Promotions effect to clients in the spa town Poděbrady

The diploma thesis focuses on promoting of the Poděbrady city as a spa town since 1905, when the first spring was drilled in the courtyard of the Poděbrady chateau. The thesis follows the historical development of the town Poděbrady, the beginnings of spa tourism in Poděbrady and consequently its development. Thesis defines spa methods and specific methods used in Poděbrady spa. The theme of spa therapy fits into the broader concept of leisure time and assesses how great the promotion of spa tourism has had before and today. The main aim of this work is the analysis of spa guests and their transformation during the centuries. The work aims at its 1924, 1947 and 2012 objectives as a representative for the period of the First Republic, the post-war period, and the current one. Spa Jeseník as a possibility of movement activities for all generations

Title: Spa Jeseník as an opportunity for exercise activities for all generations Objectives: The objective of the study analyzes physical activities for all age category in the Spa Jeseník, identify visitors' goals and point to the potential of Jeseník Spa and the surrounding countryside Methods: There were used the methods of - evaluation of recreational tourism potential, questionnaire designed for visitors of the Jeseník Spa and SWOT analysis. Results: Evaluating the tourism potential in Spa Jeseník, ranks Jeseník area among the top localizations with high tourism potential, making the area an appropriate place for recreation. The conducted survey was taken by 110 participants. The survey showed that the spa is generally visited by older generations, and thus we can assume, that Spa Jeseník's main purpose is to treat its visitors' health issues. Younger generation, form only a small portion of visitors, which led to the creation of weekly programs, that could lead to an increase in traffic from younger generations. The bachelor thesis analyzes the image of a selected spa destination - Karlovy Vary. The subject of the thesis is to discover and compare the opinions of residents and visitors on this destination - which products, brands or famous people they know, which services they like or dislike and (in case of visitors) what is the reason for their arrival in the city. The part of a research is knowledge about KarlovyVARY° CARD - a tourist card offering discounts and free admission to tourist attractions. The aim of the thesis is to propose new measures to improve the image of this spa destination. In addition, it leads to greater satisfaction of residents and increasing popularity among tourists.
Attendance development of Czech spa from 1993 to 2015

The master's thesis deals with attendance development of czech spa from 1993 to 2015 according to various segmentation criteria. In the theoretical part, basic terms related to the spa are specified. At first is defined health tourism, spa and product of spa. Further, statistical indicators of attendance and factors influencing attendance development are given. The practical part is focused on analysis of attendance according to age of patients, method of payment and indication groups from 1993 to 2015. The conclusion summarizes essential findings which were discovered in this thesis.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to discover the sense of Czech spas in tourism of the Czech Republic. In theoretical part is defined a term balneology, then is described a history and development of the balneology. Thesis includes exploration of the quality of balneology, regarding lodging, food and beverages, healing and supplementary services. The practical part of bachelor thesis is based on the West Bohemian spa triangle. The main part of thesis consist of analysis of the spa tourism in region Karlovy Vary, comparative research of spa hotels and charakteristics of present trends in this field.
Planning and Development of the Town of Janske Lazne

The primary objective of this Study is a review of key elements of the Town's urban planning and design. The theory introduces destination management challenges faced not only by this particular township but also of other Czech Republic towns and cities specializing in rehabilitation treatments in general. Subsequently, the studied theory is applied to the selected destination of Janske Lazne. Finally, I will recommend possible future developments for the Town.
Marketing communication of the health resort

The Master´s Thesis analyses marketing communication of a selected health resort. The theoretical part maps different marketing forms and tools in a general way and describes their usage and application in the field of spa services. The practical part includes detailed analysis of marketing communication in the particular health resort Spa Mšené, Inc. Based on questionnaire research the thesis assesses effectiveness and efficiency of the communication tools and techniques applied by the mentioned spa. The conclusion summarises some proposals and recommendations for the purpose of possible improvement of the currently used communication strategy.
The current attractiveness of Karlovy Vary in the eyes of Russian visitors and residents

1 ABSTRACT Karlovy Vary is a popular spa and holiday destination of the Russian clientele. Recently has had the attendance of the city upward trend, yet the Russians in the city greatly diminished. The thesis examines the attractiveness of a city as perceived by Russian visitors and residents themselves and investigates the circumstances underlying the real reason for the declining attendance, and is looking for answers to the question, whether the Russian clientele, dominating in the spa centre, could replace the clientele other. The objective of this thesis is to find out whether the Russians lose their interest about the city, and that they are moving it to other competing spa destinations. At the same time is taken into account the current geopolitical events, which have considerable influence to the loss of arrivals of Russians in Karlovy Vary. Analysis of the communication activities of the spa Ostrožská Nová Ves

This thesis analyzes communication activities of the Spa Sirnaté lázně Ostrožská Nová Ves in years 2010 - 2012. During this period, the communication activities and communication strategy of the spa were changed. The thesis was supposed to verify this assumption and describe the changes on the basis of the discovered information. Thesis gives a detailed description of communication strategy, communication goals and marketing goals and analyzes whether these goals were accomplished. Internal documents of Royal Spa group, media outputs and public questionnaires were used to verify this achievement. Analyzed documents, information and questionnaires shows that in the examined period, the main marketing and communication goals were a penetration of news target audience, increasing purchases, brand promotion of the Royal Spa corporation and brand promotion of the Spa Sirnaté lázně. Based on this research it was established that not all of the given goals were achieved mainly due to ineffectiveness of the communication channels and transmission.
