Wireless Network
Hrůza, Pavel ; MBA, Zdeněk Podlipný, (referee) ; Koch, Miloš (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is focused on wireless network design. In the beginning it describes technologies, which are used for building of modern wireless networks. Practical part of thesis uses these technologies during creation of wireless network for company WALMARK.
Potential application of neural networks in network elements
Babnič, Patrik ; Vymazal, Michal (referee) ; Vychodil, Petr (advisor)
The goal was to get acquainted with the problems of network elements to describe neural networks that can be used to manage such a feature. The theoretical part deals with the neural networks from their inception to the present. It focuses mainly on the network, witch can be used for management control. These are the two network: Hopfield network and Kohonen network. The practical part deals with the network element model and ist implementation. It contains a practical element model using a neural network, witch is controlled by a network element.
Design of small-size data networks with advanced services
Vaněk, Jiří ; Kubánková, Anna (referee) ; Novotný, Vít (advisor)
The main objective of this thesis is to get acquainted with the field of designing professional data networks and with typical network service required at these networks. A basic description of network hierarchy and of network elements is part of this thesis. At the same time, individual network services and their usage are defined. At the latter part of the thesis there is a suggestion of design creation steps and of service implementation. Further on, the thesis describes a real design of a laboratory task and it’s practical implementation. Detailed guidelines how to complete a laboratory task are part of this thesis.
Application for automatic control of CISCO device configuration
Zbořil, Tomáš ; Jeřábek, Jan (referee) ; Kubánková, Anna (advisor)
The problem of mismatched running configurations on the networking devices is common and it is not always easy to troubleshoot. Another problem of the same scale is an analysis of the routing information in routers, its heterogeneity in terms of dynamic routing protocols, numerous various settings, and last but not least, management of these protocols. These problems require a software solution that would be helpful in analysis and would allow for automated addressing of problems found during the analysis. This master's thesis attempts to do this by designing and implementing such program for the protocol OSPFv2. It uses the SSH protocol to allow for retrieval of running configuration files from the devices and their comparison to the user-added configuration files. SSH protocol is also used to run commands on the devices and to gather their outputs, which are subsequently analysed. The output of the analysis is used in automated error correction, the correctness of which, is checked by the presence of the routes on the routers to the rest of the network.
A Digital Network-on-chip Architecture Model for Diagnostics
Valachovič, Marek ; Bohrn, Marek (referee) ; Šťáva, Martin (advisor)
Due to increasing integration on the chip, bus structure for on-chip comunication is less and less advantageous. For this reason, Network on Chip (NoC) was created as a solution to this problém. In this work, the basic blocks of the NoC architecture are described. The model of this architecture called Nonfire is described in detail, both function blocks, from which the router is created, and the network Interface Connecting this router with the Processing Element.
Analysis of Audio Codecs Applied in IP telephony
Hlavica, Michal ; Szőcs, Juraj (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
Issue of this diploma thesis is focused on analysis of audio codecs used within IP telephony. Attention of teoretical part is given mostly to audio codecs according to ITU-T recommendations, but also to signaling protocols used here. For practical part of analysis is chosen router Cisco 2821 and IP phones Cisco 7975G. Configuration is done over operating system Cisco IOS. Chosen signaling protocol is SCCP. For analysis itself are chosen 2 analysers – L-580FX and Fluke NetTool. These are used in combination with program Wireshark. Analysed parameters are latency, packet lost, bandwidth, jitter and mean opinion score. Measured values are presented in graphs and tables and they are discussed. Next output of the thesis is laboratory excercise, which deals with analysis of audio codecs.
Implementation of Network Security Algorithms in Home Router
Procházka, Tomáš ; Novotňák, Jiří (referee) ; Košař, Vlastimil (advisor)
This bachelor thesis briefly describes minimalist linux distribution OpenWRT and its installation in Linksys WAG160Nv2 router. It describes a selected router and it discusses a measuring procedure of a throughput, wich was chosen as a criterion for an evaluating the performance of the router. Furthermore, it examined the performance of the router using the original system and running OpenWRT. Design and implementation of interception algorithms, whose main purpose is to capture network traffic on the router, are described in the subsequent parts. Results are presented in the final part.
Network Configuration Synthesis and Verification
Černeková, Alžbeta ; Veselý, Vladimír (referee) ; Ryšavý, Ondřej (advisor)
The subject of this master's thesis is to address the topic of network devices configuring. It resolves the problems related to simplifying certain parts of configuration while eliminating frequent errors or issues. It introduces a solution to setting of IP addresses on router's interfaces. Furthermore it presents the generation of configuration for particular dynamic routing scenarios and its application and methods for its verification on network devices. It also demonstrates the preparation of configuration of VPN tunnel between two devices. The conclusion of this thesis contains possibilities for further extensions or improvements.
System for Administration of Commercial Computer Network
Pápai, Michal ; Očenášek, Pavel (referee) ; Trchalík, Roman (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis describes the development of the system for administration of commercial computer network. The development is based on real experiences of the Internet service provider and its computer network with Linux-based gateway. This thesis deals with shortcomings of the existing solution and tries to propose and implement a uniform GUI for administration, to automatize individual parts and action, to reduce the professional knowledge of the system and perform automatic control of this kind of network.
Design of labs for Cisco academy courses
Oujezský, Václav ; Růčka, Lukáš (referee) ; Jeřábek, Jan (advisor)
This master's work deals with the design of laboratory exercises for Cisco Academy courses. Especially is oriented on Cisco technology. The theoretical part describes various devices used in the laboratory and the issue of functionality of these devices, such as switching, routing and solve any problems with the configurations of these elements. The practical part is directly generated designs laboratory exercises, focusing on specific examples of the problems from the configuration and network management with Cisco. An integral part of work consists of supporting the presentation of individual laboratory tasks, including configuration files, settings of the device. Create labs and verify the functionality of their configuration has been realized in the laboratory Cisco Academy Brno.
