Social housing - segment integral housing policy and its conceptual solution in statutory city of Opava

The diploma thesis "Social Housing - an integral segment of the housing policy and its conceptual design in the Statutory City of Opava" deals with the problem of increasing numbers of individuals or groups who have problems with obtaining decent housing or with the maintenance of the current housing market in the Czech Republic. After 1989, the transformation of housing and significantly changed its ownership structure. Social rental housing segment, however, in our almost non-existent, the concept of social housing is enshrined in our legal framework and no common concept and function for the Czech Republic as a country. In Western Europe, while social housing tradition since the 19th century and is now the total number of rental housing for 18 % allocated as social housing. In the current situation and economic context, it is clear that a stable population will be unable to provide themselves and maintain their own housing. Housing is yet one of the basic social needs, which is not possible without the development of both individual and society. Housing is considered as a specific asset to which not only can be viewed through the lens of economic criteria. Posttraumatic stress disorder by soldiers comming back from peacekeeping missions

The bachelor's thesis describes the posttraumatic stress disorder by soldier's coming back from peacekeeping missions and the real psychological help provided to concerned soldiers. Theoretically informs about PTSD. More over summarizes the possibilities given within the scope of testing before leaving and after coming back from missions and the psychological care during the execution of a mission. In addition the information about military operations, which the Czech soldiers have taken part recently and are involved nowadays and its characteristics. The key part of this work is the field testing as to discover PTSD symptoms as well as the quality of health care after an accomplishing of missions. The field testing was done by an evaluation of the tested sample which is made of foreign mission participants being deployed during last five years into one or two military operations lasting more than 3 months.

Traffic lanes merging analysis and possible improvement measures

The presented thesis deals with lane merging at lane drops. The theory of traffic flow is briefly introduced and put into the perspective of lane merging. Forming of queues at lane drops, the capacity drop and traffic flow behaviour at lane merging is explained. A review of existing measures at lane drops at work zones and elsewhere is provided. Measurements of traffic flow from three different locations are presented. The locations are introduced, the methods used for analysis of the data are explained and the results are provided and discussed. The capacity drop is confirmed and the first proof of concept of the later introduced metering system is presented. The behaviour of the merging drivers was found to have a significant influence on the merging capacity during congestion. Further, an overview of existing applications of traffic light in traffic flow control is provided and ramp metering and mainstream metering is explained. The new metering system for lane drops is presented including several possible modifications and extensions. Finally, the proposed metering system is tested in microsimulation software Aimsun. The simulations further confirm the viability of such systems. It brings significant capacity improvements and consequently even greater improvements of delays and travel times due to shorter queues.

Nursing care of the patient with stoma

Cílem mé bakalářské práce je zpracování případové studie ošetřovatelské péče o pacienta L. D. (38 let), který byl hospitalizován na oddělení intenzivní péče po rozsáhlé břišní operaci. Na našem oddělení jsou hospitalizovaní pacienti, kteří vyžadují intenzivní péči a podporu základních životních funkcí. V teoretické části se zabývám anatomií a fyziologií tlustého střeva. Dále se věnuji divertikulární chorobě tlustého střeva, vyšetřovacím metodám, léčbě, stomiím, předoperační a pooperační péči a prognóze onemocnění. Z lékařské dokumentace jsou čerpány informace o terapii, vyšetření a průběhu hospitalizace. V ošetřovatelské části popisuji ošetřovatelský proces. Ošetřovatelská péče je hodnocena podle modelu Virginie Hendersonové. Následuje stanovení ošetřovatelských diagnóz a cíl ošetřovatelské péče, plánování, realizace a zhodnocení jejího průběhu. Další část pojednává o psychologickém stavu a edukaci pacienta.

Rašín's currency reform

- 94 - Rašín's monetary reform This diploma thesis is dealing with the Czechoslovak monetary reform performed in March 1919 whose originator was the first finance minister Alois Rašín. After the dissolution of Austria-Hungary at the end of WWI new-formed Czechoslovakia assumed a heritage in form of totally depreciated currency. The Austro- Hungarian Bank as the central bank of monarchy financed the war through war loan to the state. The central bank de facto became a money printer and the result was galloping inflation. The Aim of monetary reform was mainly to separate the currency from the original Austro-Hungarian currency and create a new own one, eliminate inflation money and appreciate the new currency. The longer-range aim of reform was to connect the Czechoslovak currency with gold, thus to establish the gold standard currency. All preparations for reform passed absolutely secretly. The law about monetary reform was adopted during the secret session of Revolutionary National Assembly on February 25th, 1919. Even that night from February 25th to 26th, the state boundary was enclosed and all communication with foreign countries was interrupted to prevent inflow of Austro-Hungarian money from neighbouring countries. Drugs: the political problem in Czech Republic (1993-2006)

v českém jazyce není součástí práce. Úryvek z Úvodu: Cílem předkládané práce je specifikovat postoje politických stran k problematice drog v České republice v období 1993 až 2006. Časové ohraničení je zcela logické. Rok 1993 je nejen vznikem samostatné České republiky, ale i počátkem systematické realizace protidrogové politiky. Zároveň se záhy po tomto datu začaly některé politické strany kriticky vyjadřovat k oficiální linii vládní protidrogové politiky. Po celé námi sledované období byly zpochybňovány její cíle i efektivita a vládní protidrogová politika neměla plnou podporu ani v samotné vládě. To vedlo opakovaně k jejímu přehodnocování a hledání určité rovnováhy, které však často bylo doprovázeno vyhrocenou diskuzí na politické úrovni. Ve své diplomové práci si tak kladu především tyto otázky: jaké byly důvody politizace drogové problematiky, jaká témata byla akcentovaná, s jakými požadavky politici přicházeli, jak se tyto požadavky promítly ve vládní protidrogové politice a jak se měnily postoje politiků k tomuto tématu v námi sledovaném období. The thesis completely summarizes single steps that need to be done before opening one's own company and contains the business plan of a new rising restaurant with an estimation of whether the plan is realistic, feasible and if it has a chance to succeed. The thesis consists of the theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part focuses on the explanation of fundamental concepts related to this issue -- what business and company are, description of a successful businessman, activities which should be done before you start your own business and activities which should be avoided. After that there is the description of the most important aspects of a business plan -- its meaning, users, rules of correct elaboration, detailed structure and its appurtenances. The practical part contains of a concrete business plan of a restaurant in the region of Mělnik. It deals with a choice of a legal form of a company, optimal placing of a restaurant and its establishing, market analysis, creation of a product, planning of a proper marketing strategy, and making plan of management and financial plan with a prognosis of developement of economy for next years. The plan was created in a way to be tabled to financial institutions while a businessman needs money subvention and also to be a fundamental document for owners while they need to lead their business.

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na charakterizování počítačových her, popř. her počítačem podporovaných, s poukázáním na možnost a vhodnost užití pro edukaci za předpokladu vhodného výběru a cíleného použití učitelem. Práce vychází z použité literatury, z vlastní zkušenosti a z rozhovorů a dotazníků tvořených s hráči. Těžištěm práce je hra SDF jako příklad didakticky využitelné hry. Pro tuto hru autor vytvořil několik programů a www rozhraní, které jsou rovněž v práci popsané. Samotné programy jsou práci přiložené na disku CD a dostupné na webové adrese http://kraken.pedf.cuni.cz/~balai2ap/. Cílem je na příkladu hry SDF poukázat na možnosti užití rozsáhlejší hry zaměřené na podporu výuky a na rozvoj žáků v různých předmětech a tématech.

Práce si klade za cíl popsat a vytvořit návod pro nejdůležitější část SEO optimalizace ? tvorba primárních a sekundárních klíčových slov. Po vymezení základních pojmů SEO popisuje význam klíčových slov v dokumentu. Zabývá se tvorbou jak pro zcela nový dokument, tak pro již hotový. Popisuje význam copywritingu, jako základního prostředku pro optimalizovaný a zároveň slohově přijatelný text. V další části je provedeno základní srovnání některých nástrojů pro usnadnění tvorby klíčových slov. Některé jsou více komplexní než jiné, jiné jsou dokonce placené. V poslední a nejdůležitější části práce je navržen postup pro optimalizaci malých a středně velkých dokumentů, včetně názorného schématu.
