Graphic design of mobile and PC web applications

The objective of bachelor's thesis is to find out, how to make graphic design of mobile applications. Thesis has two parts. At the beginning is described growth of mobile application market and terms about mobile devices. After this thesis describes, what is mobile application, identify difference between native applications and mobile web sites. Last section of teoretical part is about approaches how to design mobile applications. The second part is practical. There are chosen three applications, which will be tested, if their graphic design was created well. In case graphic design is not created well, there will be made solution, which removes lacks in graphic design of application. There will be also evaluated hypothesis, if graphic designers are making user friendly applications.
Development of mobile applications for Android platform in Java programming language

In the bachelor thesis the basics of application programming for the Android operating system are described. In this work Java programming language is used for programming. In the opening part of the thesis the structure of the Android operating system is briefly described. In the following chapters the typical architecture of android applications is explained. Particular components present in almost any Android application are described. The text in the next chapters deals with creation of graphical user interface and persistence. At the end of each chapter comparison with the Java SE platform is given. Finally, a practical application is presented.
Modern technologies and trends used for customer acquisition and retention

The bachelor thesis is focused on trends and modern technologies used by banks for their current clients and for acquisition of new clients. The banking market is characterized by a high supply and a competition. Innovative approach and added value in modern technologies may help the banks to increase a competitive advantage and loyalty of their clients, which may be a main factor for success. The aim of this thesis is a description of these tools and an evaluation of their utilization in the Czech Republic and abroad.

This thesis is about mobile device management in the enterprise. It is focused on analyzing the features of operational systems of mobile devices, that allows their management. Further there is analysis of software tools and solutions, specifically designed for mobile device management. And then there is provided fictional company, for which this thesis finds most suitable software solution based on multicriterion selection.
Enterprise mobile device management

The main goal of the bachelor thesis is to describe and analyze the topic of mobile device management -- mobile applications, functionalities and the possibilities of implementation in the heterogeneous environment of companies, with all of the attached security issues covered. In the first, theoretical part the thesis describes particular vendors, possibilities of the management of mobile devices, both in company and employee ownership. We also describe the actual model of implementation the mobile device management in an actual Czech company. Second part of the thesis consists from the analyzed and commented the global market study, conducted in 2014 as well as the Czech Republic mobile device management market poll from the year 2013. Both of the studies put the original telephonic poll, made for the purpose of this thesis, in wider context. The results of the poll are analyzed and described in a comprehensive way.
Analysis framework for developing cross-platform mobile applications using HTML technology.

The aim of the master thesis is to assess frameworks that are used for development of multiplatform cell phone applications supported by HTML technology. The theoretical part is focused to current market analysis, mobile access issues and the issue of difficulties in specific cases of their application. Analysis is followed by choice of evaluation criteria for setting the most appropriate architecture. Selected evaluation criteria will be used as a tool for detecting of the optimal technology's possibility, which is the most appropriate possibility for development of basic cell phones applications. The practical part is focused to choosing of new evaluation criteria, which helps to create specific questionnaire research. The confirmation or refuse of the hypothesis set up the level of criteria's severity. Based on criteria there will be selected and analysed six of the most used hybrid frameworks. Two of the frameworks with the highest ratings will be tested by real basic cell phone application. The conclusion of the thesis will be follow up by tested frameworks. The frameworks will be described and measured by the author's development experiences.
Design of methodology for implementation of mobile device management in a BYOD environment

This master thesis is focused on topic of using mobile devices in work environment of enterprises, specifically on using mobile devices owned by employees. The thesis is divided into two parts. First part of the thesis describes benefits and risks of using mobile devices in enterprises while allowing usage of mobile devices owned by employees and compares individual mobile platforms in terms of security. Also there is a comparison of individual mobile devices management solutions in terms of security in this part of the thesis. Second part of the thesis is focused on methodology of mobile devices implementation in enterprises and their security. Methodology describes activities required for implementation of mobile devices in enterprises. At the end of this part there are security recommendations which are suitable to apply to mobile devices in enterprises.
Proposals for improving mobile applications for the Fire Brigade of the Czech Republic

This thesis deals with the improvement of mobile applications for the Fire Brigade of the Czech Republic. The theoretical part focuses on the importance of information that is necessary for the successful completion of an emergency situation. This section also includes a description of the activities of the regional operations centers and information system used by firefighters. The theoretical part is closed by the description of the process of the elaboration of an emergency situation. One of the aims of the practical part was to carry out the analysis of mobile applications used on the terminal equipment of the tablet in the Czech Republic and in neighbouring countries. Another goal was to design improvements in the form of new mobile applications that Fire Brigade in the Czech Republic could develop. Besides there were proposed recommended mobile application for the tablets considering the selected roles of firefighters.
Approaches to solving mobile web applications

This master thesis focuses on approaches to solving mobile web applications. Author focuses on the classification of mobile devices and the description of their attributes and specifications of touch screen controls. Part of the work is devoted to the characteristics of mobile operating systems and of mobile web browsers. One chapter is aimed on the psychology of user behaviour and expectations of mobile users from mobile website. A significant part of the work is paid to specifications of the development of web design for mobile devices and the differences to classical web design. In addition, the author describes the Responsive Web Design and the idea of Mobile First. In the practical part, the author analyzes the cross platform access to websites of Czech railway transport companies -- České dráhy, LEO Express and RegioJet. The access from smartphones, tablets and desktops is tested using analysis based on multi-criteria evaluation. To test the author uses a web emulator to simulate different versions of operating systems and web browsers. The aim of the analysis is to create a series of recommendations for better optimization of access from mobile devices.

Business Intelligence (BI) has now become a core part to many businesses due to the benefits it brings -- the ability to access data in a common format from multiple sources and making decisions that help organization to move closer to its goals. Many workers today spend most of their time away from their office and can't easily access corporate data. The use of the Internet on mobile devices has changed the way people consume information. Embracing mobile computing means having the ability to access information anywhere, anytime and as a result consumers can make decisions faster. Thesis is focused on mobile Business Intelligence and the aim is to provide o comprehensive overview of this area, examine market trends, define critical success factors for implementation projects, and introduce mobile BI platform QlikView. Furthermore it explains the differences between traditional and mobile BI, explores benefits and drawbacks of these tools and the challenges that must be addressed. The reader will learn what types of employees and tasks are suited for mobile BI programs and outlined critical success factors might be valuable information for any company planning implementation of mobile BI tools.
