Kupr, Pavel ; Bunc, Václav (advisor) ; Strejcová, Barbora (referee)
INVIDUAL MOVEMENT PROGRAM TO INFLUENCE FITNESS AND AFFECT BODY WEIGHT Aims: The main aim of this thesis is to influence the fitness assumptions and to affect the body weight of a chosen person on the basis of an applied intervention program. Particular aims involve creating the intervention program, its fulfillment and practical verification, confirmation of defined hypotheses, stating and particulary explaining the differences between measured dates before and after the intervention and formulating relevant conclusions and recommendations.. Methods: The research method used in the thesis was an experiment. Its basis was creation and especially application of the six months lasting training program and further testing in laboratory conditions before and after the intervention. Results: The controlled person fulfilled the training program without complications and in a full scale. The created interventional program involved aerobic activities (running), bodybuilding and other activities (fitbox, cycling, in-line skating, swimming) without adjusting nutrition habits or an eventual diet. The feed-back tests showed/proved that the condition assumptions of the controlled person distincively improved in all chosen function parameters. Requested weight reduction though was not achieved. Key words:...

Skochová, Jana ; Kolčiterová, Jana (advisor) ; Vindušková, Jitka (referee)
TITLE Physical fitness and Movement activity of children in Otrokovice AIM: The main aim of this Dissertation thesis is to ascertain the physical fitness level of children in Primary school in Otrokovice. The next task is to find out if athletic children attending some of the sport clubs which are offered by Otrokovice town. Further we inquire in which of the three schools are children the most physically able bodied and also we look into if the physical above-average children do the sport more often than the children physical below-average. So far we are interested whether the performances of above-average children have a lower amount subcutaneous fat than the performances of below-average children. METHOD: The data for this Dissertation thesis is generated through empirical quantitative research. This research was carried out under standardised conditions minimizing the outside influence (gymnasium). The Focus groups for this research are school-boys and school-girls from primary schools in Otrokovice. RESULTS: From the measuring results of the chosen sample shows, that more than half of the tested groups achieved below-average values in the motor tests. Than was found out that 85 percent of persons being tested do sport once until three-times per week. The most favourite sports are aerobic and...
The relationship between motor performance and body composition in football
Zerzán, Miloš ; Kokštejn, Jakub (advisor) ; Gryc, Tomáš (referee)
Title: The relationship between motor performance and body composition in football Author: Miloš Zerzán Head of work: Mgr. Jakub Kokštejn, Ph.D. Aim: To determine the current level of motor performance and somatotype among football players (9-10 years old). To determine the relationship between motor performance (evaluated by UNIFITTEST 6-60) and somatotype among football players at older mite team (9-10 years). Methods: Total sample was consisted of 25 players who underwent anthropometric measurements to determine the somatotype according to the method of Heath-Carter and UNIFITTEST 6-60 for the evaluation of basic motor performance. Results: It was found that 72 % of the tested players achieved above-average evaluation in UNIFITTEST 6-60. The tested football players had a lower portion of subcutaneous fat considering the physical constitution. In our study we did not find significant relationship between selected indicators of motor performance and physical somatotype. Although the level of motor performance was rather above-average and the value of subcutaneous fat was relatively low, our results suggest that these determinants of individual game performance are not closely related. Key words: motor skills, somatotype, UNIFITTEST 6-60, physical fitness, children, football

The aim of this diploma thesis was to measure the physical fitness of pupils from selected elementary school in Hradec Králové. From the obtained results iw was determined whether age has an effect on pupils'performance. Futhermore, the results were compared and on the basis of statistical analysis of the data a comparison of performances of 6th and 9th grade pupils and also comparison of boys and girls. The theoretical part focuses on the topics of a healthy lifestyle, physical activity, physical fitness, physical abilities, physiological and psychological specifics in older school children. The empiric part deals with statistical data processing and their evaluation based on the results in selected physical tests from the test battery called EUROFITTEST. Based on the results and their comparison, I came to the conclusion that in six of the total eight exercises, older pupils achieve statistically significant differences compared to younger pupils. When comparing the average results of 6th and 9th grade pupils, I found that in seven out of eight tests, 9th grade pupils achieve better results than 6th grade pupils. In the end, I found that the boys performed better on average in five tests out of eight. Girls achieve better results on average in one test out of eight. There are no differences in...
