The aim of this thesis is to map stresses and psychotraumata clients of low- threshold centres for children and youth in Prague. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part describes the basic concepts such as stress, psychotraumata, socio-pathological phenomena, youth at risk and low-threshold centre for children and youth. In the practical part are presented results of quantitative research which was used questionnaire method. Need and possibility of improving servises of low-treshold facilities for children and youth "Club 21" in Beroun

The subject of this thesis is to map the external environment of help available to children and youth provided by low threshold facilities such as the "club 21" in Beroun. Through research with practitioners in selected institutions, the thesis investigates the need and possibilities of improving its services in the context of the major areas of social environment - social, technical, economic and political - legal. In order to achieve this objective the theoretical part identifies the milestones in the history of the development of social services in general, and in relation their function and contribution to society. The following section deals with low-threshold facilities in its objectives, mission and services, content and methods of work including the characteristics of the "Club 21". The practical part describes research work carried out by qualitative research in its various phases, it summarizes and interprets the findings and it converts them to the level of observable characters. In addition to mapping and orientation of the real possibilities of low-threshold facilities development for children and youth "Club 21" the aim of this thesis is also to provide an opportunity to apply their knowledge in practice.

Free time programs for Roma

The bachelor thesis introduces various organizations that deal with the problematics of the Roma ethnic group. It is focused on the contemporary situation of the Roma and for Roma organisations in the Czech Republic, their provided services and the way of their financial support. The work also gives information of the representative organizations which provide mainly free time programs for Roma kids and teenagers and it introduces their particular activities. The essential meaning of streetwork and the institutions focused on the children and teenagers from the socially weak environment is explained here as well. The problematics of Roma children educational proces is also mentioned. The practical part of the thesis concentrates on the Daytime centre for the kids and teenagers in Žďár nad Sázavou. Its contemporary condition and merit of the programmes are evaluated here.

Purpose at work. Motivations of Workers of Selected Low-threshold Facilities for Children and Youth Bc. Michaela Valentová Abstract Diploma thesis focuses on the experience of purposefulness of employees of low- threshold facilities for children and youth. In theoretical part low-threshold facilities are firstly conceptualized as a part of Czech organized civil society. Secondly, relevant theories of purpose are introduced. In empirical part, qualitative research is conducted by in-depth interviews with nine employees of two typical civil society organizations. Workers of low-threshold facilities for children and youth construct their purpose around four categories: helping clients, professionality, work ethics and self-development. Each of these categories brings specific consequences for their organizations. The theory expects purpose to be inspirational for others, however research participants do not reflect on the possibility to inspire their clients that way. This work suggests it is caused by workers' strong emphasis on professionality which creates borders in relationships between clients and workers and also limits the possibility to inspire one another with purpose. In my master thesis I consider the individual planning agenda within low-threshold clubs for children and young people. Within my thesis I focus on determination of the terms "individual planning" and "low-threshold club for children and young people" especially I am focused on "Nízkoprahový klub Husita" low-threshold club. The nature of my thesis is theoretical - researching and its main goal is to increase the quality of individual planning agenda in NPK Husita. The practical part of my work is focused on analysing individual plans made in 2019, pointing out the difference between them according to the age of the person making the plan, their topics, style and setting the targets of the plans according to the individual planning agenda.

Thesis examines Low-Treshold facility for children and youth T klub in Zlín in more details. Thesis is focused on life situation of target group of Low-Treshold facility for children and youth T klub which involves ocurrence of unfavorable and risky behaviour of youth, their needs and individual aims. Thesis is also examines the scope of activities of Low-Treshold facility for children and youth focused on prevention of risky behaviour of youth and the strategies of social work with adolescent population using social workers. Empirical research of qualitative research monitors the influence Low-Treshold facility T klub for life of their clients and the sense of Low-Treshold facility for children and youth for adolescent population in Zlín.

Low-threshold facility for children and youth Domino and the cooperating organization

The main focus of my dissertation is how the charity Low-threshold facility for children and youth Domino and a local Primary school support and work together in providing a safe and stimulating environment for children and young adults. The dissertation has two parts - a part and a practical part. The first part is focusing on social services as per number 108/2006 Collection of Legislative Acts. I am focusing on community planning and describing the charity Low-threshold facility for children and youth in general and then Low-threshold facility for children and youth Domino Litvínov-Janov in more detail. One chapter gives an insight about how children spend their free time and the opportunities ad provisions available to them locally. The next part of my work gives reasons about the unsuitable location Litvinov-Janov. Further on the following chapter focuses on the Primary School in Janov and possible future partnership and cooperation with various organizations and charities. My main focus is to find out if the charity Low-threshold facility for children and youth Domino has a working relationship with the Primary school Janov. The secondary focus of my work is to determine how well informed the staff of the Primary school Janov are about the charity Low-threshold facility for children and youth...
