Economic impacts of active employment politics

One of the priorities not only of active employment politics of Czech Republic is employing people with a disability. State social system provides a complex support for these people in their difficult situation. If this system is supposed to cover their basic problem, it has to find the best ways to help disabled people to become independent. The necessary presumption is employing a particular person. Protected labor market was established within Czech Republic's social system, which should not be subjected to strong competitive forces or competitive forces within businesses, but is completely dependent on government subsidies. The process of disabled people's return to the free labor market is however a concept that requires a cooperation from the government, disabled people themselves and also the employers. The thesis deals with the development of legislation in Czech Republic related to employing disabled people. It rates the efficiency of already established measures and a way of creating a motivation for employers, who employ or are obligated to employ people with disabilities.

Aging in the country

A man goes through several development periods in their life; and the ultimate stage is the old age. Today's middle age generation is awaiting a very long journey towards their well-deserved rest, and therefore it is necessary to change some patterns of thinking and behaviour in view of old age and aging generation. Every man should realize that they themselves will be old and reliant on the help of others one day, and adapt their behaviour and thinking accordingly now because not only every person but every senior deserves to be supported and encouraged enough to have a will and interest to live a quality life filled with an active interest in themselves and their surroundings, as well as to feel dignified, wanted and confident, not pushed to the edge of society, imprisoned in their loneliness and uncertainty.

System of Selection and Management of Adaptation of Employess

The topic of the thesis deals with the selection and adaptation of employees. The main aim is to compile suggestions for the chosen company, which will be used for partial or complete elimination of detected weaknesses in personnel activities. Partial objectives include tasks focused on a literature review, characterizing the company, realizing questionnaire survey and personal interviews with employees, evaluation and display of the acquired information. The thesis has two parts. The theoretical part observes briefly the development of human resources, human resources management and describes personnel activities. More deeply are described personnel activities, which are related to the provision of human resources for the company. This area includes recruitment, selection, employment and adaptation of employees. Currently, the adaptation of employees is among those activities, which are the most neglected and overlooked by companies. In the practical part is introduced the company Trendy, s. r. o. and described its approach to recruitment, selection and adaptation of employees. The evaluation of the selection and adaptation process is done by a questionnaire method and personal interviews with employees. In the final part are drafted partial measures, which are designed to improve not only the adaptation process, but also to develop the selection process.

Economic Impacts of Social Policy on Selected Sectors of the Czech Economy

We live in the 21st century, when more than ever solves finance, economy in terms of both the individual and the state, but also the European Union, which affects every Member State and the Czech Republic is no exception. State economic situation continues to affect both small and large companies, entrepreneurs and individuals who under the influence of the surrounding developments make decisions affecting not only the present but also the future. Economic decisions impinge on the functioning of the state authorities, which is taking steps to support the decision given on the company, such as electronic records of sales, taxation and other laws affecting their business. This impacts directly or indirectly to a particular individual moving in the country's economy. The aim of the dissertation is to express the economic impact in terms of social policy on selected sectors of the Czech economy, both theoretically and practically. The economic impact of social policy affects the financial situation of the economically active population who are hit by unexpected life situations. It is degraded in the social position due to declining economic level, which is then inadequate and social policies often do not sufficiently take into account the economic situation of the individual before and after the establishment of that situation. And the individual is often unable to adequately use the possibilities that social policy allows. The main reason is a lack of awareness, that should act on the individual before the emergence of the situation and create awareness in the people about the possibilities of resolving the situation. Unexpected life situations addressed by social policy, which is also solvable through its tools, job loss or inability to continue to engage in employment. Both options associated with a decrease in working capacity, which addresses social policy through the provision of disability pensions. These covers Czech Social Security Administration through district administrations throughout the country. The State influences the amount of disability pensions minimum the setting of wages, the basis of assessment, determination of the percentage amount of disability pension, including its reduction limits or minimum time required insurance. The aforementioned indicators in the calculation of invalidity pension, which becomes a very individual matter, but is influenced by the rules of 441,000 persons receiving this pension, which in the third. stage reaches an average amount of 10 262 CZK. With this funding slightly higher than the minimum wage, individuals must manage and deal with the new situation. Economic impacts caused by unexpected life situation affects not only the individual himself, but also its surroundings. To eliminate these negative economic impacts serve other instruments of social policy that could improve the financial situation. However, this is a significant administrative burden for which the required knowledge about the possibilities, which include care allowances, mobility allowances, certificate of persons with disabilities, but also the opportunity to appeal against the decision of the Czech Social Security Administration to withdraw and so improve its economic situation.

Church restitution and analysis within

The year 1989 is an important milestone in the modern history of Czechoslovakia and later the Czech Republic. This year started a search for answers to many important questions, injustices and related remedies. It includes not only moral issues but also property relations among our state and individuals or legal entities.
My bachelor work on the theme The Church restitution and its analysis focuses especially on property injustices, although the moral side of these matters reflects in them deeply. The view on possible damages or justifications with churches in our country is described here. The history and development of this problem is given from the beginning to its approval and coming into force of the law no. 428/2012 Collection, on property settlement with churches and religious societies dated December 5, 2012 effective from January 1, 2013.
The main purpose of this work is to analyze the financial expenses according to the old legislation (Act no. 218/1949 Coll.) compared to financial expenses expected after the adoption of the law on church property settlement and religious societies from the state budget based on the trends of this issue. The assessment of the benefits of new legislation against the previous law is the crucial output of this work. The practical part is also marginally focused on one of the organizational units of the Czech Republic Office of the Government Representation in Property Affairs.

Historical demographic trends of the parish in Bzenec

This master s thesis describes historical demographic trends in a small southern moravian town of Bzenec, which lies in a rich countryside of Lower Moravian ravine, mostly covered with vineyards. In this case, historical demographic trend means population and social evolution of this town. Main research is mostly pointed on statistics of births, marriages and deaths of Bzenec citizens, who were registered in a church registry books of births, marriages and deaths, which were run by the Bzenec parish. This thesis also researches a data of a total population evolution of people, who lived in Bzenec, as well as their professions and names and surnames of males and females. Main goal of the thesis was to make a little summery of a population trend between the years of 1850 and 2014 in the southern Moravia. Statistic of births describes the period of years 1855/1904, statistic of marriages describes years of 1883/1932 and statistic od deaths describes the era between years 1867/1916. All these data were framed with the total population evolution trends during the period of above mentioned 164 years, era of 1850/2014. Minor goal of the thesis was to make the town of Bzenec more known among people and to apprise the general public about church registry books and an (not only) archive researches, because this could increase researches and studies of history, which could (and the thesis-author wishes that) lead to the better understanding of our past. It is sad, that if we would like to understand the present times, we have to understand the past first.
Practical part of the thesis, mentioned above, is supported by its theorethical part, that talks mostly about the church registry books and the town of Bzenec, but also about the rituals connected to birth, marriage and death.

Temperament, character, behavior and exploitation of horses

This bachelor thesis gathers the existing knowledge from the sphere of ethology,general animal breeding, biology, genetics and hipology and it tries to complete them by the newest methods and information which are related to this topic.
In the beginning it is discussed about the horse´s behaviour which can be inherent, acquired and about conduct disorders that is more or less connected to the topic of the follow- up thesis- the temperament. The temperament is in this thesis the most comprehensive theme because it predetermines horses not only to some specific behaviour, to specific using,but it is also seen in the character of each equine individuals. So it is inseperable part of each seconds of horse´s life.
How vital is the equine individual, it requires the distinctive access of other horses and of course of people. For the owners,riders, keepers and for everyone who comes to contact with a horse, it is very important to be able to understand how the horse behaves and why does it do in this way. How much is it useful criterion for the choice of a horse to the breeding? What about the temperament and the genetics?
These questions were the springboard for the writing of the biggest part of this thesis. After chapters which are dedicated to the temperament, it is focused to the next interesting characteristic of the horse´s personality which deserves more detail analysis ( than it is allowed in this thesis), and it is the character of the horse.
Regarding to all past characteristics it is shortly described to which purposes it is possible to use horses.

Mormons and the polygamy

The bachelor thesis applies to polygyny in Church of Jesus Christ of Letter-Day
Saints, its past and present. It contains part which describes history of church, because it is
significant for the very evolution of polygyny and the attention is especially given directly
to history of polygyny. There are not many sources in Czech language, which describe the
theme of thesis and that is why the foreign language sources had to be used. Then the
members of church were asked to answer questions prepared in advance and they also
spoke freely about that theme. The method used for gaining informations from church
members was interview, which technique was personal meeting. The answers from this
interviews are included in the whole thesis, mostly in the part of research for which they
are main source of information. The thesis is not only theoretic and its contribution is not
merely composing little known theme. But its main benefits are answers of informers,
which help to specificate and complete the view of this problem in the present.

The climate in Ždár Peaks as described in documentary sources

The Protected Landscape Area Žďárské vrchy is in this bacherol´s work "The climate in Žďár Peaks as described in documentary sources" put into climate-historic context, particularly with regard to frequency of meteorological extremes and their impact on society. The importance is enhanced by the mere fact, that for the inhabitants of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands, the knowledge of the then climate was a key for success-not only in economic development, but mainly in personal life, where this knowledge played a crucial role for their survival.
The starting point of this thesis is the definition of the discussed area, the definition of documentary sources from the perspective of climate and the characteristics of weather extremes. Historical data were taken from archives, mainly from nearby archives and from chronicles from the region of Žďárské vrchy and surrounding areas. The core for this thesis is the period before 1900, when scientific measurements were not used. Valuable reports are then the records of weather, climate conditions, catastrophes, but also about the deaths of bell-ringers. The information about grain fertility, crops or harvests are important, as well. According to character of the weather in the chosen area, the records are divided into author´s own seven-stage scale of extreme phenomena and they are put into local and regional context. The assessment is carried out by using tables, in which years are characterised according to genuine climatic conditions. Despite deviations caused by insufficient amount of data and inaccurate measurement, the data in question are similar to other observed proxy data. The study of climate in the Protected Landscape Area Žďárské vrchy in historical context can supplement climate-historical database and other research.
Climate of the past centuries in the region Žďárské vrchy shows that extreme events were common in there. Every year, people had to cope with harsh weather conditions. Why is then the question of weather extremes still open? The future threatens with global climate changes. If people do not stop governing the nature, the natural climate cycle will disrupt anthropogenic evolution.

Historical times of plague - associated with climate

This bachelor thesis is concerned with occurrence of historical plague epidemics and their connection primarily with the origins and progress in the course of climate change. First part of the thesis is a summary of general information about the plague as a term and as a disease. Next part is briefly concerned with the vastest presence of the plague in Europe, predominantly in Bohemia and Moravia. Last but one section focuses on the plague in connection with not only climate changes but also with short-term weather conditions. In conclusion of the work is involved personal adaptation of historical weather conditions within the plague period in Bohemia and Moravia as well as a perspective on reciprocal link between these conditions during these years.
