Optimizing online presentations according to the product features
Novák, David ; Horný, Stanislav (advisor) ; Krsek, Libor (referee)
The purpose of this thesis is to highlight the importance of graphic design and its visual effects in day-to-day life, notice new methods, justify relevant investments to advertisement as well as mention continuously rising demands made on professional graphic designers. The theoretical part of the thesis is based on the research article, which subject is the extent of consumers' product understanding of products being sold online. The research concludes that it is possible to choose the appropriate presentation format according to task complexity (product features) in terms of graphical and multimedia means of online presentation, such as static pictures with text captions, videos with or without narration and Virtual Product Experiences (VPE ). This is followed by the definitions of communication process and relevant standards related to web design, concluding with the description and interpretation of the most interesting and useful theoretical foundations. The main body is about implementing the theoretical findings in the real world business case including advertising campaign in a project having the purpose to give a real economic/business value. All the project phases are described from finding the business partner to the launch of brand new web service and its propagation. The new web page and other propagation materials were made in order to attract selected companies.

Jena Philharmonic Orchestra
Brůj, Zbyšek ; Štilec, Jiří (advisor) ; Bělor, Roman (referee) ; Matzner, Antonín (referee)
Graduation thesis "Jena philharmonic orchestra" deals with the specific sector of German music market - symphonic orchestra. The first part of the thesis introduces the general situation in German orchestras. Stated facts in the paper are natural consequences of the year 1989 when the western Federal Republic of Germany and the eastern German Democratic Republic united to form one state. Special attention is given to the subsequent structural changes of music organisations (including orchestras) and the way of their financing according to the tariff classes that they belong to. The second part of the paper describes organisation and structure of Jena philharmonic Orchestra and particularly the way of public funding of this regional orchestra. The focus is laid on the specific legal form of the orchestra and the existence of the individual contract between the founder and the orchestra. Business and operation of the whole orchestra are described with the help of marketing mix and the statistical facts from the metioned time period and the last few years. The diploma paper is accompanied by graphic diagrams, tables, pictures and copies of the ntern unpublished documents that the Jena philharmonic Orchestra kindly lent for this thesis. The graduation thesis Jena Orchestra has the ambition of being one of the first published documents enabling Czech readers to get some general ideas about this part of German music scene which has not been covered yet very much besides the situation in Berlin and leipzig.

Building services of near zero energy bulildings
Fikejsl, Tomáš ; Komínek, Petr (referee) ; Hirš, Jiří (advisor)
The thesis deals with the issue will be nearly zero energy. The theoretical part is divided into several chapters. Describes the requirements of applicable legislation of the Czech Republic and the EU and the application of renewable energy in these buildings. The third and last part serves as a basis for part of the experiment. Calculation section applies theoretical knowledge into practice. The subject has become a new residential building in which they are designed to ensure the technical equipment required internal environment. The proposal concerns the heating, ventilation, cooling, domestic hot water and lighting. At the end are attached graphic of energy performance certificates (PENB) and evaluated the economic and ecological point of view. The experiment deals with the measurement of the internal microclimate administrative building type in Brno, with regard to the requirements of current legislation of the Czech Republic.

Visualization of Information in Intelligent Home
Sakin, Martin ; Viktorin, Jan (referee) ; Korček, Pavol (advisor)
This thesis describes the design and implementation of a graphical application that shows the status of intellingent home. Application run directly on the adapter that communicates with sensors and actuators. Its graphical output can be displayed via the HDMI connector or remotely over X-Server. The application is implemented in C++ and using the Qt graphics libraries. The goal is simply and clearly to display important information about the household even in case of failure of the LAN.

Accelerated Neural Networks on GPU
Tomko, Martin ; Zachariášová, Marcela (referee) ; Krčma, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with the implementation of an application for artificial neural networks simulation and acceleration using a graphics processing unit. The computation and training of feedforward neural networks using the Backpropagation algorithm are the main focus of this thesis, but the application also supports other network types, and it makes it possible to extend the application with different training algorithms. Next, the application allows us to create neural networks with structural anomalies, and thus, to test the neural network's fault tolerance. The application is implemented in the C++ language, using OpenCL to manage GPU computation. The Backpropagation acceleration results were compared with the free open source library FANN.

User Interface for Application for Learning Czech Language
Tran, Thi Hang ; Brejcha, Jan (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to create an efficient graphical user interface for learning Czech language for foreigners. The approach of this work to the tuition of Czech language is different than that used for Czech children at schools. The most important part of the work was discovering needs of users and creating a suitable concept. The implementations of aforementioned application are described and, in the end, a description of an experiment with this application is described. The resulting application is web-based, available at http://czech-online.cz and it is ready for further expansion by new information sources.

Android Application for Traffic Data Visualization from Car2X Systems
Chlápek, Tomáš ; Očenášek, Pavel (referee) ; Kreslíková, Jitka (advisor)
This thesis brings application for mobile devices placed in cars. It is used for drivers for enhancing orientation and driving clarity. It is based on communication between roadside units and devices in vehicle. Application offers graphical visualization of intersection states and traffic lights.   Created solution provides graphical visualization of traffic data designated for system Android.   Main benefit is for C2X developers who test correctness of information, which were inserted to physical devices near supported intersections.

Bullying at ecclesiastic schools
Dabrowská, Václava ; Bartůšková, Ludmila (advisor) ; Kuźniar, Mariusz (referee)
The Diploma thesis "Bullying at ecclesiastic schools" first presents briefly the context of aggression at schools. Furthermore it describes the behaviour of an aggressor and his reasons to bully. It explains the keyword of a victim and shows which kinds of individuals become most frequently to be bullied. It solves the share of boys and girls on aggressive behaviour. It also takes into account the bullying from the juridical point of view, outlines the possible kinds of prevention against the bullying in families and first of all at school. This thesis also describes the consequences of the bullying on its victims. The last part of the thesis deals with proposal of possible steps to be taken in order to solve the bullying. In a practical part there are introduced two ecclesiastic Grammar schools in Prague where students of selected classes have been asked for their experiences with appearance of bullying at their school. Their answers have been examined - also in the graphical form.

SMV-2016-01: Relief structures based on diffractive optics
Horáček, Miroslav ; Kolařík, Vladimír ; Matějka, Milan ; Krátký, Stanislav ; Chlumská, Jana ; Meluzín, Petr ; Král, Stanislav

Normality tests
Kotlorz, Lukáš ; Anděl, Jiří (advisor) ; Sabolová, Radka (referee)
The aim of this thesis focused on testing normality is to describe both statistical tests and graphical methods. The first part is devoted to graphical methods used to testing normality (particularly Histogram, Boxplot and Q-Q Plot). The tests used for testing the conformity of random sample distribution with normal distribution, e.g., Shapiro-Wilk, Kolmogorov-Smirnov, Lilliefors, Anderson-Darling, Chi-squared, are described in the second part. The test statistics, the critical region and alternatively the link for tabulated critical values are listed for each test. The simulations, whether the random sample comes from normal distribution, are described in the third part. The samples from di erent distributions were generated by Program R.
