Using the questionnaire survey and in-depth interviews, the attitude of recruiters to recruiting new employees through social networks, decision-making based on social network information, and employee control through these net-works was investigated. The thesis also examined which social networks are given the greatest weight and what information the HR officers are looking for.
Motivation and Remuneration of Workers in a Selected Company

This diploma thesis is focused on this topic in the engineering company. The teoretical part of thesis contain literature review, which is neccesary for treatment analytion part od thesis. In the next part is introducion of company and described their procedures, metods for remuneration and motivation. The thesis have own questionnaire survey to analyze the current situation in the company from the perspective of employees, reward system, motivation, education or conditions in a workplace. Then it subseyuentely suggests possible steps included bigger welfare of workers, better reward system and higher motivations of workers.
Application for heart rate estimation using smartphone

This student work deals with the issue of heart biosignals, their processing, the possibility of their acquisition using conventional and smart devices, and the regulation of mobile devices in healthcare. The work also includes the design of a mobile application, which can be used to a quick estimation of the human heart rate (HR). The optimized functional application algorithm was tested on a sample of independent subjects and a mean deviation of 0.74 beats per minute (BPM), relative to the ECG reference record, was reached.
Efficiency Improvement of Company Process by Using Project Management Tools

This diploma thesis deals with a type of efficiency improvement of the hiring process in a company, where agile methods are used for the development of its software products. The theoretical part describes specification of traditional and agile methods, and a profound description of the Scrum and Kanban methods and the use of agile methods for hiring activities. In the following part, there is issued an analysis of the current situation in the company oriented to HR department and suggesting possible solutions for discovered problems.

This diploma thesis deals with managers' approach to human resources management in the non-profit, profitable and state sector. This is a topic that is currently the foundation for every well-functioning organization. It is highly relevant for all three types of sectors. The diploma thesis is divided into the conceptual and research part (including the methodological part). The conceptual part of the diploma thesis deals first with description of individual sectors and the relations between them. It also deals with the general concepts that are related to the given issue as a human resources management and its individual components. The research part uses qualitative research in human resources management in selected state institutions. The form of a semi-structured interview is about how managers approach human resources management in their organization. Generation Y in the Workplace

The aim of this diploma thesis is to analyze the current situation on the labor market and to evaluate whether what is offered to the young generation Y by the employer today is in compliance or in contrary to what this generation is expecting and requiring from a potential employer. The second objective is to compare the results of research conducted by renowned companies with the results of my own questionnaire.
Use of social media for recruitment

This thesis focuses on the usage of social media in the recruitment of employees. Its aim is to propose an improved strategy for a selected company and subsequently verify this proposal. In the theoretical part, the study explains the areas of human resources management and its development, defines social media and presents statistics and as a latter, it reveals the principles of social recruiting, where all the prior mentioned areas meet. It also describes the functionality of the most widely used social media and its possible use in recruiting. The analytical part analyses the current state of recruiting in the company. Based on these data and theory, it drafts a new improved social media recruiting strategy. The conclusion then discusses the potential success of the strategy proposal through a questionnaire, whose results supported the strategy proposal.
Position and functions of personnel department in a company

This master thesis is focused on a position and functions of personnel department in the company adidas ČR s.r.o. The important part of the thesis is analysis of the employees perception of the personnel department in the company and the analysis of feedback on personnel activities. The theoretical part describes the findings about evolution of personnel work and personnel functions, it also provides the knowledge and instructions how to change the role of human resource professionals in organizations in order to meet the competitive challenges of today and tomorrow. The practical part is dealing with the topic of perception of human resources department and it works with the output from feedback on personnel activities in the company. In the thesis, there were used methods of personal interviews with the company managers and on-line questionnaire for the employees. As an output of the thesis, there were identified the opportunities for the improvement of the current perception of the human resources department and its functions together with some recommendations and guidelines for potential changes and improvements.
Intercompany mentoring

The diploma thesis is dedicated to the intercompany mentoring issue, its thorough description and specific practical application in the company. The objectives are to define the intercompany mentoring as a new form of corporate learning, to analyze it in detail and to assess its benefits to the certain company. Its strengths / weaknesses and the possible opportunities and threats are found in the theoretical part via SWOT analysis. The assessment of intercompany mentoring is based on the interviews with mentors, mentees and last but not least with mentees' superiors. These semi-structured interviews are focused on finding of the strengths / weaknesses and the opportunities or threats. It means that the SWOT analysis is used also in the practical part of the thesis. The output of the thesis is the final resume and my personal improvement proposals. The results of the thesis can help those companies that are looking for new ways to develop their employees or which are hesitating to participate in the intercompany mentoring. The theoretical part summarizes current knowledge about motivation of workers and describes current trends, preferences and demands of employees. There is a research through interviews and questionnaire survey among the employees in a practical part and results are analysed. Based on these results and the information contained in the theoretical part some changes are suggested, due to which the company should have better conditions not only to keep existing employees but also to hire new ones.
