How can good quality children's magazines contribute to the healthy development of younger schoolchildren in the contemporary postmodern setting

This MA dissertation is a creative project aimed at creating a model magazine for children of primary school age which would cultivate the child reader in a manner as complex as possible. The content of this magazine is founded on a previous theoretical analysis of children's needs and takes into account their socio-cultural specifics, that is, living together with digital technologies. Subsequently, in this work, I have aimed at finding responses for such formulated requirements in the form of current educational trends and, using these in practice, I am submitting a proposal of a specific product which reflects these phenomena.

In the first part there is a research of literature sources concerning the issue project education. The Following part is a suggestion of educational project Saccharides, its product are lessons about the topic saccharides, which are designed, prepared and taught by the students. The suggestion of the project contains a timetable of the project, instructions and methodology for individual parts of the project (motivation, preparation of lessons, laboratory works, presentation of lessons, final practice, test and reflection), methodological notes and documentation to the implementation of the project at Grammar school in Dvůr Králové nad Labem.
Preparing the Project Contemporary Czech Literary Life for The 1st Grade of Four-Year-Grammar School

Résumé Students of the 1st grade of four-year-grammar school are not well-informed about contemporary literary life. They think that only books that are currently being published should be classified as literature, knowing only the world bestsellers from all of the books that have actually been published. Students have almost never visited any reading or literary fairs. They know nothing about the various Czech literary awards. Some Czech writers, to them, are no longer relevant, for example Arnošt Lustig or Karel Šiktanc. In their minds, the success of an author is measured by the volume of sales and value of money. The severely marginalized authorial status, by viewing the writer not as a "prophet", but instead as an entertainment producer. People generally prefer special effects which offer immediate gratification, because they don't want to spend the time and concentration it takes to read. As far as the students are concerned, reading is boring and difficult. Czech students aren't tought to see value in reading. This could be the result of the methods which are used at Czech schools - suppressing critical thinking and paying more attention to the acquisition of knowledge. Educational Project of Entrepreneurial Intention for Secondary Schools

Bachelor´s work "Teaching Project of Entreprneutrial Intention for Secondary Schools" presents definitions specifying brief abstract of history and meaning of projects and project teaching. Teaching project for secondary schools is distinguished as comprehensive teaching method, which significantly takes part in development of key competences, in active and sensual teaching of students. Project teaching is one of the possibilities how to at least paatially substitute the traditional teaching with active forms, leading students to find out their knowledge, results of problems and other information with their our activities and with cooperation. Methodical manual is designated not only for students, but also for their educatinalists, as a "helper" during special subjects teaching, as for example accounting, economics and management. In this methodical manual there are contained whole information about entrepreneutical activities, advices and processes necessary for treatments of entrepreneutrial intention.
Future tense markers in present-day English

This thesis deals with the verbal category of future time and future tense markers in present-day English. The next part of the work is the characteristic of the Youth and Children organization, didactic treatment of the indicative of three basic future tenses using the project education aimed to younger school-aged children and the last part of the work analyzes the knowledge of the elder school-aged children using the questionnaire investigation.
Didactical analysis of subject matter system of accounting for business schools

This thesis deals with didactical analysis of subject matter system of accounting for business schools. The first research problem analyses school educational programme at two research business schools, regarding the demands of the reform. Two main hypotheses verifying the differences in key and professional competence of students in problem and traditional education utilization result from the second research problem. The thesis responds to the requirements by creating an educational material with IFRS issues for business schools. Project day for professional economic subjects has been developed on the basis of results, methodology processes and didactical materials resulting from the second research problem
Project as an education method in teaching of physics

The diploma thesis ?Project as an educational method for teaching physics ?deals with the possibilities of using project-based method for teaching physics at primary schools. Not only does it contain the theoretical background of project-based teaching, but also deals with practical issues in the form of an implementation of a chosen project ?Physics and physical education?. The aim of said project was to evaluate the efficiency of project-based teaching as far as the knowledge of pupils and didactical and organisation issues are concerned. The first part of this work deals with the possibilities of project-based teaching in Czech Republic, its historical development and pedagogical-psychological analysis. The second part states the topics of my own projects (including my own implementation of one of these projects) and also contains some secondary didactical materials.
