Ondrušková, Kateřina ; Kupková, Lucie (advisor) ; Červená, Lucie (referee)
Comparison of NATURA 2000 mapping with Earth observation mapping (Case study of tundra in the Krkonoše Mts.) Abstract The bachelor thesis is focused on comparing Natura 2000 mapping with results of classification of Landsat 8 and WorldView-2 satellite images with different spatial resolution in the case study of tundra in the Krkonoše Mts. Satellite images were classified using Maximum Likelihood supervised classification and ISODATA unsupervised classification. The aim of the thesis was to find out what categories of Natura 2000 mapping are detectable using satellite images. For all classifications two levels of modified legend of the Natura 2000 mapping were used. The best results for both satellite images were achieved by unsupervised classification on level 1 of the legend - overall accuracy for Landsat 8 image was 64,1 % and for Word-View-2 image 67,16 %. Software ENVI 5.1 was used for all classifications. Keywords: Earth observation, supervised classification, unsupervised classification, legend, classification accuracy, NATURA mapping

The drama "Yoshitsune and the thousand cherry trees." Minamoto No Yoshitsune as a martial strategist, courtier and literary myth.
Ryndová, Jana ; Švarcová, Zdeňka (advisor) ; Rumánek, Ivan (referee) ; Hýbl, Ondřej (referee)
In her doctoral thesis the author would like to present the play Yoshitsune and the Thousand Cherry trees (Yoshitsune senbonzakura) as a unique piece of Japanese drama which has a great complexity and an outstanding place within the corpus of Japanese literature. Even if the play can be compared to Chushingura mono in its importance, Yoshitsune senbonzakura has not been widely translated to western languages. There are two exceptions, however: the English translation (Jones, Jr. 1993) and the German translation (Klopfenstein 1982). While comparing the two translations and using the most full original texts available (as preserved in Takeda Izumo and Namiki Sosuke Joruri Collection and Yuda Yoshio's Bunraku Joruri Collection), the author's goal is to present the play to Czech readers and its interpretation to Czech scholars. As for the flow and structure of the interpretation of Yoshitsune senbonzakura the author begins with an analysis of the historical background of the legend of Minamoto Yoshitsune, capturing the life of Yoshitsune from the time of Heiji rebellion (1159) when he was born to his death in 1189. Next the author concentrates on the legend itself as it evolved within the course of Japanese literature. With a shift from the court literature of Heian period towards the battlefield...

Beníšková, Dagmar ; Mravcová, Marie (advisor) ; Vaněk, Václav (referee)
Abstract The thesis deals with the relation of Ivan Olbracht and Subcarpathian Rus. Giving a brief summary of examined territory's history, the authoress attends to Olbracht's Subcarpathian stay and its influence on his work. Olbracht was challenged by the social and political conditions of fossil region to write a set of reportages released in newspaper and afterwards in a double book edition (Země bez jména, Hory a staletí). In the reportages he prepaired a factual and epical field for his prosaic pieces - Nikola Šuhaj loupežník and Golet v údolí (for completeness' sake it's essential to mention Marijka nevěrnice). Authoress devotes herself to a thematic analysis of reportages observing the way Olbracht depicted no longer existing culture and community. She applies this thematic outline on the outlaw novel and the triptych of short stories. It is hereby documented Olbracht's methodics consisting in a stratified narration based on two main layers: factual (empirical) and legendary (poetic).
