"Music Scene" - a concert hall for the city of Brno

Theme of diploma thesis is „Music scene“ - a concert hall for city of Brno. Thesis consists of architectural study of concert hall including foyer, functional and service spaces. Capacity of Hall is 724 spectators divided in three floors of auditorium and can host up to 85 of orchestral musicians and 50 members of choir. Concept makes architectural study, which respect surrounding buildings but creates interesting space.
Jiri Trnka's Scenography in the National Theatre

Jiri Trnka (1912 - 1969) ranks among the foremost representatives of Czech modern art in the 20th century and alongside the most remarkable protagonists of the visual art scene over a period ranging from the late 1930s through the end of the1960s. He stood out within that movement for his multiple talents, as a draughtsman, book illustrator, puppet designer, painter, animated film-maker, sculptor and stage designer. He achieved admirable success in these fields of activity. In the early 40s a new prospect opened up for him connected with work in theatre, as he took up the post of stage designer at the National Theatre in Prague, an assignment which enabled him to put to use his specific talent for stagecraft. He created 13 stage decorations together. Trnka was able to create unforgettable productions thanks the cooperation with Jiri Frejka or Karel Dostal. I documented and explained Trnka's work in the context of the Nation Theatre during the Second World War. I defined his style in the relation to his contemporaries in the end of work. Conversion of a Robot Program from Code to an AR-Compatible Representation

The demand for robots and their development is constantly growing. Along with robots, various environments are being created to facilitate their programming. One such environment is the ARCOR2 application. The application has implemented a functionality that allows internally represented data, which control the robot, to be converted into the widely known Python language. The aforementioned conversion was introduced because Python is used as an interpreter for the robot program in which it is possible to run the program. The aim of the work is to utilize the conversion from the internal representation of data to the Python language for modifying the robot's code. The benefit of the work is enabling modifications in the Python language by converting the modified code back into the internal representation of data. As a result, the workstation operator can create a program using augmented reality, and an experienced programmer can subsequently modify the created program in the Python language. The solution allows for effective collaboration between regular users and programmers, with each working with a program form that corresponds to their abilities.
Detection of changes in the image

The aim of this thesis is finding changes in two similar pictures made in different periods. This task belongs to the field of computer vision. To solve this problem different methods of computer visions are used in several solution versions. Program is working with two scenes. In final version are objects from both scenes compared. The result is written into logging file.
The Construction of Authenticity on the Czech Drum and Bass Scene from the Perspective of Its Creators

This bachelor thesis deals with the construction of authenticity of the Czech Drum and bass scene. The thesis focuses on its creators - DJs, producers and managers of Drum and bass events. The research is supported by cultural studies theories, which describe different aspects of the perception of authenticity. Following chapters focus on the development of electronic music and Drum and bass style in particular. The practical part begins with the description of qualitative research, within which five semi-structured interviews have been conducted. The main goal this thesis is to look at the perceptions of authenticity within the Czech Drum and bass scene (its creators as well as the audience), and outside the scene (relationships between Drum and bass scene and the public).
The Transformation of Czech Freetekno Scene

(in English) This thesis focuses on the research of a Czech music scene called Freetekno. The research was conducted with qualitative approach by using a combination of in-depth interviews with informants and participant field observation. The informants of the research are organizers and attendees of freeparties. The terrain of the fieldwork is represented by freeparties held in the Czech Republic during the year 2017 and at the beginning of the following year. Within the field of Czech music subcultures, freetekno scene exists for almost twenty-five years and this text focuses on the research of its transformation, which is facilitated through several transformational processes, including commercialisation; decriminalisation; professionalization; change of participants; transformation of drug situation; and transformation of the "spirit" of freeparties. These processes are not isolated; they mutually influence each other quite strongly. Together, the transformational processes form a network of influence, whose outcome is then the transformation of the scene itself.
Ideologization and fragmentation of Skinhead subculture

The master thesis titled Ideologization and fragmentation of Skinhead subculture deals with historical background of Skinhead subculture genesis and with cleavages, that determinated its ideologization and fragmentation. Simultaneously it pays close attention to analysis of various branches of the Skinhead subculture. The first chapter of the thesis builds theoretical foundations of the research. In this chapter the terms culture, subculture and counterculture are explained. Accentutation is placed on common denominators as well as on differences in the definition of these terms. The second chapter of the master thesis deals equally with historical background of Skinhead subculture genesis and with subcultures with a significant impact on the formation of the Skinhead subculture. In this chapter the attention is focused on historical facts of political development in Great Britain after The Second World War, on subcultures popular at that time and on foundation of the Skinhead subculture. The third chapter of this thesis analyzes infiltration of the political ideologies inside the subculture and the following fragmentation of Skinheads. Functional equivalence in the film adaptation of Ian McEwan's Atonement

The aim of this diploma thesis is the analysis of the film adaptation of Ian McEwan's novel Atonement that was directed by Joe Wright and written by Christopher Hampton in 2007. The thesis focuses on the instances of functional equivalence in the film. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part elaborates on the phenomenon of functional equivalence and briefly discusses the main approaches to film adaptations. The practical part examines individual examples of functional equivalence in the film, describes and analyses corresponding passages in the novel and scenes in the film. It describes the scenes in which Hampton introduces the characters with special attention to the changes that were made to fully do so and then inspects the other segments of the film that were transformed to seamlessly transfer the adapted material to screen. Firearm Type Identification in an Image

Main goal of this work is to design, implement and test an approach for classifying firearms in an image into categories with short and long fireams, and then with single shot, multi-barreled, repeating and semi-automatic/automatic firearms. This problem was solved using SVM classifier together with Harris corner detector, FREAK descriptor and Bag of Words method. Accuracy of final program is up to 13,3 %.
Measuring Parameters Of Human Operator

This work focuses on evaluating the parameters of the human operator as the driver of the vehicle simulator. In the first part, the thesis focuses on the examination of human operator parameters evaluation. In the second part of the thesis is a proposal of various scenarios focused on a specific area of measurement. Finally, processing and evaluation of measured data by different operators.
