Methods of Stakeholder Identification in Evaluation

This text deals with the issue of identification of stakeholders in the evaluation. The concept of stakeholders is defined first, and the characteristics of the evaluation approaches are presented. Later is presented the position of the world evaluation societies on the stakeholders. There are four methods of stakeholder identification: 1) Brainstorming, 2) General list, 3) Questions and 4) The snowball method. Own research focuses on methods of identification of stakeholders in evaluations in the Czech Republic. Data sources are evaluations of OP and ROP programs. Secondary and content data analysis was used to analyse the data. The result of the research is that specific methods of stakeholder identification have not been applied in OP and ROP evaluations. Based on the results of the research, a new procedure for identification of stakeholders in the evaluation was formulated.
Personal, Professional and Social Qualities of a Project Manager

The MA thesis is divided to two basic parts. First of them is dealing with personal, social and professional knowledge of a project manager and the second one is mapping the education of soft skills at Czech universities where the subject of study "Information Studies and Librarianship" is taught. The theoretical part is devoted to project management. The attention is devoted to basic terms from project management's area, it represents the most well-known project methodologies, it defines particular roles of a project manager and most importantly the part is dealing with particular competences, which should be commanded by a project manager. The last chapter of theoretical part is devoted to an analysis of the three most well-known project methodologies. The practical part is mapping the situation at universities - namely which subjects they offer within the education of soft skills and how the teachers are working with the subject. Other activities of universities within the education and the development of soft skills are also given. Further the examples of subjects with the same topic taught at American universities are listed. In the end of thesis the recommendation how to improve the quality of teaching soft skill at Czech universities are given. And also which topics could be put among optional...

In my theses I focus on analysis of three international private market companies. Company GEFCO ČESKÁ REPUBLIKA s.r.o. , Dalkia a.s. a ABB a.s. With this companies I'm interested in the way how they practice corporate social responsibility (CSR). When I was choosing this companies I considered facts as: Company has to have head quarter in Western Europe Company has to have experience with corporate social responsibility and has to practice CSR and has to organize social responsible activities. All chosen companies are leaders in its business sector. In my theses I will focus on overview about CSR activities of companies, mainly on corporate philanthropy. I will focus on cooperation of these companies and non government organization, I'm interested in concrete activities done by NGOs in cooperation with through CSR and how NGOs perceived activities that are done through CSR. I'm interested in the way how companies involve their employees into CSR. I 'm going to aim if subsidiaries and head quarters practice same CSR activities and using same CSR tools. Causes and consequences of hostile takeovers in Corporate Governance

The essential goal of this bachelors thesis is to analyse the most important reasons, causes and consequences of hostile takeovers in corporate governance, and to do so on selected cases from the real corporate world. The structure of this thesis is divided into two parts. First is the theoretical part about the theory of corporate governance with its focus on the subject of takeovers. In the second part is the analysis of specific cases of hostile takeovers in the corporate world. The goal of this thesis is to extrapolate from these examples to show how they can be applied to the Czech economy, and also to show how recommendations can be derived from them.
Project Management of small projects and its application to internal project of industrial company

Master's Thesis deals with project management of minor projects and its utilization in industrial company in environment with minimal knowledge of project management. Thesis is based on analysis of internal project in the department Transpormangement in the company SKODA AUTO a.s. The goal of the thesis is to create an effective recommendation of workflow which will be exploitable in future similar projects. The author examines internal project through methodologies for Change management and Project management used in company. The author sets recommendations in problem area of stakeholders, communication and risks.
A Proposition of Corporate Social Responsibility System Implementation in a Chosen Company

As its name suggests, the objective of the thesis is a proposition of corporate social responsibility system implementation in Saint-Gobain Sekurit ČR, s. r. o. The theoretical part generally concentrates on corporate social responsibility focusing on the norm ISO 26000. This norm was followed while creating the system for the chosen company. In the practical part, ten steps of implementation are performed, including an analysis of the chosen operations which are executed by the company with emphasis on socially responsible ones. In addition to the executed operations, the thesis proposes other operations that would be in correspondence with the social responsibility system. After following the aspects of the thesis, a company could consider itself socially responsible.
Management and Organisation of Football Clubs in the Czech Republic

The main target of this thesis is to analyze and evaluate the corporate governance of three professional clubs which operate in the I. or II. football league in the Czech Republic. The thesis will be based on theoretical knowledge and recommendation from the corporate governance of business companies but also with a focus on sports clubs, or directly football clubs. In the practical part I will make a research in three clubs with focusing mostly on the function of the executive organs, employees and their relationship with owners. Furthermore, I will focus on finding out the administrative structures and discovering primary and secondary stakeholders in the various clubs.
Methods for cost estimation in the planning of projects

This work is focused on the problem of IS/ICT project cost estimation. Main aim of this work is to design a methodology, which can be use for project cost estimation in the initial part of the project stadium. Defining a basic terms of the project management and describing the most widely use cost estimation metods are the first step to archive main aim. This will be achived by studing literature and relevant articles of the project management. Next step is find an appropriate factors which help to set up the methodology. This factors can derive from a stakeholder's analysis. After definition these factors there si possible to set up a particular methodology. Universality (for a wide group of the projects), accuracy (to determine a particular method) and usability (in the initial part of the project stadium) are the most important criteria to review this methodology. Finally, it is necessary to evaluate the proposed methodology. This can be achieved by comparing the methods recommended in the methodology and the methods actually used for the real project cost estimation. The expected benefits of this work are the most widely use cost estimation metods arrangement and creation of the recommended metodology which can be used to cost estimation of future projects.
Relationships among interested parties in the context of IS/ICT project management

The thesis is focused on project management of IS/ICT projects, more specifically on the area concerning relationships among parties involved in IS/ICT project. The thesis presents two main contributions to the area of IS/ICT project management. Firstly, the thesis provides systematic order of available information in the area of relationships, and hence enables easy orientation in the area. This contribution is achieved via analysis of information contained in project management methodologies, IT Governance/IT Management standards, ISO standards, legislation and continual process improvement concept. Such analysis is followed by synthesis resulting in conceptual model of relationships among parties involved in IS/ICT projects. Secondly, the thesis provides recommendations that prevent potential problems to arise in the area of relationships among parties involved in IS/ICT projects. This contribution is achieved via application of conceptual model in the environment of real IS/ICT project, and consequent derivation of knowledge originating from problems of this project.
