The proportion of people to provide prehospital emergency care

Bachelor thesis drala with providing pre-hospital emergency care. Specifically, I focused on the pupils of the 8th and 9th grades of primary schools and their teachers. Purpose of my thesis was to investigate the level theoretical knowledge of primary school pupils and theoretical knowledge and practical skills their teachers in first aid. Further work is to map where both groups obtained their knowledge. The work is divided into two parts. The theoretical part is dividend into individua chapters that deal with first definition of the term first aid, itsdistribution and description of emergency services. Other chapters are then devoted to the general regularities providing first aid. The following is a brief description of each condition requiring first aid, focusing on the most common injuries of children of school age and their treatment. I mention also the intoxication by alcohol and drugs in this age group. The empirical section introduces the methodology and organization of research, I conducted a quantitative method in the form of a questionnaire survey in conjunction with practical drills of basic life support with the teachers. This theme extends to respiratory arrest and blood circulation. It also offers an evaluation of the data and finally an evaluation of the objectives.

Corporate Social Responsibility and its influence on corporate image

The master thesis deals with the topic of Corporate Social Responsibility and its impact on corporate image. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the concept of CSR and the environment of a company that CSR activities relate to. Subsequently, the thesis is concerned with corporate image and on the example of several studies in this area is examining the relationship between corporate social responsibility, company's image and purchasing behavior of consumers. The next chapter is focused on communication of socially responsible activities, as accuracy and efficiency of corporate communication may influence perception of corporate image and consequently customer's purchase intention. The next section analyzes the diverse portfolio of socially responsible activities of the Bosch Group that the author got to know thanks to an opportunity of a one year internship at this company. The Bosch CSR program represents an example of consistently planned CSR activities that are a part of a long-term corporate strategy. The last chapter of the thesis includes an own survey, in which the author focuses on the consumers' knowledge about the concept of socially responsible behavior, about trends in development and in particular about its effect on firms' image and purchasing behavior of customers. Results of the survey are compared with related surveys and studies.

Proposition of the Nature Trail in the National Park Divoka Sarka including the Didactic Utilization at lower secondary school.

The subject of the rigorous work is the proposition of the nature trail in the national park Divoká Šárka including the didactic utilization in the course of biology lessons at the primary school. The theoretical part contains the description of the territory including the geographic definition and the profile of individual categories of plant, animal and geographical comhonents. Simultaneously there are mentioned the historical relations in the region corresponding to the conterporary appearance of the landscape and that of biological diversities and the manners of the care resulting out of that. The main target of the rigorous work was to create proposals of notice boards for the nature trail that is to be implemented in this national park and its nearby surroundings. Notice boards should serve to increase the knowladge of the poblic concerning this region and simultaneously to guide it to the more responsible conduct in this site. Owing to the accessability by means of public municipal transport the site is suitable for the organization of school educational visits. For that reason there were elaborated working sheets that correspond to the subjects of notice boards of the nature trail, but at the same time i tis possible to use them with minor changes for another site. Hospice care to improve the quality of life of the dying

This diploma thesis is mostly theoretical. It is focused on helping people at the end of their lives and on helping their relatives. It offers a complete view of hospice care in the Czech Republic. It deals with its development, analysis of provided care and its status in the system of care about clients. In detail it is focused on specific needs of dying clients and the methods of work, which fulfill these needs in terms of hospice care. Main idea of this work is oriented to individual social pedagogical methods which are used during accompanying dying patients. The aim of this thesis is to show the way how to help them to pass away with dignity and without suffering.

Alternatives to unconditional imprisonment

Josef Hrstka: Alternatives to unconditional imprisonment Abstract The main purpose of this thesis called "Alternatives to unconditional imprisonment" lies in the evaluation of the current alternatives to unconditional imprisonment in the Czech penal law focusing mostly on the substantive aspects of alternative punishments in the narrower conception. Author tried to present proposals based on studying literature, laws, judicial decisions and comparison with foreign legislations, which could lead to improving Czech legal regulation in this area. The thesis is composed of 8 chapters. In the introductory chapter readers are informed about content of the thesis, purpose of the thesis and methods used. Next three chapters deal with topics related to the purpose and functions of punishment, the benefits of alternatives to imprisonment and factors, which counteract against the efforts to reduce prison population. Author deemed necessary to analyze purpose of punishment, before he examined specific alternatives. Author tried to show that some conception of the purpose of punishment supports the use of alternatives to imprisonment, but attention must be also paid to social and economic conditions of offenders. Gold in culture

Thesis titled Gold in Culture deals with the phenomenon of gold as a part of the human cul ture. It shows the role of gold in the human cultural history. Based on the basic syllabus, that the phenomenon of gold must be explored in two peculiar levels, material and symbolical, the thesis has been composed to interpret gold especially in context with human history, the history of the corporeal culture and the human imagination. Preamble chapter defines gold and its elementary physical and chemical characteristics, due to which this metal gained its irreplaceable position in the human culture. Next extensive chapter describes the evolvement of the relationship between gold and men, gold mining and gold processing in various historical period s, but also deals with its influence on shaping history of humankind, followed by chapter in which the symbolic and materiallevel of gold organically pervade. Further chapters analyze symbolic approach to gold in mythology, fairy-tales, legend s and Christianity. Last chapter is devoted to the reversed symbolism of gold in the Thomas More utopia. The thesis analyses marketing strategy of Axe brand which belongs to portfolio of brands of Unilever. Theoretic part contains basic information about issues connected to brand such as it's importance, basic concepts and building brand's value. Particular sections include the questions of marketing management and marketing mix. The aplicational part introduces the market od deodorants and basic trends on this market. This part describes the strategy of Axe in Czech Republic and the market where the brand is struggling it's position for. Attention is given to marketing activities in 2006 - 2007 and their results and effects on the position of the brand among others.

Run on the organic food: Research in sample of prague inhibitants

This diploma thesis is concerned with different aspects of organic food demand in the Czech Republic. Five main goals were set in this work: 1) briefly describe the history and the current estate of the organic farming and the organic market in the Czech republic and in the European union 2) with the help of quantitative research analyze people's awareness of organic food 3) analyze key motives for buying organic products and barriers to a greater demand for organic food 4) analyze the willingness to pay for organic products 5) uncover some relations between socio-demographic characteristics of the respondents and their buying of organic food. The thesis is organized as follows. In the first chapter we describe the main principles of organic farming. Also, we briefly described the rise, the progress and the current estate of organic farming in the Czech Republic and in the European Union. Discussed in this chapter is also the link between the organic farming and the concept sustainable development. Economic and social connections of suburbanization in municipality Lety

The aim of this thesis is to create optimal strategy of developement of municipality Lety which is located in suburban area of Prague given suburbanization processes. This paper is focused on economic, social and environmental consequences. The theoretical part is focused on main parameters of suburbanization, its developement in the world and in the Czech Republic, further on types of suburbanization, measurement, causes and consequences. The practical part is focused on a municipality Lety which must face suburbanization processes since 90s. This situation is compared with neighboring municipalities Řevnice, Dobřichovice and Černošice. Based on the findings is created optimal plan of future develepoment municipality Lety which is consistent with its strategical and spatial plan. The methods that has been used on this topic were literature review, data analysis, comparison and observation. To process the data, official statistics were also used.

Chosen Destination Potencial on the Tourism Industry Market in the Czech Republic

The diploma thesis deals with the field of tourism industry. After a general definition of a broader context and key terms, the basic theoretical approaches to assessing the potential of tourism and the division of its assumptions are evaluated and compared, as well as its typology is outlined. Subsequently, the investigated destination of Podzvičinsko is defined territorially, and the studied theoretical approaches are applied in its description and a detailed inventory of attractions. Further, structured interviews with experts were conducted. The next step was to compile a questionnaire and its distribution to the wider public in order to find out data about potential visitors. On the basis of the provided information, the participants were divided into respective target segments. Specific tourism products have been designed for these segments which maximally correspond to the segments profiles, their goals and possibilities. The findings identified during the structured interviews and in the questionnaires also defined negatively perceived aspects of the destination, and measures were proposed for their improvement.
