Feedback in the management and leadership of non-medical healthcare professionals and management of their work performance

In my dissertation, I discuss the problematic of feedback in a leadership of medical non- doctor personnel and in directing its working performance. My aim was to comprehend and elucidate the process of feedback between superior and subordinate personnel, specifically between bedside nurses/assistive personnel and a charge nurse. As a secondary objective, I decided to investigate potential areas for improvement in leading management and to suggest possible advancements, which could contribute to more effective directing of work performance through the use of feedback. The dissertation is divided into two parts, theoretical and empirical. In the first theoretical part, I begin with defining the meaning of feedback. Following, I introduce topics that include: feedback in social communication, feedback in the process of directing work performance and work motivation. In the second empirical part, I present research conducted with the use of qualitative methodology, where the reader can view the discussed problematic from the perspective of subordinate (bedside nurses/assistive personnel) and superior (charge nurses) personnel. Motivation and remuneration of employees in a medium-sized company-mas

The main aim of this diploma thesis is to analyse the state of remuneration of employees, the way of their motivation and suggest a possible change of the system based on the found results. The aim of the first, theoretical part is the synthesis of professional publications, the output of which will be a literary overview. The comprehensive view of the issue is set and there are analysed the most important theoretical findings relating to the medium-sized business, motivation, motivation theory, motivation and remuneration, remuneration management and its objectives, rewards and work performance, the structure and form of wages, evaluation of work, the most common forms of wages, employee benefits, MS as an instrument for motivation and remuneration. The course of the research is presented in the practical part and it is carried out in the XY health insurance company. At first, this organization is briefly described and then a self-directed research is conducted through a questionnaire survey of counter staff, client centre managers and project managers / shoppers, the current state of employee remuneration and motivation is analysed.Subsequently, an analysis of the effect of the IMS reward compared with the adoption of IMS and motivation for improvement of client center managers and counter-staff is performed. Thus the data obtained from the questionnaire survey with the data provided by the company on IMS remuneration are compared. Finally, the acquired data are evaluated, suggested recommendations for improvement of the situation and a summary of the work is drawn up.
School Board and its participation in School Management

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of setting up school councils in elementary schools. Respondents of the empirical research were founders' deputies of complete primary schools in Hradec Kralove Region and chairpeople of their school council.In particular, the results of the survey can be used to find possibilities for cooperation between the principal and the school council, so that its activities can help to the overall development of the educational process in the given school. As a basis for reflection, it can serve all stakeholders, i.e. school management, pedagogical staff, founders, and last but not least parents. The aim of this thesis is to find out which with the law given competencies of school councils the founders concider to be the most important and the most useful during keeping and managing their schools. The partial aim wants to verify if the founders' opinion is the same with chairpeople's opinion in the school council. Analysis of Motivation System of State Land Office Employees

The goal of my diploma thesis is to analyze and summarize general knowledge of work motivation and its application in the environment of the State Land Office (hereinafter SLO). A part of the goal is also my own suggestion of precaution and recommendation, how to improve satisfaction of employees and the ability of the middle and the higher management to motivate subordinate employees. To fulfil the goal a method of quantitative research has been used, in which we work with all the SLO employees. Evaluation of the data in relation to the set hypothesis was done in form of calculating averages of respondents answers and at the same time comparison of satisfaction and importance of work satisfaction factors. The diploma thesis has come to conclusion, that the SLO employees are satisfied with some of the other work satisfaction factors, than those which are important for them. A part of the conclusion was also a discovery, that the employees have many suggestions and impulses to make changes, which should take place within the framework of the SLO. Results of the questionnaire contributed to launching of a new SLO project, which deals with improvement of work satisfaction of the SLO employees.
Increasing efficiency of work performance in selected company

The thesis deals with increasing the efficiency of work performance in Favi online s.r.o. The main objective is to find out which factors affect the efficiency of work performance and propose optimization measures as to how the company can stimulate employees to increase work performance. The theoretical chapter defines the main terms of the thesis, work performance, managing of work performance and motivation. The reader is also introduced to the stated issue. The main objective of this thesis is to capture the work performance of Favi online s.r.o. and its evaluation and remuneration. The final section includes data interpretation and proposes optimization measures to increase efficiency of work performance.
Make use of team-building activities for increase in motivation, performance and loyalty of employees in chosen company

The goal of the diploma thesis was an analysis of an influence of team-building activities on motivation, performance and loyalty of employees in the Národní Pokladnice s.r.o.. The answers on the previous questions was found out by questionnaires among the employees of the company. The answers on the previous questions were found out via questionnaires among the employees of Národní Pokladnice s.r.o. company. The fact that the employees are more loyal due to team-building activities I can confirm on the grounds of the questionnaires as well as the team-building can have an impact on work performance derivatively thanks to pleasant working conditions, nice group of people and good relationships. The work relationships and motivation are topics full of contradictions in theory as well as in practise. In spite of that, the respondents tend to an opinion that the relationships are motives for them. A partial goal was to suggest a better way of organization of the event in the future or to decide whether to hold the event at all. The employees evaluate last events very positively and they are looking forward to the next one. I recommend to keep the general thought of the event but to diversify particular activities more in accordance with a difficulty.
Analysis of performance management of the educational staff at primary school

The thesis aims to analyse the content of the performance management of teachers at an elementary school. The theoretical part first defines basic terms of human resources and the latest concept of human resource management. Subsequently, the individual terms of the core area of performance management are introduced. A specification of the target organization concludes the theoretical part. The research section reveals the application of the individual components of performance management in a real environment of particular elementary schools. It was chosen the quantitative research for the research survey, particularly the technology questioning. It was used the method of semi-structured interviewing technique and the content analysis of school documents for consistency. The final section is devoted to a summary of results and the achievement of project objectives.
Factors affecting performance of teaching staff of secondary schools in Pribram

This diploma thesis describes and analyses the factors influences the working performance. It deals with the basic terms from the management area about the working performance. Mainly the terms work performance, work efficiency, working performance management are described, also the factors influencing the working efficiency are described. It clarifies the difference between the personal assumptions for the working performance relating directly with the worker and external factors, which cannot be influenced by the worker. Thesis is closely aimed at the process and setting which emerges from the organisation running. These factors are verified by the research done at the secondary school in Pribram. The research is executed by quantitative method with the usage of questionnaires. These questionnaires were drawn up that it enabled to compare with the analysis of current definitions of the working performance and working productivity. In the implementation of the research were compared the influences of the individual groups of factors which influence the pedagogical workers' working productivity on the secondary high schools in Pribram. The analysis of the current definitions dealing with the working performance and productivity were confirmed.
