Title: Marketing plan of Lady fitness Objectives: The aim of this work is to create marketing plan for fitness company Lady fitness, which provides fitness services exclusively for women. Hypothesis is that Lady fitness doesn't deal with marketing planning. Methods: Qualitative and quantitative methods were used in this thesis. The main methods used in this work include a questionnaire, qualitative interviews, SWOT analysis, an informal interview and STEP analysis. Results: The author made detailed analysis of Lady fitness and it was found the marketing of the company was a great failure. The author created a marketing plan for next year. Use of workout programme in fitness in reduction period

Title: Use of workout programme in fitness in reduction period Objectives: Objective of diploma thesis is to find out changes in body composition of six clients, who workout in fitness center for five months. Diploma thesis is focused on ganges of fat mass and muscle mass (ATH). Methods: In this thesis was used a method of analysis scientific literature. After that there was used qualitative research by fitness programme, which was used on six clients to find out changes of body composition after five months of workout. The workout was focused on a fitness-strenght workout in fitness centre for five months, consisting of two or three training sessions per week, every training session lasts 60 minutes. Results: Clients consist of 4 men and 2 women. Age of men was in a range of 19 to 49 years, final body weight was in a range of 76kg to 103kg, body height was measured from 174cm to 187cm. Age of women was 45 and 55 years, , final body weight was 75,5kg and 61,9kg, body height was 162cm and 163cm. Men decreased their fat mass in a range of 1,7 to 5,6kg, changes of ATH were measured in a range of +0,6kg to -1kg. Title The analysis of dance group lessons offers in fitness centers in Prague. The aim of the work The aim is to analyze and compare offers of group dance lessons in ten selected fitness centers in Prague. Methodology Methods of qualitative and quantitative research were used to meet the goals of this work. Moreover, descriptive, document and comparative analysis were used to compare the frequency of the dance lessons. The results were processed using statistical methods in Microsoft Word. Results Research has proven that the fitness centres repeatedly offer two most common group dance lessons, which include Zumba and aerobics. Fitness comparison of the European ground squirrel's populations living in different habitats and population density

Fitness in ground squirrels is a frequently discussed topic, reported in many publications, although it was rarely the subject of their study. The aim of this study was to determine which factors and find out how they affect the fitness of individuals, and thus the whole population of the European ground squirrel in Czech Republic. For this purpose we collected body mass data at three studied population, which are the main indicator of the fitness in ground squirrels. We also recorded information about injuries, reproduction status, ectoparasites and endoparasites. Moreover we collected all available data on the body mass of European ground squirrel in the central European region, and we compiled overview of body mass changes during the season. This enables us to compare our data with typical/common body mass value in particular sex, age and season. Recorded differences in body mass at three studied sites were related to sex, age, locality and season. We found positive correlation between the body mass and injuries from fights/reproduction activity in adult males. The relationship between body mass and reproduction activity of females was not found. Four species of ectoparasites, mostly occurring in adults, were recorded in studied populations. This bachelor thesis introduces a new program within the field of fitness, CrossFit. The thesis focuses on the clarification and description of the individual exercise elements which most typically occur within the practice. The practical part of the thesis deals with the degree of the component motor abilities in the CrossFit athletes. Comparison of fitness centres in Benešov

Title: Comparison of fitness centres in Benešov Aim of the thesis: This bachelor thesis aims at comparing selected fitness centres in Benešov. Survey of quality of the services offered here was undertaken by means of the SERVQUAL questionnaire where customers expressed their views on the services provided by the centre, as well as on services expected in their "perfect" fitness centre. This questionnaire allowed for the comparison of the fitness centres and recommendation of certain changes which could lead to an improvement in quality and therefore also to increased satisfaction of the customers. Methodology: Quality of the services was compared by use of a standardized SERVQUAL questionnaire which was submitted to the clients of fitness centres in Benešov in spring 2013. The questionnaire reviewed and compared the expected quality of offered services which in the clients' opinion belonged to an ideal fitness centre, with the quality of services perceived by the clients in individual fitness centres. Muscle imbalances on people visiting fitness facilities in the age of 18 to 25

This bachelor thesis refers on muscular imbalances of regular fitness facilities visitors in the age of 18 to 25. Muscle imbalances could be built on basis of wrong technique and overusing specific body parts during exercising. Nowadays especially young people have their physical look as their priority result of visiting a gym. Due that they usually focus just on one or two body parts during all of their actual gym sessions. First part of the thesis explains the term fitness and young adults view on exercising. Next parts consist of spinal kinesiology, posture and muscle imbalances, followed by information about examination and therapy. The goal of this project was to determine muscular imbalances of bodybuilders. The following goal was to create an exercise session which will help them to get rid of these muscle imbalances. Research was conducted along regular visitors of Fitness Centre Pouzar in České Budějovice. Six respondents in total took a part in the research. History taking and kinesiology analysis was used for collection of data before the therapy. Respondents were divided in two groups where the first half of them received set exercise program and the second half did not get anything to follow. Duration of exercise program testing was approximately two months. After this period each of the groups were analysed and compared again. There was found a significant improvement of muscle imbalances of the first group with set up program compared to the second group without any specified program. This bachelor thesis can be helpful for health professionals as well as for public. The aim of the research is to extend the knowledge of exercising in fitness facilities and prevention of muscular imbalances due to wrong habits in exercising.
