ŠÁLKOVÁ, Tereza
This article presents the results of the macro-remains analysis of the Late Bronze age settlement in Březnice of the excavation in the year 2006. The macro-remains of cultivated plants were found in the form of legumes (lentil, pea, vetch, broad bean) as were four species of wheat (wheat, spelta, emmer, einkorn) and seed of barley and millet. A few small oat and rye grains present in the analysed samples were probably only weeds. This collection is valuable because of species variety of cultivated plants is broad and number of others macro-remakes high.

The methodology was developed in cooperation between experts in the humanities and natural sciences. It seeks to apply and combine procedures of different disciplines. The methodology is recommended to be used with methodology Methods and procedures for the protection of anthropogenic objects of historical human economic activity in forests (Kadavý et al. 2022). Mentality of Jewish settlers in West Bank: An anthropological study
Žebrová, Jiřina ; Biernot, David (advisor) ; Damohorská, Pavla (referee)
7 Abstract This Master's thesis explores the depth of Jewish settler mentality from the radically religious to the secularly pragmatic. The aim is to evaluate their influence on the politics of Israeli governments and Israeli society as a national unit throughout history, and furthermore to point out the phenomenological foundations that the settler movement exhibits from the point of view of national identity, territorial identity and that of religious tradition. This work has been prepared through the careful study of diverse literature which is devoted to the Jewish settlers themselves, their role in the creation of a new identity in the young state of Israel, the general concept of national feelings found in territorial and collective memory, and the correct historical classification of settlement aktivity including its comparison with similar communities outside of Israel. Through my research I have discovered that not only do the settlers living beyond the Green Line show strong national and religious elements, but that they also tend towards more radical forms of dealing with state authorities as well as how they solve territorial dilemmas. The strong religious foundation of the settlers threatens Israel's position in peace negotiations and the state's position in the eyes of the international...
Methods and procedures for the protection of anthropogenic objects of historical human activities in forests
Kadavý, Jan ; Sklenář, Karel ; Novák, Jakub ; Knott, Robert ; Kneifl, Michal
The methodology focuses on the use of information about identification, documentation and presentation of anthropogenic objects - relics of historical human economic activity in forests,. These information result from linking forestry, heritage conservation and archaeology. Anthropogenic objects in forests are mainly old roads, sites of historical raw material extraction, raw material processing objects, abandoned settlements, signs of past coppice management, etc. The reason for the development of the methodology is the fear of loss (damage) of these objects by forestry activities. exacerbated at present by the processing of a bark beetle calamity of big proportions on a substantial part of the Czech Republic. If we accepted damage tor destruction of these objects, we would also accept a loss of cultural and historical heritage of the Czech Republic.

Memory and history of Palliardi family - two concepts of studying the family's past
Pulcová, Kateřina ; Altová, Blanka (advisor) ; Pešek, Jiří (referee)
In this thesis, I focus on the Palliardi family of Italian origin and their activities in the Czech lands using the methodological approaches of historiography and memory studies. Descendants of the Palliardi family still live in the Czech Republic today and some of its members, including myself, are interested in the family history, keeping it in mind and searching for traces of it in the historical sources of family members who worked as plasterers on important buildings of the Czech Baroque period in the 17th and 18th centuries. The family memory does not go back to the time when the first Palliardi came to Bohemia, but based on the historical findings so far, it is assumed that this happened after the Thirty Years' War. The first documented Palliardi in Bohemia was Giovanni Pietro, a plasterer originally from the Lago di Como area, who is mentioned as a burgher of Prague's Lesser Town from 1680 and the ancestor of five generations (until 1870) of this Lesser Town family who were engaged in the profession of plastering or building. Ignác Jan Nepomuk (May 15, 1737 - March 18, 1821) and his son Ignác Alois (1765 - August 10, 1806) became figures of the family memory and important historical personalities of the history of Baroque and Classicist architecture. The last builder of the Palliardi...
An early mediaeval cementery by Mlékojedy whittin his regional context
Derner, Kryštof ; Štefan, Ivo (advisor) ; Tomková, Kateřina (referee)
The basis of the presented thesis is a description of an early mediaeval burial ground in Mlékojedy "Nad hřbitovem", which was discovered in the year 2007. Based on the grave goods, it is dated back from the beginnig of the 10th to the half of the 11th century. The relation of the grave goods to anthropological attributes of burried individuals shows namely an increase in ratio of equipped graves up to an early adulthood and then its gradual reduction. The arrangement of a grave was dependent on dating. The grave with an elite female gariture and the grave with weapons are compared with the similar ones discovered in hinterland of the Litoměřice fortification. A regular positioning of burial grounds on the left bank of the river Labe as early as at the beginning of the 10th century shows an early settlement of this area and allows to dicover the extent of the Litoměřice agglomeration. The author of this thesis proposes, that a simultaneous abandoning of the both known burial grounds in the Mlekojedy estates is an evidence for a transfer of the burial grounds closer to a sanctuary located in the center of the contemporary village. Key words Burial ground, early mediaeval, Mlékojedy, Litoměřice distr., 10th. century, 11th. century, earrings, weapons, social topography, history of settlement,...

Sandanusová, Anna ; Štefan, Ivo (advisor) ; Laval, Filip (referee)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the development of settlement in the Zbraslav region in the Early and High Middle Ages on the basis of archaeological evidence. The main basis for the assessment of the settlement transformation in the region is the catalogue of archaeologically investigated sites and on this basis developed series of maps reflecting the development of settlement in various stages of Early and High Middle Ages. Data obtained on the basis of archaeological sources are supplemented by documentary sources. In the thesis, I deal also with reconstruction of the agricultural background of settlement areas and their relation to the burial sites in the region.
