Linguistic and encyclopedic information in terminological translation dictionary

Dictionaries of scientific terms bring knowledge about LSP (Ianguage for special purpose). The knowledge of every lexical unit can be divided into the linguistic and encyclopedic part of knowledge, although the border is unclear, especially where the semantic linguistic information implies encyclopedic information as weil. The presentation of information and their range depends on the dictionary users, their specific needs and on dictionary situations. The German-Czech Dictionary of Astronomical Terms is a LSP dictionary. It contains basic terms of the astronomy science and is intended for laymen, students and readers of popular science texts and easier LSP literature. About each lemma it provides linguistic as weil as encyclopedic information in the form of a dictionary article with an extensive macrostructure.

Java-C++ compiler

The goal of this thesis is to create the tool for translation of Java 1.5 source code to output C++ code on the assumption that input source code is able to be compiled. Part of this thesis is the proposal of method, which leads to translation, as well as analyze of Java constructs, which cannot be translated automatically to efficient C++ output. Implementation of translator uses parsing mechanism based upon Java grammar specification, extensible for additional modules.

POSSIBILITY OF TERRITORIAL AND LOCAL DEVELOPMENT AT THE AREA OF STARÉ HOBZÍ VILLAGE

The thesis is looking into development of Staré Hobzí village, which is consisted of five country residences (Staré Hobzí, Nové Hobzí, Vnorovice, Nové Dvory, Janov), specifically into drawing up a proposal of Village Renewal Programme. The introduction includes brief characteristic of the village environment in relation to territorial and local development, as well as analysis of the village literature and development materials. In the next part it gathers suggestions for the next development of the country residences, which were gained from the development materials, conversation with local experts, as well as from asking local inhabitants (extensive survey) and from personal terrain research of the residences and surrounding territory. The thesis proceeds to a proposal of structured system of activities of the Staré Hobzí Village Renewal Programme, which includes activities that support cultural and sports life, entrepreneurship, maintenance and reconstruction of buildings and public areas, completion of the technical infrastructure, and supporting the village cooperation with other villages.

The aim of this thesis is a detailed analysis of marketing plan for line extension of Lucky Strike on Czech tobacco market. The theoretical part will be focused on the analysis of a brand, proccess of strategic brand management and marketing planning. The practical part is dedicated to positioning and marketing plan of Lucky Strike.

Analysis of services in selected guesthouse in region Liberec and concept of it's future development

To create this work, the author chose guesthouse Daro in Liberec because of a family relationship with the owner of this guesthouse and the opportunity to help improvement of guesthouse services. Improvements should serve to get more satisfied customers. At first the author studied literature to obtain information for the development work, such as information about tourism, services and marketing. It was further necessary to characterize tourism in the region Liberec. To find out which service upgrade or expand, there was collected information directly from customers via questionnaire. The questionnaires revealed that customers cannot use the pool on the guesthouse ground. On the basis survey results author developed a new business plan about pool enclosure. This extension serves to enable customers to use the pool even in bad weather.

Road I/69 Jasenná – Liptál - Study

The subject of this thesis is the extension of an existing road I/69 in the section Jasenná - Liptál with the climbing line and to secure the transport service at bus stops along the road. The road I/69 between the villages of Liptál and Jasenná has high elevation and inconvenient directional and height parameters. The basic objective of the study is to improve and increase comfort in this section. The work is editing width arrangements and takes to account connections of tertiary roads to the road I/69. In this work were created two variants with a width arrangement 12.5 and 13.5 meters.

CIENCIALA, R.: Extending arbitration clause on third parties in (international) commercial arbitration - selected issues in comparison of international arbitration practice and Czech law; doctoral thesis ABSTRACT The purpose of my doctoral thesis is to analyse in the context of the (international) commercial arbitration whether at all, and if so under what conditions can an arbitration agreement be extended on third parties as its non-signatories - i.e., parties who have actually not undersigned the said agreement. The thesis is based on a critical analysis thereof by evaluating the selected and relevant case-law, both judicial and arbitral, and the key legal jurisprudence in comparison of the international arbitration practice and Czech law. The thesis consists of nine main chapters. After the introduction of the subject-matter (first chapter), I focus on a fundamental basis thereof - i.e., the doctrine of separability of an arbitration agreement from the underlying contract (second chapter), followed by a thorough analysis of a selected theoretical conceptions concerning the extension of arbitration agreement on third parties (third to seventh chapter). Rendering Using Deep Shadowmaps

In computer graphics is problematic shadow rendering. Applications require to choose the appropriate lighting and shading method with respect to speed and display quality. This work is focused on rendering the shadows and eliminate alias, arising during their creation. For to create shadows will work to implement the methods Shadow Maps and she's extensions variant Deep Shadow Maps. Shadow maps allow to create shadow independently of the scene complexity without treatment alias. Deep shadow maps are able to display shadows along with the removal of alias thereby improve the quality of shading. For lighting scene are used local Lambert lighting models. The resulting application is created with using library OpenGL.

Viewing Large Raster Geodata Online

This thesis describes the design of a multi-platform client-server application to access large raster data, existing and proposed ways to optimize the running speed and processing raster. The advantage of the application is an updated version of GDAL for reading most known raster format, and implementing extension for reading GeoPDF with open-source PDF rendering library. Integrating created and optimized server component into the open-source project IIPImage improves it to support more raster formats.
