Headmaster's function in the concept of preprimary education

The diploma thesis deals with the director's function in pre-primary education. The aim of the diplom thesis is to analyze and evaluate processes and management in the concept of preschool education, emphasizing the role of the headmaster of the kindergarten as the governing body responsible for the quality of educational processes. The preschool headmaster works closely with other pedagogical staff and deputy directors whose functions are also mentioned, here. The pedagogical staff are indispensable in the educational process of the school. The concept of pre-primary education is characterized in the theoretical part by its legislation. It focuses on the work activities of pedagogical staff - teachers, deputy director and director. It introduces the functions of the kindergarten, represents individual activities in kindergarten mode and mentions the obligatory documentation, which is necessary for the functioning of preschool organization. It explains the management within the studied field and describes the individual management processes and functions. Intergenerational programs in the practice of educational institutions

The thesis is focused on the possibilities in the management of the intergenerational programmes. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the issue of intergenerational learning from the point of view of the management of educational institutions and to create a proposal of methodology for intergenerational programs management. The first part discusses the management in general, educational management and the characterization and classification of educational institutions and the scope of non-profit organizations. It also deals with lifelong learning and defines intergenerational learning as one of its forms. It deals with the categorization of intergenerational learning and the definition of its linkage in formal, non-formal and informal learning. The work defines the concept of age management, describes its implementation in practice and focuses on the topic of intergenerational programs, their specification, categorization and definition of their benefits and risks. 1 ABSTRACT This thesis deals with the educational management of the teaching staff supervising the state graduation exams. The theoretical part explains the concept of educational management and focuses in detail on the managerial function of organization. It describes the current form of the state graduation exams, related legislation and institutions involved. The thesis explains the staffing of graduation exams and individual training programs for teachers, and clarifies the role of further education of teachers. The aim of the work is to optimize the organization surrounding the education of teachers supervising the state graduation exams in Prague and Central Bohemia. The data in the presented research were collected via a survey among participants of the education related to the state graduation exams in Prague and Central Bohemia in the school year of 2015/2016 and interviews with lecturers of relevant training programs. Trends in the field management of the education in dissertations of department

The Management of the education is the five years old filed of study of the Faculty of Education of Charles University in Prague. This dissertation is looks for some trends of this field, based on all dissertations of the department for the period 2012-2016. The dissertation also provides an overview that is good for understanding of important concepts such as management, school management, educational policy or management ef education. The main goal of this dissertation is to map the development of topics and contents that have appeared during the last five years in the dissertation of the department, to analyze the problems that were most often encountered and to find out which factors influenced the selection of themes and the whole process.

This diploma thesis analyses the content of articles of the international journal "The International Journal of Educational Management" (IJEM). The magazine focuses on educational management. The aim of the thesis is to analyze proffesional articles, which were published in this journal between 2000 and 2015. The major theories of the educational management for the period of 2000 - 2015 were based on these results. The diploma thesis contains two main parts, a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part defines the educational management and the development of it. Next is the describtion of the procedure and methods of content analysis. Analytical part contains the results of analyzes that were evaluated. The conclusion of the thesis is based on the results of the analysis and is responsible for the research work. Specifics of managing alternative schools

The thesis discusses the specifics of the management of alternative schools in Czech Republic. The aim is to compare selected type of alternative schools in the Czech Republic, focusing on management, analysis of differences in management from the management of public schools. The theoretical part deals with the definition and the development of alternative schools, the features and functions of alternative schools. The practical part analyzes the document and standardized interviews with selected schools. The result is a comparison of selected types of alternative schools in the Czech Republic, with focus on the management, and analysis of the differences from management of public schools. The diploma thesis looks into talent management in context of educational management with the application of professional literature analysis. It describes talent acquisition, human resource development, career management and succession planning and points out the connection between these and other human resource processes and talent management. It specifies the approach of personality psychology, industrial organizational psychology, vocational psychology, positive psychology, social psychology, educational psychology and management to the meaning of the talent. It defines talent management strategy, including a guideline on how to create one. It compares every approach to the talent amongst each other and summarizes the main difference. It presents research results on talent management application within organizations, which brings the attention to a low rate of application of this process and its complete absence within the educational institutions in the Czech Republic. It describes talent management best business practice in the educational sector abroad. Analysis of the secondary schools optimization project in the town of Varnsdorf

The subject of the thesis is to analyze the optimization of secondary schools in Varnsdorf from procedures of the preparation, negotiations and approval process, to its realization. There search is based on data obtained through two of qualitative research methods: Participatory observation Analysis of documents - artifacts The thesis conclusion is based on triangulation, the penetration of various research methods, and contains, among others, recommendations for the Ministry of Education, Department of Regional Education Offices, regional councilors, and management of schools that prepare optimization projects. Particular attention is given to the impact of the optimization on the College and Secondary School in Varnsdorf.
Management education of giften children in the Czech republic

A goal of my dissertation is to find out current educational conditions of gifted children in Czech Republic. What legislative, financial and methodological proceedings of state policy influence education of talented children and their possible impact on schools. Another aim is to verify how important this educational field is attributed by headmasters at primary schools and what helps or complicates introducing methodical education of gifted pupils. The dissertation contains of three parts. The first one is theoretical which acquaints readers with educational field of talented children in the Czech Republic in sphere of legislative, including the glance abroad. Second part is an empirical questionnaire survey, based on interview detecting conditions for education of exceptionally gifted children at primary schools. It focuses on headmasters, their motivating, educating and evaluating of teachers and what advantages for school it brings. Another goal is to find out possibilities and differences in financing the work with talented children in particular regions. On the basis of established data is created a manual, which could help headmasters to introduce methodical education of gifted pupils. The manual is drawn up as a gradual successive approach.
