Proposal of the Model of Annual Floorball Training Cycle

Title: Proposal of the model of annual floorball training cycle Objectives: The aim of my graduation theses will be the proposal of annual training cycle by means of annual training cycle analyse in season 2004/2005 of Czech and Swiss extraligue team and the usage of theoretic knowledge. Floorball is one of the youngest indoor team sport since 1992 established by CFBU with the noting unusual boom. Compared to other sports with longer tradition the floorball has the reserves in knowledge, strictly speaking lack of written documentation and material for help to coaches in training processes. Methods: There is the method of proposal and demonstration during elaboration of this task as well as method of formative evaluation, method ofjuxtaposition. Results: The result of my graduation theses will be the proposal of annual training cycle. The annual training cycle will be characterized by means of nonspecific and specific indexes. By means of specific indexes will be characterized particular microcycles. For the clearness the results will be presented by means of diagrams and charts. "Self-portrait in the circles of smoke": self-fashioning of the modern artist as a smoker in the Czech art at the turn of the 19th and 20th century

The topic of this Diploma Thesis is the representation of an artist as a smoker in the Czech Art at the turn of the 19th and 20th century. The motive is studied in the works of artists of the 1890s generation and the early avant-garde (Osma, Skupina výtvarných umělců), with the focus on the iconography of a smoker in art as well as the cultural history of smoking. Apart from paintings and graphics it uses other visual sources such as portrait photographs, caricatures published in contemporary newspapers and posters. The Thesis looks for a wider tradition in the European art and maps specific types of artist-smoker for whom cigarette, pipe or cigar is a part of his personal stylization. The first part concentrates on the early usage of the motive in the baroque painting and in the 19th century as such. The next part focuses on self-fashioning of modern artists characterized by their definition against social conventions. The attribute of smoking plays a role of a symbol of bohemian Iife, dandy astuteness, neurasthenic decadent, social or artistic revolt or emancipation of female-artists. The last part deals with the relationship of smoking to the actual art production of modern artists. Political, social and cultural integration of the immigrants from India in the United States of America

This paper deals with the political, social and cultural integration of the immigrants from India in the United States of America. The last and so far the biggest wave of Asian Indian immigration to the U.S. began after 1965 with the passage of the new Immigration Act. Today, there are more than 2.5 million Asian Indian immigrants living in the U.S. The aim of this thesis is to analyze the chronology of events and history of U.S. immigration laws concerning Asian, and particularly Asian Indian, immigrants. Building on this analysis, the goal is further to show how the immigrants were being discriminated against and how they managed to integrate successfully into the mainstream American society despite many cases of refusal and acts based on prejudice. The Social Integration part analyzes possible problems in the Asian Indian immigrant family living in the U.S., their attitudes towards education, and finally their success at work. The Cultural Integration part includes the topic of multiculturalism, issues of conflict and communication, differences between the American and Indian culture, as well as religion, holidays, and traditions.

The usage of derivatives in order to hedge th exchange rate risk

This thesis proposes to the reader the solution of how to quantify and later eliminate the exchange rate risk using the zero cost option strategies. First chapter is dedicated the conception of the exchange rate risk, to its structure and the potential elimination of the sub- risks. Second chapter deals with the methods of quantification of the exchange rate risk. In this chapter a traditional method and Value at risk are mentioned. Third chapter defines the terms- derivative, option, main option positions, factors influencing the option premium and its importance via making option strategies and taking decisions whether to hedge or not. Last chapter uses all the pieces of knowledge in practice. Several zero cost strategies are shown here also with the illustrative examples.

Line construction within the life cycle from the perspective of BIM

The aim of the work was the usage of the Building Information Modelling system to ensure the complete building-up, including the working part of the line constructions. In the first part of my thesis I was dealing with the costs of the total life of the line construction, the line construction life-cycle, with the difference between the Building Information Modelling model and traditional projecting, with the participators participants of the Building Information Modelling model and which levels in the Building Information Modelling exist. In the practical part I was dealing with two levels of the Building Information Modelling designing, in which I set the total price of the building researched and then I was comparing them. In the final chapter of the thesis working expenses were set which are involved in the expenses of the total life.

Conversion to Judaism a Reflection to Jewish Oral Tradition and History

The thesis deals with conversion to Judaism from the point of view of the Jewish oral tradition and history. First part is focused on the general issue of conversions, laws and regulations of the Jewish law (Halakha) dealing with conversions, and views held by scholars belonging to the Talmudic period. Chronologically ordered sections follow, containing examples of conversions of both individuals and ethnic groups (Samaritans) of the Biblical period with an emphasis on their presence in written oral tradition, in Mishna, Gemarah and midrashes. Examples of converts of the Hellenic and Roman periods are presented in a similar fashion. This part is concluded with a chapter on converts in the Sassanid Babylonia. The thesis then presents examples of conversions from the late Hellenic period and early Middle Ages, including peripheral parts of the then know world - northern Africa, Ethiopia, Yemen and the Khazar Khaganate in the steppes along the Volga river. The last part of the thesis consists of examples of individual conversions to Judaism in the Europe of Middle Ages and the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. The aim of this bachelor work "Vegetable alkaloids, their usage and abuse during the history of humanity" is to demonstrate the basic toxicological and pharmacological thesis to readers, furthermore the history of usage and especially abuse all the vegetables that contain alkaloids. One of the important parts illustrates the selected representative toxic plants that occur and can be found in our lands, in addition their usage from the antique periods till today. This work also focuses to the misuse of these vegetables in the area of poisoning and on the other hand their usage in the traditional medicine, homeopathy and also in the modern medicine. The development of Livia Klausová media representation in the daily newspaper Mladá Fronta DNES during the years 2003-2008

Today's role of wife of the president continues the tradition of Czechoslovak first ladies of the First Republic era. The president's wife achieves a certain level of status and is known through the media. However, it is important to note that this title is still not codified in this country, it is an unpaid function and in consequence, there are no official requirements for specific roles which the first lady of the Czech Republic should fulfil. Despite this, it is evident that she becomes involved in the public life and therefore she will probably have various roles applied to her. The object of this thesis is to assess - through the example of Livia Klausová - in what way is the first lady presented to the readers of Mladá fronta DNES, which can be classified as a serious Czech newspaper. The aim of this thesis is to describe, based on selected newspaper articles, the specific roles in which Livia Klausová appeared in the daily paper during the first presidential mandate of Václav Klaus in the years 2003-2008. Accurate results are achieved by content qualitative analysis of selected newspaper texts of the daily paper Mladá fronta DNES.
