Nietzsche and Kafka
Král, Matěj ; Petříček, Miroslav (advisor) ; Vojvodík, Josef (referee) ; Zbytovský, Štěpán (referee)
This dissertation deals with the relations between the philosophy of Friedrich Nietzsche and the literary work of Franz Kafka. It particularly focuses on the following issues: The uprootedness of (not only modern) human existence and the instability of interpretation of any phenomenon. It is further concerned with the themes of salvation, suffering and death. The indistinguishability of life and death, God, the death of God, and the relationship to a transcendent authority are also discussed. Moreover, the dissertation examines the concepts of the sublime and the noble in nature and in human existence, especially with regard to the relation between an individual and their community. The unjustifiability of the power of judging, uncertainty and the value of suspension of judgment are analyzed as well. It comments also on the topics of the end of life, the end of history and the conception of time exempt from the expectation of an end. Furthermore, it addresses the relations of Nietzsche and Kafka to the present and to the possible future of the world (primarily with reference to the organization of a communication space, to religion, to the concept of the sacred, and to the potential changes of human nature). Correlation of the economic growth and consumption in the Czech Republic
Škorpil, Marek ; Čermáková, Klára (advisor) ; Mirvald, Michal (referee)
The topic of this work is the correlation of the economic growth and final consumption of households in the Czech Republic during the years 2000 - 2008. This work is concerned with the creation of income and consequent consumer behaviour of households. At the dawn of this period is possible to observe ambiguous trend of average propensity to consume (save) but from the 2004 the average propensity to consume (save) has declined (grown). The aim was to confirm the thesis that household derives its consumption not only from the income level, but also from the nominal interest rates. The presumption was not proved probably due to incorrect specification of the model. In this work, the relation between consumption and GDP is not tested directly, but by using the disposable income. On the basis of the successful testing of dependence between particular variables, this work tries to create a model of consumption dependent on the GDP and disposable income. Due to high collinearity between the independent variables, the presumption wasn't confirmed.

The Tool for a Radial Expanding of Tubes by Liquid
Horák, Michal ; Lidmila, Zdeněk (referee) ; Peterková, Eva (advisor)
The submitted diploma thesis is focused on problematic of a radial expanding of tubes. In the first part of thesis, there is a summary of possible theoretical formulas for determining the stress-strain material parameters for biaxial bulging test of tube by liquid. Also there are showed several options for testing tools used in research abroad. The work also contains technological and control calculations for the selected test sample from the tube of steel 17 240 (1.4301). At the end of thesis, there are key points for tool design and there is also presented the proposed the test tool for a radial expanding of test sample of tube to the free space and with firmly fixed the ends of tube in the tool.

Use of automated robotic system for surface treatment of materials
PROLL, Jan
In this thesis I deal with the project of a robotic apparatus that could be used for material treatment by using the gliding arc discharge as well as the appropriate design and choice of materials for the atmospheric pressure discharge jet with regards to a possibility of an industrial use. The input and output parameters were studied, such as the air flow regulation with regards to cooling, the design and choice of materials. Then I observed the temperatures near electrodes depending on the air flow. The applicability of the created atmospheric discharge was taken into account.

Design and production of a plastic komponent
ČÍŽEK, Václav
The theoretical part is focused on evaluation of chosen ?essential? plastics used in the car industry. The principles of construction and proportioning of plastic components, basic conception of injection moulding and measuration follow. Another section of the theoretical part presents a summary of possible CAD systems, which are used. The practical part is focused on a particular plastic moulding. It includes the main description of a component with its material choice in dependence on the component function. Another section contains evaluation of the component complexity from the viewpoint of moulding, and a possible substitution of constructions, which could be productively simpler, is shown. The whole thesis is completed for better lucidity by pictures, drawings, and mechanical drawings.

Pospíšil_abstrakt v AJ.txt Resumé Matěj Pospíšil The Church of Annunciation in Norbertian Abbey in Teplá This paper is monographic description of architecture of Abbey church in Teplá, with accent on original form from the beginning of the 13th century. The monastery was found in West Bohemia by noble Hroznata, as a compensation of participation abandon in crusade. The Abbey church was constructed perhaps from 1193 till 1232, when it was dedicated. It has form of three-aisled hall with transept, with main choir with two smaller choir chapels aside. Two towers are built above the western frontispiece. It's the oldest hall church in Bohemia. Its hall form appears from the form of group of Bavarian hall churches, the towers have resonance of incoming Gothic, as it can be seen in Bamberg. The original choir part was replaced by choir polygon about the year of 1300. The interior of church passed in 17th and 18th century baroque adjustment. This remarkable monument reflects the variety of architecture of Central Europe in early 13th century. Retirement home
Grigarová, Karolína ; Bartolšicová, Eva (referee) ; Matějka, Libor (advisor)
The aim of my diploma thesis is to elaborate project documentation for the execution of a new building home for elderly people. The intention is to construct a new apartment building for pensioners who are able to do activities of daily living. There can be found 24 lease flats for a maximum of 30 accommodated people. The home offers 12 hours care service and has rooms for carers, dining rooms, places for rehabilitation, outpatient care and stores for keeping accommodated people’s things. The whole area has wheelchair access and counts with the movement of people with reduced mobility. The building is designed as brick, using clay blocks which are put on concrete foundation strips. Thermal insulation is a combination of contact thermal insulation system and ventilated facade with hanging plates. The roofing is designed partly as a float double-shell roof with timber truss girder, and partly as a single-shell roof with concrete load-bearing structure. The drawing documentation has been created using computer programs AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, and the programs by doc. Dr. Ing. Zbyněk Svoboda (Teplo, Area, Stabilita, Simulace) and another simple computer programs like Excel were used for the thermal assessment.

As the main material of load bearing elements was used a steel S355. The hall is designed for exhibitions and social occasions. The work contains a statical calculation, which assessed individual cross sections and joins.

Transforming of Executive Coalitions in Prague in the Electoral Period 2010-2014
Horký, Miroslav ; Švec, Kamil (advisor) ; Říchová, Blanka (referee)
The aim of this diploma thesis Transforming of Executive Coalitions in Prague in the Electoral Period 2010 - 2014 is to analyze influences, which have an important role in a process of establishing executive coalitions and also in their stability. The analysis is based on a classical theory of coalitions, discursive analysis, interviews with direct participants and on official documents. One of the aims is to describe the level of possibility in application of theoretical concepts of coalition theory in the area of Prague's political system. There are many points of view, from which we look at stability and forming of coalitions. For example, very important point of view is an influence of making and implementing politics or an influence of politicians from national level. A big importance is focused on negotiating between participants, their statements in media and their real steps and decisions. The intention of this thesis is not an invention of general model which should be applied on similar local system, but to explain and describe the uniqueness of Prague local system and the election period of 2010 - 2014.

Konstrukce výnosové křivky
Antas, Vilém ; Stádník, Bohumil (advisor) ; Teplý, Petr (referee)
The goal of this thesis is to analyze the mathematical apparatus of the most widespread methods used for the yield curves construction. It aims to introduce not only the various of construction models but also to describe the whole process of creation, while discussing the advantages and disadvantage of individual methods. The first chapter focus on the general theory and the use of the term structure of interest rates in practice. The second part deals with the construction process itself and describes the most frequently used methods. The last chapter then shows the real application of selected methods on given data set and the use of the constructed yield curves for interest rate derivative valuation too.
