Design of state space controller for DC motor
Kuklík, Michal ; Vetiška, Jan (referee) ; Kovář, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with the distribution of DC motors and their possibilities of regulation. DC motor MF 112 S from company EM Brno was chosen for the modeling. The thesis describes design of the engine model in the state space. In this thesis is described design of state controller for DC motor. The design is done in Matlab / Simulink.
Testing lab visualization for air conditioning units
Hamplová, Veronika ; Marada, Tomáš (referee) ; Zuth, Daniel (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the creation of visualization for testing lab for air conditioning unit. This unit was made by Strojírenský zkušební ústav. The visualization was programmed in the visualization and simulation program called ControlWeb. This application allows controlling, monitoring, storing and retrieving all necessary variables. Next part of diploma thesis discusses techniques of measurement, automation devices and visualization software.
Comparative study of discrete PSD controllers
Pelikán, Radek ; Malounek, Petr (referee) ; Pivoňka, Petr (advisor)
The aim of my bachelor's thesis was verification and comparison of heterogenous structures of discrete PSD controllers. First thing mentioned is method of converting continuous PID controllers to discrete PSD controllers. After that I described basic types and structures of discrete controllers. I verified the controllers using computer simulation and control of real systems. I described integral criteria of regulation quality and tried setting of controllers using Ziegler-Nichols method and on ITAE criterion minimum. I mainly focused at classic PSD controller and PSD controllers with filtration of derivative component in old and new design. All controllers were compared.
Settings of parameters PID controllers with using boths Ziegler - Nichols methods
Bulenínec, Martin ; Burlak, Vladimír (referee) ; Pivoňka, Petr (advisor)
This work deals with adjusting the PID parameters with filtered derivative component and I-PD controllers. The setting is used both methods, of Ziegler and Nichols. Work explains cases of failure of this method. The problem is solved by adding the sampling period due to A/D and D/A converters. Then is searched optimally adjust the controller extension of the sampling period. For the calculation and simulation is used program MATLAB and SIMULINK .
Remote-controlled cross-country four-wheeler
Kejzlar, Radim ; Novák, Lukáš (referee) ; Háze, Jiří (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis focuses on the complete design and implementation of an RC vehicle controlled by a smart device with the OS Android using Bluetooth communication. The RC four-wheeler is designed in accordance with the requirements of the BUT FEKT interactive gaming room, where this vehicle is intended. The work deals with the electrical, the program and mechanical part. The electrical part includes a complete selection and description of the drive, implemented using a BLDC motor and its controller. The controller is controlled by a control unit in the form of a microcontroller from the AVR family, which also processes the received data from Bluetooth communication. The design also includes a suitable selection of the Li-Pol technology battery and its capacity. The program part deals with the development of an application for the Android OS using the Mit App Inventor 2 development platform, and in the mechanical part the chassis used for the RC four-wheeler and the design solution of the entire design are discussed.
Design of wind turbine regulator
Kowalczyk, Wiktor ; Vrána, Michal (referee) ; Morávek, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with charge control of a lead acid battery driven by 300 W wind turbine. The thesis is divided into four parts. First deals with the issue of lead battery charge controllers and the definition of a regulator for a wind turbine with permanent magnet synchronous generator, including a description of the regulated system elements. The second part deals with measurments done on the given system. Third part describes the design, algorithms and regulator programming and the last part describes construction and testing of a built-in controller.
Auxiliary winding supplying the voltage regulator of synchronous generator
Hrtáň, Michal ; Hájek, Vítězslav (referee) ; Vítek, Ondřej (advisor)
The theme of this thesis is the design and verification of the auxiliary winding to supply the voltage regulator of the synchronous generator. The synchronous generator for which the auxiliary winding proposed is three-phase, low voltage with double layer random wound stator winding. The generator excitation is brushless with auxiliary rotating exciter. The auxiliary winding is designed for placement in the stator teeth, along with the main winding. The sizing of the auxiliary winding is derived from the power requirements the voltage regulator. Draft winding is validated analytical calculation and finite element method (FEM). The auxiliary winding has been implemented in the production of the generator. The Features of the auxiliary winding have been verified by measuring the by electrical testing room and the test results are evaluated.
Real Time Dynamic System Control
Adamík, Pavel ; Kaluža, Vlastimil (referee) ; Kunovský, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the methodology of controlling dynamic systems in real time. It contents a review of the control theory basis and the elementary base of regulators construction. Then the list of matemathic formulaes follows as well as the math basis for the system simulations using a difeerential count and the problem of difeerential equations solving. Furthermore, there is a systematic approach to the design of general regulator enclosed, using modern simulation techniques. After the results confirmation in the Matlab system, the problematics of transport delay & quantization modelling follow.
The issue of electrical equipment inspection
Polášek, Roman ; Hájek, Vítězslav (referee) ; Veselka, František (advisor)
This work is applied to questions about revision of electric equipment. Revised equipment is compensation switchboards connected with asynchronous engine. Component of the work is measurement of this equipment and consequently status evaluation in audit report. There were proposed laboratory exercise to these equipments in conclusion.
Universal BLDC motor controller
Pijáček, Ondřej ; Pohl, Lukáš (referee) ; Veselý, Libor (advisor)
This thesis describes the design of universal control unit for BLDC motor powered from airplane power distribution system of 28 V capable of driving motor up to 10 A. The maximal engine power is about 250 W. Important prerequisite is possibility of driving various motor size without needs of changing wiring board using only the configuration in the auxiliary memory unit. To control different motors is enough one unit with one program without any way to interfere to the unit itself.
