Working time in healthcare

This thesis with the topic Working time in healthcare makes an effort to deal comprehensively with the particular issues of the working time institutes, their application in healthcare and it alternatively point to some defiency in legislation. The regulation of the working time is one of the most important working conditions especially for the workers due to the fact that they spend more than one third of their day at work. In case of the healtcare workers it's even more than one third of their day. In first chapters I pursued regulation of the working time from the view of the international law, in concrete from the view of the Conventions of International Labour Organization. I focused more on the European Union regulations, especially on the Working Time Directive, because due to this directive there is no longer the institute of the on-call duty at workplace in czech legislation. The Directive also allowed to legitimize further agreed overtime work for healthcare works. In the third chapter I focused on the regulation of the working time itself. I analyzed the characteristics and compared the current wording with the definition in the Labour Code from the 1965. Flexible forms of working hours

- Flexible forms of working hours This diploma thesis, in a broader context, represents the issue of flexible forms of working hours. Flexibility of working time is an important part of flexibility of labour law and also of flexibility of the whole labour market. Regulation and practical use of flexible forms of working hours are current issues and the aim of this thesis is to provide comprehensive but clear explanation of these issues. As theoretical bases, the thesis includes parts focused on selected legal principles, international and national regulation of working time and the concept of flexibility. The main part of the thesis is divided into three sections, of which the first one deals with the practical use of flexible forms of working hours, the second one presents particular forms of working hours which are regulated in the Labour Code and the third one is devoted to flexible forms of working time, regulation of which the Labour Code does not include.

3 The bachelor thesis Trends in working conditions is focused on current tendencies in the area of working conditions, especially on the trend of democratization in organizations. The thesis analyzes this phenomenon, because it has not been described in association with working conditions enough. The main goal is to ascertain the reasons of growth of this phenomenon, its essence and the way it is realized. The reasons and the context of the formation and the growth are desribed according to surveys in a field of working satisfaction and can be also found in theories of working motivation. The essence is explained according to the authorities in this field. The emphasis is on the relationship between democratization in organizations and the working conditions. Every aspect of working conditions is described in detail, especially focused on the trends of democratization. The analysis is based on the examples of realization in real organizations. These examples can be found in whole thesis, related to the currently discussed topics. In general, the thesis strives for widening of existing knowledge with complex analysis of relationship between democratization in organizations and the working conditions. Scheduling the hours of work

The aim of this thesis is to provide a comprehensive look at the evolution of schedule of working time legislation and to highlight the longtime process of the institute to evolve to its present form. Since the Czech Republic is the member of the European Union, the thesis is prepared with regard to the law of the European Union. The thesis consists of introduction , three chapters and conclusion. In the introductory chapter, I briefly focuses on the development of schedule of working time legislation. Historical overview began in 1918, although it is certainly possible that the institute had already existed earlier. This chapter deals mainly with the law No. 65/1965 Coll., Labor Code, the predecessor of the current legislation. The second chapter deals with the schedule of working time under the current Labor Code and focuses in detail on the various types of working time schedule, particularly working time account, which is a novelty in our legal system. The final chapter describes schedule of working time in relation to an international documents and European Community law, which the Czech legal system must be consistent with.

The bachelor's thesis is focused on working time and rest period under Czech legislation conditions that is influenced by Community law of European Union, which is the Czech Republic a part of. The subject of the thesis is a current issue, especially due to the extensive amendment to the Labour Code, which came into effect on 1. 1. 2012. The object of this thesis is to provide a comprehensive overview of legal provisions concerning working time and rest period showing it's development and the current form of legal provisions. Additionally the comparison of the issue in six EU member states is not forgotten.
Modern society and working time

Last decade of society development brought numerous essential changes, which are reflected in the forming of working time. This work tries to give comprehensive view on the progress of working time forming and development (its division and separation, working hours length variation) with the emphasis on unconventional (flexible) methods of working time planning and their usage in contemporary society, that is now more often and required. In final chapter there is brought closer the development of legislative conception of working time in Czechoslovak and Czech legislation.

In the first two chapters deal with defining the concept of leisure time. The third chapter is about the categories of free time. The fourth chapter deals with the pedagogy of free time. The last fifth chapter is about leisure and recreational activities.
Regulation of working time - evaluation of public policies

Thesis focuses on concrete examples of social engineering in working time regulation field. Mainly uses econometric measures and models to evaluate agreed and expected goals. In the theoretic part of work are presented concepts, how and why the proper authorities regulate working time, what are costs and benefits of this activity and how academy economics see working time as regulation needed subject. With anticipating existing analysis are further developed authors own econometric model, which is putted in the light of french 35hours working week, effects of maximal obligate working time in European union and tries of german politic garniture, which argue for longer working week as well. Later is presented comparation of results of all the case studies into Czech reality, which is preciselly mentioned and predicted as economic future in case, if Czech arrea addopts similar policies. As starting point is described historical development of life/day time spend by work, are used dates of work productivity, economic reality of chosen countries, before in and after the moment, when they decided for legislative according to driving of working time.
