Title: Injury rate in the ski resorts in the Czech Republic Objectives: Objective of thesis is to obtain knowledges about injury rate in the ski resorts in the Czech republic Methods: I determined and processed information regarding all data about injury rate during winter seasons from 2003/2004 to 2012/2013 in the Czech Republic. Main source of all data was the database of Mountain Rescue Service in the Czech republic. Results: My results show summary of the total number of accidents in each winter seasons. Percentage of injury in alpine skiing, snowboarding and cross country skiing of all injuries. The most common types of injuries and injury localization in the ski resorts in the Czech Republic for the season 2003/2004 - 2012/2013. Assessment of injuries and painful conditions in Irish dancing in CZ and Europe

Author: Anežka Kudrnová Title: Assessment of injuries and painful conditions in Irish dancing in CZ and Europe The goals of the thesis: The goal of this thesis is introduction of Irish dancing with its specification, and its current state here in the Czech Republic and in Central Europe. Further, mapping of the most common injuries and painful conditions, assessing the quality of preparation of the organism for the strain. Methodology: In this thesis a research was conducted of foreign and Czech sources addressing Irish dancing from historical point of view, organisation and primarily injuries. For mapping of the most common injuries, their causes and solution methods were chosen anonymous non-standardised questionnaires. These questionnaires were distributed to dancers from different states, all dancing categories, with age limitation only on the bottom level and that of 12 years old. From 150 distributed questionnaires were returned 130 completely filled and their results were processed by Microsoft Excel. Results: On the bases of the research it was ascertained, that absolute majority of the injuries occurred during Irish dancing, is localised on lower limbs. More than a half of all injuries is then related to the area of the hock joint. From external causes are the dancers affected mostly by footwear....

Title: Incidents and injuries during outdoor courses Aims: The aim is to ascertain the extent of injuries that occurred during outdoor activity courses, conducted within the framework of teaching at the Department of Outdoor Sports FTVS UK. Methods: Qualitative and quantitative analysis of data from the book of injuries, regulations, and final reports of the classes issued by individual departments of the Department of Outdoor Sports FTVS UK which was collected during the school calender of 2009/10 to 2014/15, and their subsequent statistical processing. Using of NACA scoring system for assessing the severity of injuries. The research group consists of students and teachers of FTVS UK. Results: The result of this work is a clear summary of the frequency and severity of injuries incurred in various outdoor activity courses conducted within the framework of teaching at the Department of Outdoor Sports FTVS UK. Heading: Injuries during doing winter sports on the ski slopes in the Czech Republic Objectives: The main objective of the diploma theses was to determine the incidence of accidents in the Czech mountains during the winter seasons from 2000 - 2001 to 2009 - 2010. Methods: We focused on gathering data and information regarding the number of injuries on the ski slopes. The main source of information was the database of Mountain Rescue Service of the Czech Republic that provided us with sets of injuries that happened during skiing and snowboarding within the winter seasons 2000 - 2010. Results: The results of this diploma thesis were statistics of injuries that happened during doing the winter sports for the years 2000 - 2010 and their processing. The diploma thesis "The students' knowledge of first aid, prior to applying professional aid, at selected school" discusses the above topic as a part of the training in both theoretical and practical part of the course at Vocational and Practical School. The theoretical part describes secondary education and subsequently training at selected school. The thesis specifies educational disciplines at chosen school and performing expert and key competencies of graduates from all fields of education. The thesis lists possible existing injury and nontraumatic situations at the school and training workplace with short recommendations for first aid. Conclusion of the theoretical part summarizes the legislation regarding the safety, health protection and prevention at school and educational facilities. The empirical part of the thesis is based on research. Research is carried out using the system of questionnaires. The main objective of the research is to determine the level of students' knowledge in the field of first aid, prior to applying professional aid, at the selected school. The outcome of the empirical part of the thesis based on the research, suggested recommendations together with a proposal for a lesson for teachers to teach first aid at chosen school are formulated. Title: Case study of physioterapy treatment of a patient with the fracture of the distal radius Objectives: The goal of this thesis is to summerize theoretical and practical informaticion about fracture of distal radius, to peruse sources of this problems, proposing therapy and monitor its progress. Includes detailed case studies patient with a fracture of the distal radius. Methodics: The literature search and the case study of this issue was proceeded within the practical experience (from 9th January 2012 to 3rd February 2012) in Oblastní nemocnice Kladno (Regional hospital Kladno). The first part of the work is concerned with the theoretical knowledge of anatomy and functional kinesiology of antebrachium and hand. Then describes the fractures of the distal antebrachium, their treatment and physiotherapeutic methods and examinations. The second part contains the case report which refers to the patient with the fracture of the distal radius, the treatment, the therapy and the pursuance of the curative effect. Analysis and Prevention of the Most Common Injuries Among the Players of Futsal FIFA in the Czech Republic

Title Analysis and Prevention of the Most Common Injuries Among the Players of Futsal FIFA in the Czech Republic. Objectives The aim of this thesis is to introduce one of the dynamically developing modifications of Football - futsal FIFA, assess injuries and point out the importance of using preventive measures. Methods In this thesis, it is used the method of research available to Czech and foreign sources and the method of written questioning - non-standardized questionnaires. This method is used to analyse the most common injuries, injury prevention measures and to obtain information about existing experience of players with physiotherapy. This questionnaire was distributed to the 27 clubs playing futsal 1st, 2nd and lower league competition. A total of 400 players were approached, the data were processed by 236 players (59% return). For data analysis software was used Microsoft Excel® for Mac, 2011. Results It was injured 136 of the 236 surveyed players in season 2015/2016. It corresponds to 42% incidence of injuries. Data obtained from non-standardized questionnaire survey shows that the most common injury to players in the FIFA Futsal Czech Republic is the area of the lower extremity (66 %). Title: Perceived attitudes of FTVS and PedF UK students to the subject of the first aid Aims: The aim of the work was to find out what kind of attitudes the selected groups of students from FTVS and PedF UK, who study physical education, take to learn the subject of first aid and what kind of attitudes they take to provide first aid. Methods: Used method for this thesis was the anonymous survey. The survey was consisted of 16 questions, which were created based on the professional literature. The distribution was realized using the survio.cz platform. The research group was consisted of 102 respondents - students. The research involved 76 women and 35 men. There were 70 students from FTVS UK and 32 students from PedF UK. All participants studied physical education either in a single subject or in combination with another subject. Most students were in the 3rd year of bachelor's study (29) and the 2nd year of master's study (29). The obtained data were displayed using graphs and tables, supplemented by verbal evaluation. Results: Based on the research, it was found that 85.3% of students rate the teaching of first aid in schools with a pedagogical focus as definitely important. Tittle: Determining the frequency of ankle injuries in performance volleyball players. Objective: The main goal of the bachelor thesis is to monitor the frequency of ankle injuries and their causes in volleyball players and to compare the frequency with other volleyball injuries. Methods: The method of data collection will take the form of a questionnaire, where players will be required to fill in gender, age, number of ankle injuries and other important information that will help to write a bachelor's thesis. Results: Based on the results of the research through questionnaires, it could make a positive contribution to the target group in the field of injury prevention and at the same time provide an objective view of the issue of ankle joint injuries. Physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient after distal radius fracture: a case study

Ondřej Pavlovič Title:Physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient after distal radius fracture: a case study Objectives: The objective of the theoretical part is to summarize general theoretical backgroud regarding distal radius fractures (DRF), objective of the special part is to present a case study describing physioterapeutic treatment of a patient after DRF. Methods: This thesis is divided into two parts. In the first, theoretical part, general principles of DRF are described, including anatomic and kinesiologic relatioships, etiology and epidemiology of fractures and their respective classifications, commonly used diagnostic methods and therapeutic possibilities. Second, special part is a case study of a patient after DRF. It includes initial and final examination, description of all therapeutical units and final evaluation of its therapeutical effect. Results: Patient's condition improved, with significant reduction of pain and swelling. There was notable improvement in range of motion and also positive influence on associated soft tissue changes and muscle imbalances of injured arm. Results were both noted subjectively by the patient and measured objectively through examination. Conclusion: Objectives of this thesis were met.
