Chov sklípkanů (Mygalomorphae) v zoologických zahradách

The content of the thesis is a summary of the current knowledge on the biology of the mygalomorphae (Mygalomorphae) together with an evaluation of the results of its breeding in zoological gardens in the Czech Republic and its placement in the context of European zoological gardens. As background data for the evaluation of breeding in the Czech Republic, the yearbooks of the Union of Czech and Slovak Zoological Gardens (USCZOO) from 2013-2022 are used. As a source of data for the evaluation of the breeding of the skink in Europe, the international database ZIMS (Zoological Information Management System) is used, from which a report up-to-date as of March 2024 was used.

Assessing Economic Situation of a Company and Proposals for Its Improvement

This diploma thesis focuses on the assessment of the economic situation of XYZ Med s.r.o. for the period from 2013 to 2022. The economic situation of the company is evaluated on the basis of selected financial indicators, which are then subjected to statistical analysis in order to create a basis for the proposal of measures to improve the situation. The theoretical part describes the financial ratios, correlation analysis, regression analysis and time series. In the analytical part of the thesis, the calculation of financial ratios is performed and then a statistical analysis is carried out on the basis of which the future development of the company is predicted. The analysis also tests the dependence for selected ratios. The practical part contains suggestions for improving the economic situation of the company.

The Effectiveness of Mass Media Instrumentalization in Offensive Foreign Policy Strategies

The dissertation thesis focuses on the issue of the effectiveness of mass media instrumentalization on the information-psychological level in offensive foreign policy strategies. Despite an increased interest in both the offensive potential of mass media assets as well as particular strategies enabling to employ these assets to assertively decide political and military conflicts in the course of the last two decades, there is still a crucial lack of understanding of how the effectiveness of these strategic approaches is produced or could be appraised. Therefore, this dissertation thesis aims to construct a comprehensive definition of effectiveness in the given context and use it to generate a new and unparalleled analytical model that can be applied to proceed with a qualitative assessment of the 'efficiency potential' of (real or prospective) offensive foreign mass media campaigns led on the information-psychological level. 4 Investment asset management comparable to fund management Abstract This thesis concerns the analysis of the legal regulation of the functioning of mini-funds, or persons according to Section 15 of Act No. 240/2013 Coll., on Investment Companies and Investment Funds. These are entities that can manage investment assets without requiring the relevant public authorisation granted by the Czech National Bank. The essence of their existence is the fact that they fulfil some of the characteristics of investment funds, although they are not investment funds. The popularity of the use of this institute in the context of collective investment escalated during the pandemic of the Covid-19 disease. In my thesis I analyse the rights and obligations linked with this management, the legal relations towards investors and also towards the Czech National Bank. The thesis consists of several parts, namely an introduction of the European legislation on which the Czech legislation is based, and the most important part, both in terms of its scope and significance, containing a description and analysis of the Czech legislation. The main subject of this bachelor’s thesis is concise and clear history of civil aviation between year 1970 and 2000. This era is typical with outset of large transport aircraft, which are intended for long distances and big number of passengers, but attention is also paid to aircraft, which are not for transport of so many passengers. Thesis is focus on concise description of individual aircraft, divided by its types of propulsions and producer.

Methods of Building Wear and Their Applicability in Practice

This diploma thesis is a survey describing the relationship that different methods of determination of wear of properties have to valuation of the market price and to the price obtained according to the valid assessment act no. 151/1997 Sb. As a basis for this survey, three family houses of different age were chosen to show the relationships of different methods to prices in various stages of life span of the buildings. All the partial results of the analysis of the different methods of determination of wear of particular buildings were compared with the market and obtained prices. The family houses were assessed according to the assessment act and its relevant implementing decree no. 3/2008 Sb. The valuation of the market prices was made according to the current situation at the real property market in respective locations of the assessed properties.

Apartment Building - Design of Selected Reinforced Concrete Elements

The bachelor thesis is focused on the continuous static solutions of monolithic reinforced concrete ceiling construction and the three-flight staircase in the five-storied apartment house. The entire structure is designed from concrete. To determine the effects of internal forces used computational design of Scia Engineer 2013.1. Assessment of the elements is performed by the first limit state. Work includes developing a static calculation, design reinforcement drawings, shapes and reinforcement drawings solved elements.

This thesis describes design and assessment of the structure of tennis hall of a rectangular floor plan. The building is located in the city of Brno. The project is developed on two variants. The first option is a steel structure with lattice girders. The second option is a wooden construction with glued lamellar girders. The thesis is processed according to ČSN EN standards.
