View and Attitudes to Sport and Physical Activities in Secundary School's Teachers Lifestyle

Name: View and attitudes to sport and physical activities in secondary school's teachers lifestyle The aim of this thesis was to investigate the point of views and attitude of high school teachers in sport and physical activities in their lifestyle. The study ran over the republic using a questionnaire method. In general, the research was focused on a comparison of opinions and attitude of teachers in four age categories (18 - 30 years, 31 - 45 years, 46 - 60 years, 61 years and older), further, according to gender and teaching qualification and non teaching qualification in physical education. Overall, 999 teachers were responded. In most cases, the results confirmed our working hypothesis. Generally, most of the teachers have positive opinions and attitudes to sport and physical activities in their lifestyle. Keywords: sport, physical activities, lifestyle

The use of sport games in geographic and environmental education

In its introduction, this dissertation concentrates on literature research, explaining the basic concepts connected with movement, dynamic and didactic game and the theory of the relationship between upbringing and education. Furthermore, the paper includes an explanation of the principles connected with the process of teaching itself, different types of teaching and concrete types of teaching used in geography and environmental education. There is also a chapter about the acquisition of knowledge, both its processes and the factors influencing the subject matter in memory. An important part of the paper concentrates on strategies for increasing the capacity of long-term memory, reminiscence and determinants of forgetting. An indispensable part of school teaching is motivation, which increases interest in given dilemmas/problems and prompts children to perform appropriate actions. The main goal is to create a catalogue of didactic movement games in printed as well as in electronic forms (programs MS Excel, please see attached CD). The aim of this thesis is to show theatre as a space of personal and professional growth, a place where one can respond to pressing issues that emerge from the world and its events. The name of this thesis is Theatre as Home with subtitle Identity, Memory, and Space. The first chapter, Theatre and Alchemy, describes an internship with Min Tanaka, and deals with theatre?s transforming potential, with movement and its development from traditional cultivation of land all the way to the stylised dance movements of butó, where body and landscape reflect each other. This dance technique stems from a specific cultural memory and particular historical situation. It is a concrete demonstration of the idea that a connection between life and dance is not just a dream: it can be an instrument of discovering identity.

Application of a musical activities in language education and training activities of MŠ or Traveling with a song

The theme of the master theses is the application of music and movement in the search options and ŠVP and the search for possibilities and ways of developing knowledge and skills of reading and writing prior to the child before entering the school through music and movement activities. Acquiring language skills in preschool children is realized through integrated teaching with appropriate psychological aspects. Experimentally verify the connection of music and language skills. It will be appropriate material for educational use in kindergartens.

The Role of a Nurse - a Lactation Consultant - in an Education of a Breastfeeding Woman

This thesis is focused on education of nursing mothers by a nurse - a lactation consultant. In the introduction of this thesis I am engaging in history of lactation counseling and activities related to support and protection of breastfeeding. I am also mentioning basic procedures in consultancy. Further, the education of a nursing mother in common as well as special or problematic situations are in detail described in the theoretical part. In the empirical part of the thesis I successively defined seven hypotheses related to the lactation consultancy. For their confirmation I designed and completed an extensive research among health care professionals. Three different non-standardised questionnaires were used as the main method for the processing of the empirical part of the diploma thesis. The research was done among lactation consultants across a whole country, among health care professionals at the Gynecology and Obstetrics department of General Teaching Hospital in Prague and District hospital in Havlíčkův Brod. The research took place from 1.12.2005 to 20.2.2006 including a pilot study and the sample was made from 323 respondents. The Authority of the Teacher.

Diploma thesis describes teacher authority from many views. It clarifies conception of the authority and it deals with the role of authority in the society and in the education. Thesis characterizes authority in the range of teaching and it focuses especially on teacher impact during pedagogical work. Diploma thesis investigates factors that effect teacher authority from student's and teacher's views respectively. Data from question-forms, which were obtained from eight schools from different cities, are basis for this work. respondents participated in this investigation. respondents were students and only 13 respondents were teachers. Results from this investigation validate authority as a necessity in the teaching and show types of competences that underline teacher authority. On other hand, manifestation of factors that attenuate teacher authority revealed complexity of interactions between teacher and student. Also severity of teacher work implies from presented investigation.

School beginnings of teacher Augustin Bartoš

This work describes an unknown early life, study, pedagogical actions and scientific reports of Augustin Bartoš (1188-1969), the famous Czech teacher, writer and educator of children with disabilities. He was born in Červený Kostelec, Eastern Bohemia and after attending local schools he was admitted to Teacher Institute in Hradec Králové. Graduating in 1908, he started to teach in schools around the city. During time, he promoted the activities of industrial arts and active school movement between local teachers. In 1912, he joined to Educational Institute for Boys in Hradec Králové and during 1919 helped to manage Educational Institute for Depraved Girls in Jilemnice. At the end of the year he was invited to be manager and school-master of Jedlička Institute in Prague. 176

The Analysis of Communication Activities of Junák Organisation in 2011 on the Example of National Charity Events

Bachelor thesis entitled The Analysis of Communication Activities of Junák Organisation in 2011 on the Example of National Charity Events deals with the largest educational organization in the Czech Republic. The aim is to introduce the organisation Junák - svaz skautů a skautek ČR in terms of its mission, history and current status. It contains an analysis of communication activities of the non-profit organization, which is focused on the analysis of media coverage and communication tools that this non- profit entity used the most. In the second part, this bachelor thesis deals with charity events of non-profit organizations and describes in details four national charity events of the scout movement - Betlémské světlo, gatherings Postavme školu v Africe, KAPKA and Velikonoční skautské kuřátko, then compares their sense to the mission of Junák and its communication strategy. The last part focuses on primary research carried out by the author of this work on the target group of respondents aged 15 to 26 years. Activation methods in teaching English with the help of psychomotor exercise in the targeted group

The work deals with the specifics and importance of teaching children foreign language at an early age through physical exercises and activities that support the learning process. The theoretical part explains the developmental characteristics of children prerequisites for language, some important principles of teaching, teacher competencies but also those that acquire the children themselves in the process of learning in connection with the Framework curriculum for preschool education. The work also includes an overview of the most common methods used in teaching a foreign language at an early age. Another part of the work is devoted to the psychomotor, importance of movement in the learning process linked with the health education . The practical part consists of a collection of psychomotor exercises divided into three main thematic areas of teaching - color, body, animals that is intended as an inspiration for teaching English to preschool children. The research includes validation results of this teaching programme using the methods of observation and video analysis of the target group.

Multimedia and e-learning in teaching of chemistry

This dissertation thesis is focused on problems of multimedia and e-learning and their use in chemistry education. In the theoretical part the knowledge dealing with problems of motivation, possibilities of connecting computer technics and multimedia into the educational process, requirements putting on authors of electronical materials and their users are summarized. Questions of knowledge testing and didactics tests production are also mentioned. In the practical part the description of the properties, possibilities and instructions of the use of the educational multimedia computer systems "School as a game", "Qualitative analysis" and "Nobel Prizes in chemistry" is carried out. These programs are determined for pupils of primary and secondary schools and students of universities preparing expectant teachers of chemistry. All this educational systems contain always sets of tests for curriculum training and certification of knowledge gained using above mentioned systems.
