Impacts of suburbanization on a village - case study of Velebov village

The process of residential suburbanization, frequently in form of urban sprawl, takes place in the developed countries since mid 18th century. On the other hand, in the Czech Republic it is relatively new phenomenon, heavily appearing since 90s of the 20th century. Although many previous studies were focused on newly built suburbs, all of them took place in the surroundings of the biggest Czech cities. In the first part of the thesis the author sums up historical development of suburbanization's forms (by analyzing the available documents) and focuses especially on modern suburbanization processes in the Great Britain, USA and the Czech Republic, consequences of suburbanization in form of urban sprawl and effect on existence and function of communities in new suburbs. The author then uses a case study approach to study Velebov village (which is the target of suburbanization from Karlovy Vary) and, while using methods of analysis of the documents, qualitative and quantitative interviewing of residents, focuses on composition of inhabitants, social contacts and overall social cohesion within the village. The process of constructing social status during transition to new classroom

The aim of the research was to describe and understand the process of constructing social status during transition from elementary school to high school. The theoretical part focuses on the classroom as a social group, there is described the social structure of the classroom, as well as the most common roles and sociometric positions that occur in the classroom. There are also discussed relevant topics about adolescence and possible ways for exploring social relations within the classroom. In the empirical part I present a qualitative research, in which have been involved five high schools from Prague and its surroundings, N= 104 students. For this purpose two questionnaires were used - sociometric rating questionnaire SORAD and questionnaire mapping experience of the individuals in interpersonal relationships and their satisfaction with the change of the school community. Based on data analysis and interpretive methods, I conclude that social status is constructed in the earliest interactions between members and there is only a little variability. Quantitative research of the social climate of grammar classes

The aim of the work was to determine if the social climate varies significantly between four-year and eight-year high-school. Classes were tested by a standardized questionnaire KLIT, author is Lašek. Participated in the research are 8 classes, 166 students. There are no significant differences in climate. Differences were found between lower and higher grades. The results will be provided to school leadership and classroom teachers and students for the subsequent work with them.
The Impact of Teambuilding on the Social Climate in Organization

The thesis deals with the impact of teambuilding on the social climate in organization. The theoretical part describes the climate in the workplace, corporate culture, teamwork and clarifies the concept of teambuilding, including its principles and forms. The practical part consists of the presentation of the research results concerning the effects of a teambuilding course organized for the employees of Essox s.r.o. Based on the theoretical analysis, the diploma thesis states that teambuilding affects the social climate in the organization, and it is one of the means how to improve its social climate. The research revealed that the Essox teambuilding had a positive impact on the social climate in the area of interpersonal relationships, but did not impact on building teams and teamwork.
Recognition qualities clime in arrangement informal and special - interest education

This thesis addresses the issue of ensuring a healthy climate of the pet and informal learning, analysis tools that detect and measure the social climate at school. Further modifications of this tool for the needs and interest of non-formal education. The first part of this thesis is focused on the terms leisure and leisure activities, motivation, social climate. There is a dedicated space for the interest groups, which affects the measurement of change. In the next section, attention is focused on the issue of pedagogical-psychological diagnosis and its possible use in practice. The practical part includes a modified questionnaire CES and its application in the environment of interest and non-formal education through outcomes of the professional community.
Social Climate at Youth Cluba and its Diagnostic

The purous of my bachelor work was to try in practice the pedagogically-psychological diagnostic {--} a questionaire which has been aplicated in a school youth club and analyzed. In the first part of my work I deal with the terms which I use in the practical part. These are: social climate, social relations, social communication and socialization. It also contains information about the school youth club, its aims and functions. In the following part I deal with the questions of pedagogically-psychological diagnostic, what it is and how we can use it. Then I describe strategies and methods of the diagnostic and methods of its utilization. The practical part deals with the pedagogically-psychological method which uses questionaires. The aim is to find out the realtions among children in the school youth club and their satisfaction with the equipment. Thanks to the filled-in questionaires I have found out that the relationships among children are good and they are almost satisfied with the environment.
Creation and check tutorial programme on base psychomotor activities for adolescents.

The aim of my bachelor thesis is creation and check tutorial programme on base psychomotor activities for adolescents. The partial aim is monitoring and evaluation of its influence on the social competences and on the social climate of the school class. The programme results from psychomotor didactics and is formed for adolescents and for implementation in the common school conditions. The programme was applied to randomly select experimental group of 21 participants from December 2008 to February 2009. Before and after its application it was held a survey of school class social climate by virtue of the questionnaire "My Class Inventory". Other relevant information of climate in the experimental group was acquired from observation and interviews. All the gained data were processed and evaluated. The results from experiment uphold its feasibility in practise and its positive influence on the indicators in view.
Social System of an Organization and its Quality

My thesis is dealing with the social system of an organisation and its quality. It is divided in the theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part I describe general aspects of an organisation concerning it a system of social relationships. I look at the development of an organisation in the course of time and I make an overview of the indicators and instruments used for measuring the system's quality. I applied my theoretical knowledge in the practical part. I measured the quality of social relationships with the indicators as social values and standards, corporate ethics and social climate. I consider them the most important in my thesis.
Analysis of job satisfaction

Diploma theses analyses the job satisfaction problem of employees of the company XY including the social climate aspects. On the basis of questionnaire method the factors which are affecting job satisfaction in positive way, as well as the factors which originate job dissatisfaction have been specified. The information obtained from these questionnaires have been analysed and explicated at the same time. The author has proposed some measures to remedy the situation in the workplace as well to increase the factor of job satisfaction, motivation and social climate in the workplace.
