Assessment of the Level of Financial Literacy of the Selected Group of the Population
Špirka, Jozef ; Ulrich, Milan (advisor)
The current period is characterized by consumerism, market economies, easily accessible loans, household indebtedness, depersonalization cash flow due to of electronic payments and visible consequences of the debt trap and subsequent executions while failing to secure funding. Inadequate or only elementary knowledge of financial literacy of young people is a condition that is a risk factor for most skills in the management of their money. The above facts are environments where most may apply sometimes aggressive ways menu disadvantageous loans. In the practical part, I am my task using questionnaires to determine the state of financial literacy and compare the results at several high schools, including the ability to evaluate the orientation of the financial market and resistance risk activity in the financial management of personal finances.

Comparison of circadian typology and circadian rhythms in groups of sporting adolescents (ice-hockey players) and unsporting adolescents
CHRT, Jakub
The aim of the thesis "Comparation of circadian typology and circadian rhythms in groups of sporting adolescents (ice-hockey players) and unsporting adolescents" was to analyze the circadian rhythms and daily habits adolescents. Explore and compare two files consisting of research in sports (hockey players) and unsporting adolescents boys. The obtained results confirm or refute the assumptions set out the research. The survey was conducted questionnaires life rhythms and sleep patterns 9 to 15 years (Harada, KREJČÍ, 2010). Processed data were statistically processed in Kochi University and subsequently evaluated. The results show the diversity of test files and confirm the significantly most of the research assumptions.

Molecular phylogenetics and geometric morphometrics of aerophytic green algae of Coccomyxa/Pseudococcomyxa s.l. complex
Nemjová, Katarína ; Neustupa, Jiří (advisor) ; Hampl, Vladimír (referee)
This thesis deals with molecular diversity and shape variation of the traditionally delimited unicellular coccoid genera Coccomyxa SCHMIDLE and Pseudococcomyxa KORŠIKOV (Trebouxiophyceae, Viridiplantae). The complex of these traditional genera was found monophyletic position within the class Trebouxiophyceae on the basis of 18S rDNA sequences. Subdivision of this lineage into individual clades was based on 18S rDNA, ITS1 and ITS2 sequences. The results did not confirm delimitation of traditional genera. However, they suggest ecological differentiation of individual clades. The results of phylogenetic analyses were further supported by reconstructions of ITS2 secondary structures and analyses of the compensatory base changes (CBC) among individual clades. The mutual relationships among clades remained, however, partially unclear. Geometric morphometric variation of cell shapes illustrated pattern that was mostly not correlated with molecular data. This indicates high degree of evolutionary plasticity and possible unreliability of these morphological features in taxonomy of the group. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Actin isoforms in the plant cell
Šlajcherová, Kateřina ; Schwarzerová, Kateřina (advisor) ; Fišerová, Jindřiška (referee)
The thesis deals with a question of redundancy in plant actin isotypes, especially in a case of Arabidopsis thaliana. Available proofs both confirm and disprove the redundancy of actin isotypes. Similarities and differences in gene structure are considered, as well as gene and protein sequence, expression, expression regulation and function. Despite conserved features as the gene structure, protein sequence, or higher similarity among ortologues than paralogues, there are differences in actin gene families such as the regulation of genes expression, the structure and function of non-coding sequences, or expression patterns. Moreover, actin isotypes divergetion times correlate with important events in plant evolution history. The thesis also deals with diverse functions of actin isotypes in plants. In addition, directions for future research are provided as well.

Early prosaic works of Čapek brothers and the context of pre-war
MACKOVÁ, Olga
In the diploma thesis ``Early prosaic works of Čapek brothers and the context of pre-war modernism{\crqq} we deal in its first part with the joint prosaic works of the author pair of the Čapek brothers, ie. collections The Garden of Krakonos (transl. Krakonošova zahrada), The Luminious Depths and Other Prose (transl. Zářivé hlubiny a jiné prózy) and Juvenilie. We present comparison of these works and illustrate changes in poetics for each of these short stories. In the course of analysis of the collection The Garden of Krakonos we show its style in inclusion of diverse thoughts, aforisms and short stories which are anecdotically or ephigramatically ratched up with a strong self-reflective accent. With the analysis of the collection The Luminious Depths and Other Prose we point out the aim of the authors to achieve perfect form of novels. The stories are significantly longer and carefully plotted with the central role of an enclosed, complex, and thoughtful events in the past; authors work with the neo-classicistic form here. In the case of the collection Juvenilie we show patterns of this first and by authors themselves not too valued work which was even published post mortem. In their early works it is often obvious that they are only a preparation, a non-satisfying expression of a thought, and a literary concept which calls authors back for future reworkings. In the following part of the diploma thesis we focus on individual prosaic works of Čapek Brother - Josef{\crq}s first work Lelio and Karel{\crq}s first works The Wayside Crosses (transl. Boží muka) and Painful stories (transl. Trapné povídky). We aim to show the change from their previous collaboration to an original and individual form of expression of each of the authors. In the course of analysis of Josef{\crq}s short story Lelio, an example of the ``poetics of loathing{\crqq}, we show the expressivity of description of feelings of a lonely individual, the motives of anxiety, restlessness and sadness, all of which have probably an autobiographical roots. In Karel{\crq}s The Wayside Crosses, most of the stories try to capture only a separate event or even a single state of mind or feeling. The reader is approached with events which are by usual means inexplainable, with the moment when the rational, common life reaches an end and where he finds himself on a cross-section symbolized by the wayside Cross. In the case of Painful stories we analyze a collection of more coherent stories which mark the later style of Karel{\crq}s works. In the conlusion, the diploma thesis deals with the early journalistic activity of both brothers, with their critical artistic acumen. We analyze more deeply their part in organizing the significant collection Almanac 1914 (transl. Almanach na rok 1914) and we aim also for the thematic analysis of poems with which they contributed to the collection. Further, we approach their relationships with other avant-garde artists and authors, and analyze their contribution to the pre-war modernist movement.

Three stories between East and West: "Virtuous young man", "Divine lover", "Sacrifice of a child"
Špicová, Zuzana ; Vojvodík, Josef (advisor) ; Pokorný, Martin (referee)
The thesis deals with the realization of three narratives -"Virtuous Young Man", "Divine Lover", and "Sacrifice of a Child"- in diverse literatures of East and West. Basic form, characters/(arche)types, and motifs and their possible variations depending on cultural, literary, and religious/mythological setting are presented for each plot. Using historical and comparative poetics, each plot is analysed from the first extant adaptations in European and non-European literatures to the modern ones. The thesis puts an emphasis on specification and configuration of particular motifs, variations depending on the religious-mythological context, and tension between the same and different, general pattern and specific realization, type and character.

The Yugoslav cominformist emigration's group in Czechoslovakia
Vojtěchovský, Ondřej ; Pelikán, Jan (advisor) ; Rychlík, Jan (referee) ; Tejchman, Miroslav (referee)
The thesis deals with the group of the Yugoslav Cominformist (anti-Titoist) émigrés in Czechoslovakia. The basic line of the story is constituted by an analysis of their political activity. At the same time, this topic gaye an opportunity for the microhistorical study, which in general displays several aspects of the communist party dictatorship in Czechoslovakia. especially in its initial period. The events among Yugoslav émigrés as a Communist party cell are explored in detail. The following aspects are pursued: Methods and processes of the decision-making and controlling; the relations between the emigrant' s group and the central bodies of CP of Czechoslovakia; the behaviour and thinking patterns of the Party militants and functionaries; the relations between Czechoslovak communists and their foreign protégés. Analysing the situation when the emigranťs group was confronted with a different host environment, it was possible to portray the diversity of mentalities, stereotype s and political and cultural traditions of the two national communist movements. Biogeography and specificity of Asterochloris photobionts
Řídká, Tereza ; Škaloud, Pavel (advisor) ; Vondrák, Jan (referee)
This diploma thesis has focused on the diversity and biogeography of Asterochloris photobionts. Since no study so far has been published on the biogeography of symbiotic microorganisms, the presented thesis is the first attemp to trace the biogeographic distribution and endemism of symbionts. By gathering 121 Asterochloris sequences obtained from lichen thalli sampled outside Europe and America, the diversity within the genus increased dramatically. The phylogenetic analysis based on the concatenated alignment of ITS rDNA and actin sequences obtained from Cladonia and Stereocaulon photobionts revealed 28 differently supported clades. Of them, eight lineages were newly discovered. Three environmental factors explaining the best the distribution pattern of Asterochloris photobionts were selected according to the statistical tests of the phylogenetic signal: two different types of biogeographical ecoregions and the substrate type. In general, the genus Asterochloris is distributed cosmopolitally, with a very low rate of endemism. Newly obtained data indicate that the restricted distribution of any photobiont clade is not caused by either historic or biological factors, but more likely by specific climatic or habitat preferences.

Lifestyles of young czech generation
