Redundancy payment and other forms of compensation in employment relations The diploma thesis deals with forms of compensation in employment relations in contemporary Czech labour law. Aside from the Introduction and Conclusion, the thesis consists of four chapters. The second chapter discusses the concept of compensations in labour law, and provides an analysis of the functions of labour law compensations, from the perspective of both the employee and employer. An overview of the different types of compensations is provided, including their categorization. Redundancy payment, the primary and most frequent type of labour law compensation in Czech law, forms the content of chapter three. The functions of redundancy payments are explained, and the terms and conditions which give rise to the right of employees to redundancy payment are analyzed. Further, the amounts of redundancy payments under different circumstances are dealt with in detail, including an explanation of the methods of their calculation; the author also focuses on the category of average monthly remuneration and its importance in this relation. Each of the manners of employment termination and their relevance for the right to redundancy payment are discussed, as well as the amounts of redundancy payments pertaining to each type of...

There were explored the average age and the average lenght of hospitalisation too.

Quality of Life with Regard to the Movement and Adolescent Health in the Prachatice Region.
HOROVÁ, Jindřiška
The Bachelor woks deal with the quality of life in adolescent with regard to health, leisure, movement and media in Prachatice. In the theoretical part I am mapping pubescents as personality. Movement, health and leisure activities, which are typical for adolescent period. Physical and psychological traits teenager. Characterize leisure generally with a specific use in an pubescents. I also deal with youth, sport, inactivity. Environment which acts on the teen. I deal with the main character pubescents, concept of quality of life, and the influence of sports activities in adolescents. I am mapping the Prachatice leisure sports activities, that have positive and negative effects on the health of adolescents. In the practical part I use a method standardized questionnaire ComQol 1997 - translated and adapted for the purposes of my bachelor works. The main objective is to monitor pupils in primary schools in Prachatice. I focus directly the students of 7th - 9th classes of primary school. This section will focus on the lives of adolescent with regard to health, leisure, movement and media. I try to assess leisure activities on adolescent health and movement of Prachatice. Identified research assumptions, I find the practical part with the help of respondents primary school and secondary school in Prachatice. Expected number of statements amounted to 500 questionnaires. The final number was 400 questionnaires. Of these, 160 boys and 240 girls. Of the total research found that more than 80 % of respondents feel healthy without thoroughly knowing your health status , thus confirming the first hypothesis . Research shows that more than 60 % of adolescents engaged in the media and on average 3-6 hours a day. The answers are obvious assumption third, which was not confirmed , since more than 50 % of respondents engaged in leisure-time physical activity.

System of logistical support for emergencies in the Emergency Medical Service in selected regions of the Czech Republic.
TOMŠŮ, Marek
The theme of my thesis is the System of logistical support for emergencies in the Emergency Medical Service in selected regions of the Czech Republic. I chose this theme mainly because of the fact that I work as a rescuer in the Emergency Medical Service of the Central Bohemian Region. In the first part of the thesis, there is specified the essential terminology which is included in the whole project. There is described the historical summary of the beginning of the Emergency Medical Service and the logistics. Other chapters concern the description of the Integrated Rescue System and the essential cooperation of its elements during the intervention. I also analyse the issue of the logistics and public health disabilities on the place of the intervention. In addition, I describe individual Emergency Medical Services in three selected regions of the Czech Republic. It included the Emergency Medical Service of the Central Bohemian Region, the Prague Emergency Medical Service and the Emergency Medical Service of the South Bohemian Region. In chapters which deal with these Emergency Medical Services, there are expounded their forces, (medical) facilities and material support for coping with emergencies. In last chapters, I submit the summary of activities of the Ministry of Health. Furthermore, I mention activities of the allowance organization of Medical Support for the State of Emergency and also activities and roles of the Administration of State Material Reserves ? Czech Republic. Lastly, I summarize findings of the whole thesis in the chapter called ?Discussion?. I also evaluate the accomplishment of set goals and answer to scientific questions which I have already put before the formation of this thesis in the Groundwork for the thesis. In the part ?Results?, I illustrate the amount of exit positions of EMS in individual regions through the use of tables and graphs and I add an overview of the average number of exit positions and rescue teams related to the area of the territory and the number of inhabitants in the region. The aim of my thesis (was): ? to describe the state of the logistical support of the Emergency Medical Service in three selected regions of the Czech Republic (the Central Bohemian Region, Prague, the South Bohemian Region) ? to choose the most appropriate model of the logistical support for emergencies Questions of research: ? What are differences in logistical support for emergencies in the Emergency Medical Services in selected regions of the Czech Republic? ? Which aspects influence the selection of the most appropriate model? The main aim of my thesis ? to describe the state of the logistical support of the Emergency Medical Service in three selected regions of the Czech Republic ? was accomplished. I go into details in chapters 6, 7 and 8. In the chapter ?Discussion?, I described differences in logistical support and in this chapter I write that the mathematical quantification of the material support is not as important as the fact that there is a logistical planning of support for emergencies based on an analysis of risks which are the part of an emergency medical plan of concrete Emergency Medical Services in all selected regions of the Czech Republic. Each of mentioned EMS has special modules for the solution to eventual emergencies and in their usage employees are regularly schooled. In my opinion, this is the most important fact.

Raindlová, Martina ; Sochor, Jaroslav (referee) ; Mokrý, Milan (advisor)
Charles University in Prague, Pharmaceutical Faculty in Hradec Králové Department of pharmaceutical chemistry and drug control Analytical drug evaluation by chromatographical methods V Diploma paper Martina Raindlová In this diploma paper optimal conditions for HPLC analysis of risperidon in tablets were elaborated. One part of the task was finding optimal mobile phase and inner standard, other part was validation of the method and its application in analysis of remedy in pharmaceutical preparation. For the mobile phase a mixture was used in composition : (NH4)2HPO4 (0,1 mol/l ; pH 6,0 - adjusted by H3PO4 0,1 mol/l) : methanol 30:70 (v/v) and with flow rate 0,7 ml/min. LiChroCART 250-4 column with bonded reversed phase C 18 and average particle size of 5 μm. Detection was performed by UV detector at 280 nm wave lenght. Fenacetine was used as an inner standard. Validation of method was confirmed by linearity and precision. For linearity a calibration curve was used, which was constructed from results of five solutions of increasing concentration. Its parameter is equation : y = 4,38x + 0,191. Correlation coefficient is 0,9998. Method is linear. Quantification of risperidone in tablets was determined by HPLC analysis. Declared amount in tablets was 2 mg, real amount was 1,9885 mg/ml which corresponds...

Re-Identification of Vehicles by License Plate Recognition
Špaňhel, Jakub ; Juránková, Markéta (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This thesis aims at proposing vehicle license plate detection and recognition algorithms, suitable for vehicle re-identification. Simple urban traffic analysis system is also proposed. Multiple stages of this system was developed and tested. Specifically - vehicle detection, license plate detection and recognition. Vehicle detection is based on background substraction method, which results in an average hit rate of ~92%. License plate detection is done by cascade classifiers and achieves an average hit rate of 81.92% and precision rate of 94.42%. License plate recognition based on Template matching results in an average precission rate of 60.55%. Therefore the new license plate recognition method based on license plate scanning using the sliding window principle and neural network recognition was introduced. Neural network achieves a precision rate of 64.47% for five input features. Low precision rate of neural network is caused by small amount of training sample for some specific license plate characters.

The impact of motherhood on retirement benefits
Šatava, Jiří
In our analysis, we have attempted to quantify the negative impact of motherhood and parenthood on women’s retirement benefit amount, which is linked to the impact of motherhood on the mothers’ wages and employment. We have calculated that motherhood and parenthood reduces women’s retirement benefits by an average of several hundred Czech crowns per month. This is caused both by lower employment and lower earnings due to parenthood. However, the average reduction in women’s retirement benefits due to parenthood never exceeds 8 percent, even if the impact of parenthood on women’s career were twice that shown in the data.

Trends in the balance and material flows of phosphorus in the Czech Republic.
Hejzlar, Josef
In developed countries, many voices call for increasing the recycling of phosphorus (P) that is a strategic raw material for agriculture and other production sector; phosphorus is also causing environmental problems, for example. eutrophication. Using the methodology of material flow analysis, van Dijk et al. (Sci. Total Environ. 2016, 552: 1078-1093) quantified the main flows and stocks of P in 27 states of the European Union. The contribution presents and discusses data from that publication for the material flows P in the Czech Republic (CR) and compared with the EU. The P balance of CR shows the dependence on imported P through mineral fertilizers (1 kg/ca/yr), food and feed (1.5 kg/ca/yr) and also draws attention to significant environment losses and unused recycling potential. For example, municipal sludge (0.4 kg/ca/yr) and bone meal (0.25 kg/ca/yr) could replace 70% of the P amount in applied mineral fertilizers. P recycling rate in CR in comparison with EU-27 is below average (68% in livestock production, 21% in food production, 10% for human consumption). Agricultural production in CR still uses P reserves in the soil of mineral fertilizers in the past.

Are people more altruistic towards persons of the same sex?
Bartůněk, Martin ; Chytilová, Helena (advisor) ; Kadeřábková, Božena (referee)
This thesis deals with the differences in the degree of altruism between men and women, with varying degrees of information. In three rounds of the dictator game experiment, the dictators decided how to redistribute the money between themselves and the recipient. The differences in altruism among the sexes were already dealt with, for example in the works by Andreoni, Vesterlund (2001), Dufwenberg, Muren (2004) or Eckel, Grossman (1998), whose experiments served to inspire the creation of the experimentation in this work. However, the differences in behaviour of men and women in all the observed rounds proved to be statictically insignificant, in this work. The results of this work do not support the hypothesis of a higher degree of altruism in the situation when the dictator has the information about the sex of the recipient, compared to the situation where he does not have it. Male dictators, as well as female ones, behaved equally altruistically to female and male and anonymous recipients.
