Production system animation
Veselský, Josef ; Veverka, Petr (referee) ; Simeonov, Simeon (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the concept of creating a graphical user interface for the animation of a production process. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part contains a research of the development of the software used for the process simulation. Further there are described the basics of using simulation and animation, its advantages and disadvantages. The theoretical part of this work is completed by the description of the technology and software, which was used for creating graphical interfaces for the animation. The practical part is focused on developing software interfaces. It describes the elements which were used in programming and there are explained basic functions of the software. The practical part is completed with a summary of the output data which the program offers the user. The thesis is accompanied by a CD, which contains the source code and the final vision of the program.
Acquisition contrast of X-ray projection and projection-reconstruction imaging
Zubal, Lukáš ; Jiřík, Radovan (referee) ; Drastich, Aleš (advisor)
The work resulted in computer application which simulates X-ray projection and projection-reconstruction imaging in voxel space. Application user becomes acquainted with terms of acquisition contrast of X-ray projection and projection-reconstruction imaging. The thesis takes detailed look at algorithms of computing ray integrals and X-ray projection and projection-reconstruction imaging. The potential of modern computer graphics is also discussed.
Geometric surface modeling
Adámková, Barbora ; Martišek, Dalibor (referee) ; Štarha, Pavel (advisor)
The Bachelor thesis deals with display geometric surfaces on a computer in parallel projection and central projection. It includes part of mathematical theory which is necessary for definition of given projection. There are couple of important terms defined such as euclidean space, projective space, surfaces and elementary operations. The thesis also includes description of applications development for display geometric surfaces by using the author's own procedures and functions (so-called library) in Delphi 7 and by using OpenGL library. This Bachelor thesis result is the writer's own implementation of described processes by applications development.
Vizualization of static problems using computer graphics methods
Komínek, Jan ; Procházková, Jana (referee) ; Martišek, Dalibor (advisor)
This Bachelor's final project deal with vizualization stress of simple statically determinate members by software solutions. This project present basic theory of stress analysis and elasticity, basic vizualization by computer graphics methods and description of algorithms use for software solutions.
Design of a computer mouse
Uhlíř, Filip ; Sládek, Josef (referee) ; Rajlich, Jan (advisor)
In this bachelor’s thesis is solved a concept of computer mouse which is designed for a small field of computer graphics and 3D graphics. My objective was design novel concept of mouse that exceed the existing production by her visage and functionality. This project contains analysis and description of technology applied in mouse and theirs historical development. Second part is dedicated to my concept, variations and its specifications.
Visual styles of music videos and using Adobe After Effects for their postproduction
Línková, Johana ; Krist, Antonín (advisor) ; Bubeníček, Jan (referee)
This thesis is focused on visual styles of music videos and their postproduction in Adobe After Effects. The aim of this thesis is to identify how different styles of computer graphics can be used in music videos. This was obtained by analyzing variety of music videos which resulted in forming 6 categories. Most suitable tools of Adobe After Effects are suggested within each cathegory. Plan of comparative methodology for these categories is also a part of this thesis. Thanks to suggested tools, thesis can be used as an inspirational guide or catalogue for amateurs or students interested in computer graphics and music videos. Thesis will also provide an overview of current trends and possibilities of using computer graphics in music v ideos.
Panteon heraldických figur jako cesta k logotypu
MACOUN, Ondřej
Abstract In my thesis, I am dealing with heraldry as a sciense of two worlds. There is an introduction as well as its historical function in the first chapter. It?s origin, evolution in time and value for modern society along with the basic rules for creation of crests as heraldry artifacts is listed here as well. In the next chapter, heraldry is defined as a specific form of art with fixed and stable order. Part of the work is a convolute consisting ten drawn pictures of heraldic figures, which are based on heraldic tradition, but closing on its modern image of logotypes. Description and process of their creation are included in the practical section along with the design of utilization heraldry as a source of inspiration for teaching art on a second grade in elementary school.
Methodology of management of VFX projects in cinematic and commercial postproduction
Poštulka, Ondřej ; Šedivá, Zuzana (advisor) ; Chocholatý, Drahomír (referee)
Post-product studios which finalise the results of authorial audiovisual products are an important part of the media space. In this thesis, I am dealing with one of the phases of post-production film processing -- the methodology of management and optimization of VFX projects, by which I mean the utilization of computer graphics in the creation of special visual effects in film and advertising. In order to optimize VFX projects I designed a sample project based on a typical, VFX postproduction which became the basis for the comparison of the general principles of the project management and actual procedure used in practice with the quest to optimize the management of the project. The purpose of this thesis is to establish a project management methodology for a VFX project which consists of four subsequent steps. The first step is the division of a VFX project into phases. The second step is the identification of auxiliary computer programmes for each phase, followed by an analysis of the risks and the evaluation of the optimal procedure. The first part of this thesis is devoted to the general definition of computer graphics and their use in post-production. The second part focuses on the development of the management methodology of VFX projects by testing it on a sample project.
Company and product presentation using various techniques and tools of computer graphics.
Tokhyan, Aramayis ; Čermák, Radim (advisor) ; Benáčanová, Helena (referee)
The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to describe various techniques of company and product presentation using various types of documents. Also covers the basics of company presentation, propagation and advertisement. With greatest emphasis on internet advertisement covers the issue of banner advertisement. The practical part is dedicated to the concrete scenario of creating banners using knowledge gained in the theoretical part.
Advanced digital illustration and its purpose in commercial sphere
Phung, Nghia ; Krsek, Libor (advisor) ; Horný, Stanislav (referee)
The purpose of this bachelor's thesis is definiton of Advanced Digital Illustration as a standalone discipline of digitlac graphic arts, separated from vector graphics and photographic retouching/montage. The thesis is made of 3 parts. The first theoretical part contains an introduction do Digital Illustration along with the history of the discipline. Precise borders will be also set to divide ADI from other digital art fields, in which is ADI often subsumed. Next, I will be introducing software and hardware commonly used for PDI. Lastly, an introduction of basic ADI styles, used the most for commerce, will be included. The second part of the thesis is practical. The main chunk is a complete walkthrough of a graphic project with a detailed description for each phase. The completed artwork is an example of graphic comission one can get in the field of ADI. Lastly, alternate tools and practices will be mentioned. The last part of the thesis will take a close look on utilization of ADI for commerce purposes. Specific fields will be defined, in which ADI is commonly used, with examples of existing projects. Expected future development of ADI will be mentioned along with new potentional market fields, in which ADI could find its utilization. Lastly, common problems and obstacles during the process of accepting, completing and selling the graphic project will be described.
