Packet Classification Algorithms
Machala, Jiří ; Puš, Viktor (referee) ; Kajan, Michal (advisor)
The main aim of this work is interpretation and implementation of HyperCuts algorithm. It also covers the problematic of packet classification in general - it sums up the basic classification theory and introduces well-known classification methods. It concentrates mostly on evaluation of HyperCuts in comparison to HiCuts algorithm and analyses the assets of optimizations described in professional literature. It proposes a new way to limit the number of memory accesses by combining HyperCuts and HiCuts for single classifier.
A Comparison of a Performance of Different File Systems
Beňas, Petr ; Kašpárek, Tomáš (referee) ; Smrčka, Aleš (advisor)
The aim of this work is to compare the performance of common local filesystems used in GNU/Linux operating system. State-of-the-art filesystems together with existing benchmarks are described. The work also describes in detail the hardware used for performing benchmarks and the settings of the operating system. A tool for the analysis of benchmarks performed by the Iozone tool has been developed. Finally, the analysis and the discussion upon the results of Iozone and Postmark has been made.
Production Comparison of High Voltage Winding of Dry Transformers
Mrajca, Miroslav ; Bulín, Tomáš (referee) ; Ondrůšek, Čestmír (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the history, importance, usage, construction and principle of the operation of transformers. The thesis also focuses on the detailed description of the parts which the dry power transformer is composed from, as well as the description of their manufactory and following assembly into one unit. The thesis contains the comparison of different technologies of manufactory of higher voltage winding and magnetic circuit. The thesis contains a process of design of the dry transformer with an example of calculation. The output is a comparison of different high voltage winding technologies in terms of production costs and winding factor.
Building valuation methodology by regulations No. 441/2013 Coll. and No. 419/2013 Coll.
Frühaufová, Petra ; Klika, Pavel (referee) ; Hrubanová, Michaela (advisor)
The thesis deals with the differences in the valuation of buildings by valuation public notices no. 441/2013 Coll. and no. 419/2013 Coll. and explanation of differences in valuation on the example of a house in listed cities and villages in 2,000 and over 2,001 residents with final execute decision-making schemes for the selection of the different methodologies in regions and districts of the Czech Republic. The theoretical part focuses on the basic concepts and the use of various valuation methodologies. The practical part is honored family house without land using the reference method in accordance with Decree no. 441/2014 Coll. and in accordance with Decree no. 419/2013 Coll. The results are applied in the decision scheme for the selection of individual valuation methodology.
Sorting Algorithms
Richter, Jan ; Dvořák, Jiří (referee) ; Šeda, Miloš (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with basic types of sorting algorithms. We are able to divide these algorithms into two groups, which are elementary (direct) sorting algorithms and difficult (optimized) ones. From the group of direct algorithms, the thesis is dedicated to algorithms of direct paste, direct selection, and direct exchange, which could be further divided into bubblesort and shakersort. From the second group of optimized algorithms in the thesis, sorting with miniaturizing of steps (Shellsort) and dividing sorting (Quicksort) are described. In context of these algorithms, I deal with syntaxes and also effectiveness, with which they are able to sort the given system. Criteria of effectiveness are comparison and movement calculations, which are the function of only one parameter – the number of members in the system.
Packet Filtering in Computer Networks
Šrůtka, Petr ; Kováčik, Michal (referee) ; Kajan, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor thesis contains an introduction to packet classification, types of packet classification techniques and different metrics. It describes different algorithms used for packet classification and implementation of Recursive flow classification algorithm is also part of this bachelors thesis. It presents different configuration parameters of RFC algorithm and describes its advantages and disadvantages. This work is concluded with a set of experiments describing characteristics of implemented algorithm together with comparison of other classification approaches.
Additional working equipment and tools for machines for excavators
Horký, Karel ; Pokorný, Přemysl (referee) ; Škopán, Miroslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on research of hydraulic demolition hammers and hydraulic demolition shares that are manufactured and used to demolish the buildings nowadays. There is written down a research of types of equipment for an application on different types of excavators in both cases. In this thesis there is a comparison of this equipment also included. Comparison is written down to the tables and drawn to the graphs. Moreover there is included a survey of additional equipment for crushing and separating a structural rubble.
SIP security
Tůma, Petr ; Šilhavý, Pavel (referee) ; Ježek, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on security issues of the SIP signalling protocol. The goal was to carry out three attacks and design defences against them. The chosen attacks were a flood attack, a modified message attack and a man-in-the-middle attack. The attacks were conducted against the Asterisk PBX and the results show that some attacks were able to prevent communication between the PBX and clients. Defensive measures are described for each attack in the mitigation subchapter.
Comparison of the cartographic symbols used in thematical maps
Andělová, Pavla ; Kulíšková, Zuzana (referee) ; Šváb, Tomáš (advisor)
The master's thesis is concerned with a comparison of cartographic symbols used in thematical maps of a large scale. The purpose of the comparison is evaluation of uniformity currently used cartographic symbols and creating tutorial database of symbols for students. The thesis is divided to the theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part includes thematical maps, cartographic symbols, laws for thematical maps and issues of their timeliness. The practical part is focused on comparison of cartographic symbols used in thematical maps of different authors. There is also described in this part creating of cartographic symbols database.
Hydraulic Demolition Hammers and Shears
Vyplašil, Jan ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Škopán, Miroslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of hydraulic demolition hammers and shears used as an additional equipment of excavators. Thesis contains functional principle, various kinds of actuations of this hydraulical demolition hammers, their usage in special conditions and choice of suitable tool. Moreover thesis contains the principal of funcion of hydraulical demolition shears. Following part shows the summary of hydraulical hammers and shares of four sellected companies on Czech market. Final part shows the comparision of selected types of hydraulical hammers and shares from chosen manufactures. Comparision is displaied in graphs and used to make a conclusion.
