Recruitment and selection of employees-players in team of NHL

This Bachelor's Thesis is focused on recruitment and selection of employees in very specific environment, which is NHL and its rules and regulations on recruiting and selection of players into the teams. The Thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. Theoretical part is about basic principles and knowledge of these HR activities (recruitment and selection) based on academic literature. The practical part is focused on recruitment and selection of employees-players to NHL teams. This part contains information about processes of headhunting of new employees-players and their selection. The goal of this Thesis is to describe those processes in this specific environment and evaluate them. At the end are added recommendations of possible improvements.
The recruitment and selection of employees in Czech Airlines, a.s.

This Bachelor´s thesis is dealing with analyse of the recruitment and selection process in Czech Airlines, a.s. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part includes background information and clarification of general terminology in areas of personal activities, planning, recruitment and selection of employees. The practical part is focused on introduction of the company, description of the process of recruitment and selection of employees within the company. The aim of this thesis is to identify strengths and weaknesses of the company in areas of personal activities. This part is based on the use of following methods: interview with HR manger, survey and analysis of the internal materials. The contributions of the thesis are suggestions for improvement of recruitment processes and their efficiency.
New Recruitment procedures

This Diploma Thesis is focused on new procedures in recruitment. Special attention is primarily given to online recruitment and coherent social networks. The major objective is to assess recruitment procedure in a particular company, especially whether and to what extent the company focuses on external environment, accepts current trends and applies new methods of recruitment. Based on superior enquiry, the analysis of current state of the recruitment process was made. As a next step, using comparison of this analysis with the theoretical foundations led to identification of weaknesses and strengths of the process. It was found that analysed company is trying to accept new trends, however, there were identified drawbacks, which could be eliminated by introduction of formulated optimization proposals.
Recruitment and selection of employees for a manufacturing company

The target of this dissertation work is the process of analysis of recruitment and selection of employees for a manufacturing company. The strength and weakness of this process depends on acquired information and knowledge. The contribution of this work consists of specific improvements and recommendations in this domain which can help increase the effectiveness in recruitment and selection of employees. The basis for the empirical part of this work consists of consultations with employees of the HR department and the analysis of internal materials. This system is compared with theoretical and generally valid principles. Questionnaire enquiry, with cooperation of new employees and employees of HR department, are used in the second phase. Respondents are asked about the satisfaction of the processes applied in hiring. Employees of HR department are questioned regarding the procedure used in hiring of new employees.
Recruiting and selection employees in cultural NGOs.

This thesis deals with processes of recruitment and selection of employees in cultural non-profit organizations. The main goal is to describe the methods used for recruitment and selection in these organizations, compare these methods with theoretical methods and identify the specifics of recruitment and selection, which are recognized by key actors in the process. The theoretical part describes the main aprroaches to the recruitment and selection of employees, defines NGOs in general and the part of NGOs that mediate cultural activities to the public. The research uses qualitative design and depth interviews with leaders of cultural NGOs, in order to describe a method of recruiting and selecting employees and to reveal the specifics of cultural NGOs in these processes.
Use of Internet for Talent Acquisition

This diploma thesis presents the current knowledge on the use of internet for the purpose of talent acquisition. Its main objective is to determine to what extent organizations emphasize this knowledge in practice. For this purpose the first chapter refers to the academic compilation of talent management concept. The aim is to define the term of talent within the talent management concept as well as within the personal management. The second charter presents the academic compilation in the field of recruitment focused on specifics in talented individuals acquiring. The third chapter presents current knowledge of internet recruitment. Next chapters focus on recruitment in practice by analyzing the online recruitment documentation of three specific organizations. Based on this analysis, it is apparent, that the surveyed organizations accentuate current trends to a large extent. Attraction and recruitment of university graduates: different perspectives of interested parties

5 Abstract This diploma thesis titled as Attraction and recruitment of university graduates: different perspectives of interested parties discusses the possible implementation of graduate recruitment within different organization. The text is divided into a theoretical part, which outlines the basic terminology and describes human resource activities connected with graduate recruitment and possible psychological profile and characteristics of graduates. The following chapters discuss situations that affect the perception of graduates in the labour market. The last chapter describes the available studies and investigations related to the evaluation of processes by participants. The empirical part focuses on the recruitment and selection of graduates in five different companies. The qualitative approach was used and semi-structured interviews were held with recruiters and graduates. The empirical part includes a comparison of processes in different companies, evaluate websites in the context of graduate recruitment and discuss the aspects of these processes, such as the perceived length of selection procedures, salary expectations of graduates and among other findings, what was most important to graduates when considering job offers. The comparison of personnel marketing in non-profit and for profit sector

The subject of my Bachelor Thesis is to characterize and analyse personnel marketing as a tool of human resources management and to clarify its contribution for both non-profit and for profit sector and its follow-up comparison between these sectors, based on the assumption of existining differences between personnel marketing in for profit and non-profit sector. The practical use of personnel marketing is demonstrated and analysed by using the example of national representation of international student organization AIESEC, AIESEC Czech Republic, as a non-profit sector representative and undisclosed for profit company from the Financial Services sector, Financial Institution XY, p.l.c., for comparison of different approaches, methods and strategies. The main channels and tools of internal and external personnel marketing are evaluated by using quantitative analysis from available data and qualitative analysis based on own experince or discussion with Personnel Marketing department of the Financial Institution. The existing differences in personnel marketing approaches and media channels are compared and confirmed on the grounds of these findings. Furthermore, the Thesis analyses potential risks and offers possible solutions to improving the current situation, that lies in mutual inspiration and cooperation between for profit and non-profit sector, that would result in higher effectivity of personnel marketing of both of the sectors.

The aim of the thesis is to analyze personnel activities of employee recruitment and selection in Mafra, a.s. company and propose recommendations to enhance effectiveness of these activities. The theoretical part defines the theoretical basis of personal work, personal activities of recruitment and selection of employees and the profile of the modern recruiter. The practical part contains analysis of the activities of recruitment and selection of employees, own research conducted in the form of a questionnaire and an interview with company recruiter. In the last section recommendations to increase the effectiveness of personnel activities are designed based on the analysis and research.

This master thesis focuses on the recruitment of employees provided by recruitment agency PŘEDVÝBĚR.CZ. The work is composed of two main sections, the theoretical part and the survey. The theoretical part defines the terminology used in the thesis and describes the processes of recruitment. The part consists of information gathered from the professional literature. The recruitment agency is described in the survey first. Then comes the data analysis. The data were gathered during interviews with both the top management of the agency and the recruitment consultants. The conclusions of the thesis are based on the gathered data.
