Optimization of Project Management by Implemetation of Agile Methodology

The diploma thesis deals with the proposal of agile project management methodology for the company engaged in the development of custom-made applications. This thesis will be based on an analysis of the current state, which describes the current state of approach to project management. The subject of the thesis is to improve processes and streamline project management using agile methods.
Agile project management in selected company

This work is focused on developing of own proposals and recommendations for future growth of agile approach in selected company, based on description and analysis of existing procedures in this company. There is basic characteristic of selected company, general and specific description in case study after study of theoretical basis. Agile procedures are compared to principles of agile manifesto and Scrum method in conclusion of the case study. There are identified shortcomings of procedures in agile project management of selected company based on this comparison. For mitigation, or elimination of these shortcomings, there are presented and discussed own proposals and recommendations for future growth of agile approach in selected company.
Application of the Agile Methods in the Company

This bachelor thesis describes the issues of agile methods of software development. The theoretical part presents the rigorous and agile methods and their comparison. It further describes the agile method Scrum in a detail. The study also includes the analysis of current situation of the real company, which is in the process of transformation to agile methods and the company uses Scrum. Based on this analysis, various solutions to the revealed problems are suggested.

This diploma thesis deals with a type of a project management of marketing activities in a company, where agile methods are used for development of its software product. The theoretical part describes specifications of traditional and agile methods, their comparison, a profound description of the Scrum method and the use of agile methods for marketing activities. In the following part, there is issued an analysis of the current situation in the company oriented to marketing department and possible solutions of discovered problems are suggested there.

This master thesis focuses on the agile methods description and their use in creating of company strategic material. The main part of this thesis consist of the SCRUM and Kanban method. The work contribution is an optimization of the document creation process. The solution proposed is implemented through the MS SharePoint server with mind mapping module and Kanban board module. Thanks to this solution, company project can be managed in a more effective, faster and higher quality way.

The aim of the study is to compare traditional and agile approaches to project management, analyze particular projects in selected company and propose recommendations for t for implementing agile and traditional approaches. Thesis is focused on IT project management, specifically in in the field of developing software products and services. The theoretical part is devoted to project management and the characteristics of the basic concepts. Furthermore it deals with the traditional methods and agile approach to project management and differences between them. Theoretical knowledge is then applied in the practical part in a corporate environment. Major differences between traditional waterfall and agile approach are compared using the examples of real projects. In conclusion, there are basic problems in implementation of agile methods in corporations and recommendations for their implementation.
Application of modern elements in classical project management

This thesis deals with project management and with different ways in which can be cur-rently approached. Beside the conventional, classical approach based on processes, modern approaches based on the theory of constraints and agile principles are discussed. Based on analysis, the main objective of the thesis is firstly to find weaknesses in the classical project management and strong key elements of modern approaches and after that to make suggestions to enhance the classical approach with the selected strong elements of modern approaches.
