Práce je zaměřena na konkrétní příklady socioinženýrských rozhodnutí v oblasti regulace pracovní doby a pomocí ekonometrické analýzy jsou ohodnoceny případná dosažení vytyčených cílů. V teoretické části jsou nastíněny postupy, jak a proč příslušné autority regulují pracovní dobu, jaké jsou náklady a výnosy takového počínání a jak ekonomičtí teoretikové vnímají oblast pracovní doby jako po regulaci volající. Převzetím už existujících analýz, ale především vytvořením vlastního ekonometrického modelu, jsou zanalyzovány pětatřicetihodinový pracovní týden ve Francii, efekty povinné maximální pracovní doby v Evropské unii i německé politické snahy o prosazení naopak delšího pracovního týdne. Výsledky zmíněných případových studií jsou napasovány na českou realitu, která je podrobněji nastíněna a dále je předpovězen vývoj v českém prostředí v případě přijetí totožné legislativy. Jako východisko posloužilo zmapování historického vývoje délky pracovní doby, údaje o produktivitě práce, ekonomická realita vybraných ekonomik před, v momentu volby toho kterého opatření, i po něm nebo legislativní zázemí problematiky řízení pracovní doby. Thesis focuses on concrete examples of social engineering in working time regulation field. Mainly uses econometric measures and models to evaluate agreed and expected goals. In the theoretic part of work are presented concepts, how and why the proper authorities regulate working time, what are costs and benefits of this activity and how academy economics see working time as regulation needed subject. With anticipating existing analysis are further developed authors own econometric model, which is putted in the light of french 35hours working week, effects of maximal obligate working time in European union and tries of german politic garniture, which argue for longer working week as well. Later is presented comparation of results of all the case studies into Czech reality, which is preciselly mentioned and predicted as economic future in case, if Czech arrea addopts similar policies. As starting point is described historical development of life/day time spend by work, are used dates of work productivity, economic reality of chosen countries, before in and after the moment, when they decided for legislative according to driving of working time.
