise document management, but nowadays most of enterprise documents are in the electronic form. The electronisation of enterprise documents has carried simplified manipulation, but it has also caused disorderliness in many cases. Systems called Document managament system (DMS) bring support for better management of electronic enterprise documents. This diploma thesis deals with the implementation of DMS into the environment of a specific company where it is designed to support effective function concerning enterprise document management.
Use of modern tools for teamleading support, team collaboration and knowledge sharing

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to introduce the matters of team management, team collaboration and knowledge sharing, then to analyze the real needs of the target group in those areas and to suggest a solution to this problem. In the theoretic part I define basic concepts of this thesis and delimit its needs and criteria of selection, which will be used in selection and description of a concrete tool. The practical part consists of a target group definition, a specification of its needs and a definition of criteria used for choosing the solution. The chosen solution is described afterwards.
Analysis of intranet in the company and conditions for successful migration

The thesis focuses on enterprise content management via intranet. The work introduces one company and describes its intranet from the information perspective. A satisfaction survey with intranet among a selected group of employees was developed, executed and evaluated. The following chapter deals with description of Microsoft SharePoint 2013, a technology that was chosen to migrate to in the company described in this work. Its positives as compared to current solution are presented. Finally, the thesis discusses topics to concentrate on in case the enterprise seeks successful migration to a new solution. They are introduced from the internal perspective of a company that might undertake individual steps independently, without and third party support. The thesis includes attachments with illustrations relevant to the selected technology, i.e. SharePoint 2013, and example of the survey form distributed among employees.
DMS systems and workflow

Tato práce pojednává o systémch na správu dokumentů (DMS) a podpoře vnitropodnikových prosesů pomocí integrovaných workflow modulů. Práce zahrnuje hlavní důvody pro zavedení DMS, benefity plynoucí z jeho zavedení, funkcionalitu typických DMS, vymezuje jednotlivé komponenty systému, mapuje stav na příslušném trhu a uvádí trendy, ke kterým bude vývoj techto systémů směřovat. Práce vychází především z praktických poznatků a snaží se najít přechod od technologie k businessu.
Analysis of internal application in a multinational company with the implementation of Microsoft SharePoint 2010

The thesis is focused on the analysis of application Support central and use of the technology SharePoint Server solution instead of the current File server. The aim of this work is analyzed Support central and SharePoint Server, as well as to define both their strengths and weaknesses. In the case of Sharepoint Server is important to evaluate the requirements of the banking institutions, it is also necessary to carefully analyze the SharePoint Server using the check list. In another part of the thesis are defined accomplishments and benefits that this technology allows.I also to mention here about the types of customization and its benefits. An important part of this work is devoted to analysis of risks that may occur when vulnerabilities. The middle part of the work deals with the optimization of business processes and an equally important role is also an business impact analysis that clarifies what impacts may occur in the banking institution as a result of a failure. The last section deals with designing the architecture of the banking institution and Cost Benefit analysis, which identifies the costs and expected revenues of technology SharePoint Server. An important element is the payback time of investment.
Using Darwin Information Typing Architecture in ECM solution

This paper focuses on the principles of Darwin Information Typing Architecture (DITA) standard for storing structured content. Aim of the theses is to generally describe the possibilities of its integration into the ECM solution and, based on this knowledge, to design an appropriate procedure establishing DITA technology into the company's enterprise content management solution according to its specified requirements. The theoretical part of the thesis introduces the concept of information architecture DITA, assumptions for its usage and the basic principles for creating DITA documents. DITA technology is compared to its alternatives and its future development is estimated. It discusses the general principles of DITA integration to ECM solutions. In the practical part, there is designed a suitable demonstration solution implementing DITA technology into the enterprise content management system based on a company's specified requirements. Under the proposal are compared tools for creating and editing documents and on the basis of the criteria is one of them appropriately chosen. The phases are further developed, thus forming a coherent view on the practical implementation of DITA. General conclusions and recommendations for companies that would be interested in establishing a standard DITA into their content management solutions are drawn in the final chapter.
Document management system in a small business

The aim of this thesis is a detailed analysis and subsequent documentation of all procedures related to the application of a document management and to the related changes in a small business. The method of achieving this objective is based mainly on a description, understanding and subsequent application of theoretical foundations in practice, specifically for a small business. Together with all that also goes a description and an appearance of all common problems and obstacles, which may occur during implementation. The contribution of this thesis is to create a guide on how to deal with document management in companies of the above-mentioned type. Another important element is evalutation of the benefits of the implementation of document management application based on the experience of real company. This thesis is divided into several chapters -- market analysis and current state, the importance of documentation for companies, the process of document management implementation, issues and application of tools for document digitalization, evaluation and comparison of partial states in the company, deduction and prediction of the future state.
