Application of non-contact vibration measurements on a 48“ blade under low load condition
Kubín, Z. ; Liška, J. ; Míšek, T. ; Procházka, Pavel
The paper describes in detail a Tip-Timing measurement on a combined cycle power plant with a steam turbine power output of 270MW. Newly developed magnetoresistive and optical sensors were used as well as standard eddy-current sensors to measure blade vibration under low load condition and variable back pressure. New hardware solution for the Tip-Timing measurement will is presented as well as results of measurements of relative amplitudes and excited nodal diameters.
Design and Construction of Flow-through Detection Cell for Nephelometric Determinations and Its Application for Determination of Sulphate and Promethazine
Nováková, Eliška ; Hraníček, Jakub (advisor) ; Nesměrák, Karel (referee)
The aim of this thesis has been design, construction and application of a flow-through nephelometric detection cell based on photodiode as a sensor and a laser source. The developed device has been tested and its function has been proven on the determination of sulphate by flow injection analysis with nephelometric detection after precipitation by barium chloride. The results achieved were comparable with those obtained by spectrometric detection. Furthermore, the device has been successfully applied to the determination of promethazine based on formation of its insoluble ion associate with bromophenol blue. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
Robotic table football - position detection of opponent
Otradovský, Radek ; Zuth, Daniel (referee) ; Lang, Stanislav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is design of the sensing device to detect the positions of the four independent human axes robotic table soccer and create an output program applicable to game strategy. In the introduction is comparison of previously developed solutions. Next part is the comparison and selection of appropriate sensors applicable to the design table. For specific solutions then select a suitable module for integration into the control system and then test the functionality of the system. Implementation part of the proposal includes the design of construction for detection and next includes all necessary upgrades in the construction of the machine ware to commissioning.
Optical speed sensor of surface
Vaněk, Ondřej ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (referee) ; Sedlák, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this work is development of an optical sensor for surface-velocity measurement based on ordinary optical mouse sensor. The proposed sensor should have find its usage in industrial applications for low-cost contactless measurement of conveyor belts or semi-finished products, thus some other gauges could check quality of products. Theoretical part of this thesis includes introduction to optical sensors and their usage. Rest of the work describes practical part consisting of programming of communication between sensor and PC in MATLAB and Arduino environments, development of simple device based on Arduino hardware, the set-up of experimental workplace and providing speed tests.
Flush controller tester
Ambrož, Jaromír ; Pristach, Marián (referee) ; Pavlík, Michal (advisor)
This thessis teoreticaly deals with basic functions of optic based sensors for sanitary electronic and parameteres whitch are necessary to measure. Then the aim of this project is development of machine for automatic measurment.
Optical position sensor
Jakubík, Tomáš ; Frýza, Tomáš (referee) ; Dřínovský, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with optical sensors used in computer mice and their possible use as a 2D plane positioning sensor system. The first part of the thesis explains the principles and differences in function of individual sensors, as well as a description of the methods used to determine to position of the sensor. The thesis also addresses the possibility of such a sensor connected to a PC using a device to determine the position of the sensor. In the next part of this work the option to build such a device with the use of microcontrollers is described, including a description of the functions of various parts of the device. Last part of the thesis deals with the control equipment and software processing of information by a computer.
Influence of phase optic sensor to the DWDM network
Čučka, M.
This article deals with influence of phase optic sensor to the DWDM transmission. In DWDM network we use four lasers sources for data transmission on one optical fiber. Next one DFB laser is used for phase optical sensor on the same optical fiber. This article is focused on influence of power DFB laser to the DWDM network. We changed the power of the DFB laser from-2 dBm to 35 dBm and watching the bit error rate and eye of the decision of the DWDM system. This model is simulated in RSoft Optsim.
Experimental work with POF - Polymer optical fibers
Doležal, Ondřej ; Urban, František (referee) ; Filka, Miloslav (advisor)
In this diploma thesis, the reader is familiarized with polymer optical fiber (POF). Firstly is mentioned theoretical background of optical fibers and optical transmission. The following are the basic properties and significant parameters of POF, a more detailed description of each type POF and their essential advantages and disadvantages in comparison with established optical fibers based on glass. The next chapter describes the area of practical issues: working with fibers and fiber installation, as well as the available connectors and methods of measurement of POF. Closely are analyzed knowledge of the practice, including the utilize in the aerospace and automotive industries, as well as in industrial networks, access data networks and local area networks. The practical part includes the measurement of basic transmission and mechanical parameters, including analysis of the results. The conclusion summarizes all the findings and results of this work, including possible future developments.
Optical sensor for UV radiation
Třešňáková, Andrea ; Drbohlavová, Jana (referee) ; Veselý, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with monitoring of photocatalytic activity on prepared optical sensors for UV illumination. A polymeric matrix was prepared based on the redox dye Acid Red 1, titanium dioxide and calibration agents. The deposition of matrix was done by material printing – roll-to-roll printer – on PET film. This resulted in optical dosimeter for UV illumination. Finally, the validity of the reciprocity law was proved.
Optical Absorption Sensors for Evaluation of Yeast Acidification Power
Rychtáriková, Renata ; Frančič, N. ; Hetflejš, Jiří ; Kuncová, Gabriela ; Gabriel, P. ; Lobnik, A.
The acidification power test provides a fast and simple method of assessing the ability of cells to perform a successful fermentation. It has been used as a rejection criterion for assessing the technological quality of starter yeast cultures in brewing, cider production, baking, as well as cheese making based on lactic acid bacteria. The cell acidification power responses to pH decrease of the environment after glucose addition. We have prepared novel recognition elements of pH sensors suitable for evaluation of yeast acidification power by absorption of two pH sensitive sulfonphthalein dyes (bromocresol green and bromophenol blue) into hydrogel of poly(2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate-co-ethylene dimethacrylate). The absorption spectra, function ranges, pKa values, and response times for each absorbed dye were evaluated, compared with the free dyes, and further discussed with regard to its application to the acidification power test.
