Heating and hot water preparation of recreation center

Content of this bachelor thesis is heating and hot water preparation of recreation centre in the village Ostužná, district Jeseník. Object have 2 above-ground floors. Ground floor is mainly used to meet people in play room or in common room. First floor is situated six accommodation units with private bathroom and toilet. Technical facilities are situated in ground floor and is consists of boiler room and the adjacent fuel storage. For heating is primary used grasifying boiler. Secondary source for hot water preparation is solar systém, that is supplemented by an electric heater in the absence of sunshine. Heating systém is in horizontal double-pipe version with distributor and collector in each floor. The Individual branches on the distributor and collector connected are sections of a single accommodation unit, that can be individually regulated. Radiators are designed as boards in the VK design.
Heating system of the nursing home

The bachelor thesis deals with the design of the heating system and the preparation of hot water using the solar thermal system of the nursing home. The first part of the thesis deals briefly with the history of solar collectors, individual elements of solar thermal systems and about the ways of preparing hot water in various types of operation. The second part of the thesis contains the computational calculation and design of individual elements and equipment of the whole heating system and the solar thermal system. The last part of the thesis is the project at the level of the documentation for the execution of the construction containing the technical report and the drawing documentation.
A Family House with Pool - heating

The main objective is to design an appropriate solution of heating system and heat sources for the detached house. The detached house has an accumulator tank serving for hot water heating, heating-system water heating and water in pool circulation heating. The primary heat source is a fireplace insert with heat exchanger. The accumulator tank can be also heated by solar thermal collectors or gas condensing boiler. Underfloor heating system serves for heating particular rooms.
Design and construction of the manipulator and storage container of the wooden slats

Subject of this masters thesis is the constructional project of the wooden lamelas manipulator. Thesis comprises design of the two possible solution for two main parts of the device, calculational part and constructional solution of the components. Part of the thesis is design documentation and the model of the manipulator.
Design of a space heating system for low-energy family house.

My diploma thesis is focused on design scheme of low-energy family house’s heating system. The goal of the first part of thesis is an introduction of the object following by calculations of transmission coefficients of heat through constructions and calculations of heat loss. Creation of proposal and calculation of underfloor heating output as well as panel and piped radiators and convectors are followed by proposal and calculation of dimensions of piping, pressure loss of underfloor loops, panel and piped radiators and convectors. The thesis also contains design of heating pump with bivalent heat electrical source, calculations of need of heat and calculations of total costs of working heating system as well as design of storage tank and accumulator for hot water. The last part of thesis is focused on control of the heat system.
Design of heating system for low-energy family house

This diploma thesis deals with the design of a heating system for a "low-energy" house. It is conceived as a low temperature system using a combination of radiators and underfloor heating. The design is supplemented with a calculation of heat loss, a proposal of needed components, a scheme of the system and means of regulation. The second part solves the heat source selection. A solar system with vacuum tubes is used as the primary source. The second one is an electrical water heater located in the accumulation reservoir for the hot domestic water. Necessary calculations for the design of the solar system, together with a scheme and means of regulation, are enclosed in this section.
Calculation of storage tank structure for sewage treatment plant

This diploma thesis is focused on finite element analysis of storage tank. The designed computational model in this work is based on existing storage tank documentation. Diploma thesis is divided into parts. Introduction part consists of various storage tanks types description and basis of finite element method. Next part contains methodical process of computational model designs, its characteristics and purpose. Designed models are loaded with set of specific border conditions. These tests are evaluated and described more closely. After that, the table of results is created and von Misses stress of all models is compared. The best model matching real construction is selected after this compare. The final part of this work consists of suggested construction changes based on the analysis results.
The Cogeneration Units for Family House - Evaluation and Simulation

Master’s thesis deals with cogeneration units of low power that are used for heating of buildings and to cover the heat demand of small industrial enterprises. The introductory chapters are focusing on clarifying the principles of combined heat and power (CHP) as well as on the basic advantages and important indicators of CHP. The thesis presents a brief overview of cogeneration devices by type of primary units and also provides an overview of cogeneration units suitable for family houses that are currently available on the market. The text describes how to install and connect the cogeneration unit. The fourth chapter includes description of elemental thermal processes and possibility of heat transfer. The fifth chapter describes the thermal circuit model and calculation efficiency of a cogeneration unit. Thermal circuit consists of a cogeneration unit and a multivalent tank for hot water heating system and potable hot water system. The object of master’s thesis is to create a model of thermal circuit cogeneration units in a simulation program and a graphical user interface, that will allow a simple way to evaluate the operation of the cogeneration unit when changing the input parameters.

It describes useful types of heat pumps for both heating and refrigerating, explains their function and presents their advatages, disadvantages. The work also discusses adaptation of heating systems for adequate and effective utilization of this equipement. Finally, the work introduces particular representatives of heat pumps for air-condition.
