Fišerová, Karolína ; Kodejška, Miloš (advisor) ; Hurníková, Kateřina (referee)
This Bachelor thesis will emphasize the importance of health principles and sanitary habits through for musical activities of pre-school children. As means of deepening of health principles and sanitary habits will be used both original songs and poems composed from three perspectives: psychological (adequacy in terms of the character of perception and level of psychological characteristics), artistic (adequacy of instrumentation and rhytmic-melodic structure in terms of possibilities of musical expression of pre-school children), and ethical (creating attitudes as relatively permanent values of a forming personality). The research will be carried out using a sample of 5 to 6 year-old children in an ordinary kindergarten participating in a musical performance. It will be evaluated based on empirical validation. The effectivity of the research will be deepened by observing children and interviews with the children's parents. At the end, the author of the thesis will summarize the most important experience and propose ideas for musical-pedagogical practice. Family Drawing in children with family split experience
Saksunová, Aneta ; Presslerová, Pavla (advisor) ; Kucharská, Anna (referee)
The bachelor thesis deals with the influence of family split experience on pre-school children. The aim is to find out if this influence can be recognised in the family drawing. The research is based on the theoretical part which consists of two broad areas. These areas are preschool age and family. In both of them are highlighted aspects which correlate the most with the practical part. From preschool age, it is thinking, communication, emotion, social development and drawing, which is the most important. The family area begins with the current situation which is followed by essential information about the functions and types of family. The final and the most critical part is the subchapter talking about family split experience and divorces. Research data are obtained by family drawings and by semi-structured interviews. Reason for using interview is to complete information from family drawing and to clarify the description of a child. The highlight of the practical part is the results of the research. The most striking differences were found in the following parameters: the presence of father/mother/child in the drawing, the closest person or thing to the child in the picture, distance of child from father and mother in drawing, added subjects, objects or animals in drawing and talking about...

Elements of logical thinking at children aged form 5 to 6 year
Oupicová, Jana ; Kaslová, Michaela (advisor) ; Slezáková, Jana (referee)
The master thesis deals with elements of logical thinking of children aged 5 to 6, which means the přes-school age. The main goal is to finf out the conditions under which the pre-school children are able to apply elements of logical thinking when solving exercises of the zebra type using the manipulation method. Next goal is to investigate on which of the characteristics of the task depends the success of its solution. The partial hypotheses focus on whether children aged 5 to 6 can successfully solve at least half of the assigned tasks, whether they are able to solve them individually and, last but not least, explore zebra formation after experience from the previous graduated six series. The theoretical part focus on the areas of development that the zebra solution of the pre.school child relies on: motor development, thinkig development, logical and prelogic thinking and the possibility of solving activities. The practical part contains scenarios compiled from draduated tasks that will be solved by three groups of four children. It also contains a series of tasks solved individually by children. In the end, neww groups will be built on the succes rate of previous activities, which will prove the ability to develop tasks from previous experience. In addition to the direct observation method,...

Havlíková, Jana ; Kaslová, Michaela (advisor) ; Králová, Michaela (referee)
TITLE: Orientation in time at kindergarten focusing on the Sun and Moon AUTHOR: Bc. Jana Havlíková DEPARTMENT: SUPERVISOR: PhDr. Micheala Kaslová ABSTRACT: This diploma thesis deals with the development of orientation in time focusing on the Sun and Moon in preschool children as part of the attendance at kindergarten. In the theoretical part, in addition to the definition of the term of time from various disciplines, there is also an outline of the development of perception and measurement of time in terms of both evolutionary and individual development. Many activities in kindergartens are preserved for a long time, however the observation of the sky itself has slowly disappeared from education programs and plans. The practical part is focused on setting up scenarios of individual activities for observing the position of the sun in the sky, the length and direction of the sun's shadow, and the awareness of the alternation of the day with the night and the seasons. All this within the framework of action research, which was implemented in one kindergarten class. KEYWORDS: pre-mathematical literacy, preschool education, pre-school age, time, orientation in time, sun, shadow, universe, day and night

Abstract The Master thesis "Developement of work on structure in kindergarten" aims to find out which structures are percieved well by the Czech child of the last year of pre-school and in which types of percieved structures there are difficulties and to characterize these difficulties. Qualitative research was used to achieve the goal. The thesis deals with two types of structures, one direction or simultaneusly two directions structure. The partial aim is to describe (on the basis of acquired data and experience) recommendations and offer in practice proven appropriate activities that would precede the activities in last year of pre- school eductaion. A series of tasks has been created to test how the child works with a regular rhythm structure in one and two directions. At the same time, I watched if it is easier for the child to fill in these worksheets or work with small 3D material in given directions. In addition to the observation method, interviews with children were conducted and data recordings were added to the analysis. The evidence obtained showed that the preschool children in the last year of the kindergarten understands the structure more easily in one direction and is better oriented in the horizontal position than in the vertical or both directions simultaneously. This may be due...

I also devote to the contemporary situation in the book market for children, especially pre- school children, mostly non-readers. I focus on a small alternative publishing house called Baobab, its book production for children in general, and on its awarded books. In the empirical part I interviewed parents (41 returned questionnaires altogether) about their awareness and opinion on the Baobab publishing house and on selected books published by Baobab, namely Jak zvířataspí (How Animals Sleep), Šmalcova ABECEDA (Šmalec's Alphabet) and Z domu a zahrady (From the House And the Garden). I also interviewed 7 pre- school teachers to find out about their awareness of the Baobab publishing house and about their opinion on the selected books. Unlike the parents, all teachers had known the publishing house.
