Nutrition and dietary habits of the general nurses and lay public

The aim of the bachelor thesis deals with nutrition, which may significantly affect our health. The theoretical part highlights the factors that may affect establishment of dietary habits and the specificities of nutrition in your lives. It also describes frequent health problems which can be caused by nutrition and presents nutrition recommendations by general nutrition claims and food pyramids. The focus of the work consists of a quantitative explorary surveywhich compares the approach to good nutrition, eating habits and knowledge of general nurses and lay public. It also challenges some of the younger population (20 - 40 years) and eldery (41 - 60 years). The current sample consists of only women in the age category 20 - 60 years.

Bachelor's thesis presented here determines nursing staff knowledge in issues of organ transplantation. The focus of this thesis is a quantitative survey made among nursing staff on the issues of organ transplantation legislation in Czech Republic. The thesis contains information from Transplantation state law, information about the National Registry of persons who disagree with post-mortal use of their organs and tissues and information about the Coordination Centre of organ transplantations. It also considers the determination of death act. The examined sample of population is formed by staff nurses from "Pardubická krajská nemocnice, a.s. "

Typology of Parléř Workshop's Figural Reliefs on Saint Vitus Cathedral 1356-1399

Anotace: Master Thesis "Typology of the figural plastics by Parler workshop in the St.Vitus Cathedral from 1356 to 1399" deals with the typological list of decorative sculpture of Saint Vitus workshop in direct connection to the chapel of All Saints on Prague Castle. It also shows the connections to Old-Town Bridge Tower and supposed influence on decorative sculpture of Prague church of Holy Lady on Tyne. Main chapters deal with the list of figural consoles with heads (masks) on architecture and with the identification of their every type and variant in connection to building development. Photographic documentation of the author was made in cooperation with Prague Castle Archive and with National Heritage institution. Picture supplement includes a lot of author photos of decorative details in situ from interior and from exterior of the cathedral as well as from the depository of building history and also from the standing exposition of Prague castle. The important part of this documentation is also not yet published photographic material (analogy) of figural consoles of Parlers church choir from the church of All Saints on Prague Castle acquired during the building reconstruction in 2008. CPM and implementation of dashboarding

Corporate Performance Management (CPM) is a broad concept focused on managing performance of companies and is related to information technologies like Business Intelligence (BI). CPM and its associated technologies are currently one of the most tracked areas in the field of business informatics. The reason is the growing market competition, globalization, the dynamic changes on the market and the growing need for companies to effectively manage their performance. The aim of the theoretical part of the thesis is to familiarize readers with this concept, with its components and link to business informatics. The work focuses on a specific area of CPM, which is monitoring and analysis, i.e. dashboarding. In the thesis there is analyzed monitoring and analytical functionality of the software Microsoft Office PerformancePoint Server 2007 (PPS). Furthermore, there are identified dashboard and scorecard concepts and analyzed the characteristics and categorization of dashboards. There are various best-practices approaches to deployment of dashboarding into business. In the thesis there are mentioned some of these practices and basic rules for proper dashboard design. At the end of the theoretical part of the thesis there are evaluated the world's leading suppliers of CPM solutions. The aim of the practical part of the thesis is design and documentation of CPM dashboarding solution based on the real business data of the company that provides consulting services and develops BI software. The solution is designed in the PPS software and its purpose is to support the company's management in terms of monitoring the effectiveness of internal and external projects and business activities of the company. The solution is not a definitive CPM solution, but a step by the company to reveal possible weaknesses in the organization and encourage efforts to develop its own holistic CPM solution.

Project of field road between villages

The title of my thesis is {\clq}qProject of field road between villages``. The purpose of thesis was making better traffic connection between villages Kuří and Černé Údolí. I created side field road here, uniflow with category of suggestion P4,5/30. I chose two variants of the route field road, witch is connecting these villages and I evolved study. After a consultation with the executive of my thesis, one of these I have evolved into detailed longitudinal profile. Directional solution is created with respect to inprovemnt of a land-scape and minimization of earthworks. The project must carry out all technical claims for suitable version. The beginning of the routes is in the village Kuří, there is conneting with current road. Both of variants are long above 3,8 km. Hide-rise solution is propo-sted to vertical alignment reproduces terrain {--} this is the way for minimization of ear-thworks.

Drug-related Deaths in the Capital City of Prague in the Police Statistics

Introduction: Background: Police in Prague collects data on drug-related deaths, which is investigating. These data are not collected for later statistical processing. Objective: Epidemiological analysis of these data to describe the character of drug-related deaths, characteristics of deceased persons and their comparison with other available resources. Methods: A group of police investigators, dealing with drug crime was submited a list of items with request to finding of documentation of drug-related death. About drug-related deaths found only a limited range of information. Police were given only the data from the years 2008 and 2009. Data were analyzed and compared with data on drug-related death in Prague, which was extracted from a special mortality registry. Results: The Police recorded between 2008 and 2009 a total of 25 deaths associated with drug use. In 23 cases, most likely was an overdose. Two cases were reported as deaths in the presence of drugs. Police registered persons were mostly men - 19 cases ( 76%), women were in 6 cases (24%). Deaths were most often in the age group 25-29, in this age group occurred 12 people (48% of the total sample). In the teoretical part I am concentrated on the questions of the reasons, utterances, medicinal treatment and the problems concerning the medicinal nurses approach to such patiens. The core of this dissertation is based on the quantitative research in the form of questionnaire, concentrated on the investigation of the quality of life during the mentioned issues.
